We need to get much better at checking for lodges FIRST when we are planning our routes. We love the lodge atmospheres of the bar, and the down home cooking in the restaurants! You can't beat the cost!

We have the exact helmets we bought in our "Bike Riding Equipment" section of our Amazon Store. The quality and reliability of the radio communication is amazingly good for the price. The bluetooth connection to my iphone for calls and music is great as well.

Love St Augustine.. What a Fun area.. I was there in January 2022.. Saw a great Sunrise at Vilano Beach.. My favorite restaurant was Prohibition Kitchen.. Next time I will check out Beachcomber. Omg we could be friends! We are staying near St Augustine. One night it hit me and I started singing A1A Beachfront Ave and my husband said that isn’t a song so I pulled up the Ice Ice Baby Video and we laughed.
I liked this song so much I was going to get a digital mp3 file of it, and load it into my fancy doorbell I had. When I went to buy the doorbell for my new house, I was devastated that they no longer sold it!

That lighthouse was gorgeous. I love lighthouses. A lot of steps going up and coming down.lol! That amphitheater was right up my alley. If I lived there, I would go to a lot of the outdoor concerts! Both of the Farmers Markets were a great way to spend "retirement" time together!

Our bikes are not folding. We wanted bikes that were real, and would be super comfortable cruisers. Sue & I have Elux Brand, Malibu GT model ebikes. They have been trouble free. The GT Model has a GIANT 21Ah battery. We can easily get 70 miles out of one charge in the flat terrain of Florida we are in now. In the Hills of the Mickelson Bike Trail, I would be able to count on and easy 50 plus! Out butts wear out at about 35 miles in one day.
Great video Mark and Sue! Somewhat of a difficult question here. With all the states that you and Sue have traveled to, if you had to put down roots and settle down, other than your home state, where would you like to spend the rest of your lives in?
We truly can't decide yet,........BUT,.............we think we will get TWO really small 1000 sq foot places. Get back to us after the next 5 years,......

@@gman77gas We will be in Milwaukee for 2-1/2 months. Then we are off to Utah for a 31 day Caravan Tour to 6 National Parks. Next is the Cumbres & Toltec train ride, a few days in Sedona NM, 10 days at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, a month in Arizona, and a couple months in Borrego Springs CA. Then,.....I will be broke!

St Aug is a fun place to be. There is free RV parking back behind the school and tennis courts, they allow overnight , I believe for just one night.
We recommend a week at least to see and appreciate everything. (We are slow!)
That fort called Castillo was pretty nice to see. It’s nice to know the history of it.
It was a really well preserved and easy to find and visit Fort!

Staying at the Elks in this area is the way to go. Just plan in a "dump" at the KOA mid stay!
