    i def think this is the reason why I am going to be choosing the scarlettt for my first I/O since i Have been getting back into music recording, vs the motu and UA, the plugins are just too good.

      I have heard some things that the second generation was better than the third generation do you know anything about that? There was some kind of issue that they might not have corrected yet on the third generation or some or some thing was harder to access or something like that

      The 3rd generation is better in nearly every way. Unless there is some weird obscure feature that the 2nd did like maybe headphone gain...but nah the 3rd is where it's at.

      @@Byronic19134 Thanks for getting back to me I may still get one later we’ll see I’ll with a IK Multimedia Axe I/O + AmpliTube 5 Max Bundle from Sweetwater and so far everything I’ve seen of it has been pretty good. The big thing I like about it is it made in Italy not China, my house has been Chinese’s to death and There has been days every single thing I own is broken lol. Check out some RUclips videos on this thing on guitar players do when I seen Pete thorn using one and hearing the tone you out of it that was it

    Focusrite and I have very different ideas of the definition of "bunndle". Yes, the links to get them are all in one place, but getting them all is a scavenger hunt. Almost every one requires setting up an account with the software/plugin manufacturers/resellers. Then you need to download and install a seperate install manager for each manufacturer/reseller. THEN you can download, install, and activate it. All of that for each one.
    It's neither as simple nor as quick as implied here.
    [EDIT] I hit 'enter' too quick, lol. I wanted to say thanks, Mitch for a great demo! I love my 4i4. Just wish I could have afforded the 18i8, as I need more i/o's. Maybe one day!

      This is unfortunately just the state of plugins. These are a collection of ACTUALLY useful/good plugins that you COULD get from a central place (like from Plugin Alliance), but considering you get all this even when buying something like a 2i2 is insane value, even if you reduced every plugin to their rock bottom sale price (usually something like $20-30 a pop).

    • @swervature
      @swervature 2 года назад +1

      @@shadow1psc -- Don't get me wrong: good FREE plugins are good FREE plugins, lol. I was only pointing out that it doesn't take "a few minutes" I have a 12Mb/s down speed so between creating the accounts, d/l-ing them, and installing them, it was several hours.
      Imagine being ssked to pick up a bundle of clothes for someone only to find out you would need to go to 20 different laundromats and get 1-2 articles from each. What you come away with in the end could technically be called a bundle, but not what you thought of when first being asked.
      One of the deciding factors for me purchasing a Focusrite was the offer of free Pro Tools. Only after buying it do you find out that that's no longer offered.
      Tomtoes/potatoes. I'm still happy with it and the Hitmaker Expansion Pack

    Does all that software come with a Focusrite? Can I buy it separately and use it on my Tascam interface?

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  2 года назад +3

      Hey, E! Thanks for your interest. All of that software is included with the Scarlett interfaces right out of the box. The whole bundle isn’t available as a separate purchase, and if you end up buying the software pieces individually it’s a lot more expensive than the price of the interface itself, so Focusrite really has a great deal worked out with these. Let me know if you have any other questions!

      @@ChrisP3000x because you say that doesn’t make it right. You need the I.T knowledge to drag and drop files and installations and shit. But yo7 don’t need to know how to play a simple chord. The standard of music today is shocking. The new stars from The Voice and reality crap have damaged real music massively. Harry Styles concert tickets at Old Trafford football stadium in Manchester are over £200 for the cheapest. Tickets to see Nine Inch Nails at the Eden Project in Cornwall in June (I’m going on the 17th) are £72. And the vast majority of people think Harry Styles is better than Reznor even though he can’t play an instrument.
