JUNCTION TEXAS KIMBLE COUNTY | Coke Stevenson | O. C. Fisher | Texas Town

The county was named for George C. Kimble, who died at the Battle of the Alamo.
When Kimble County was organized in 1876, Kimbleville was chosen as the county seat. A year later, Junction (first called Denman, and then Junction City) became the county seat. Three courthouses have been built in Junction. The first, built-in 1878, burned in 1884. The second, built-in 1885, burned in 1888, but was rebuilt and used until 1929, when the third and current courthouse was built.

My hometown. Nice place to grow up. Not much there for young adults.

I had a really bad experience here and it has made me never want to go to Texas ever again. The scam they pull on people off I-10 is so bad. This place is so far behind in time it's so not funny. I rode for the first time through Texas from Arizona on my way back to FL and this bad situation happened to me and my husband and it took them over a year to even do anything about it. Please don't ever go to this part of Texas. For this I will never be visiting Texas ever again and it shame because I love Six Flags and will going to them.
