A couple months ago I started into recording with the Scarlett Solo. Learning more every day. This walk through of the added software is exactly what I needed right now. Thank you!
Really good demo and clearly explained. You are an excellent communicator Zane.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. Keep creating! 👊👍
Thank you i love you, you made me realize i already own
Auto-Tune Access because i own a Focusrite Scarlet 8i6 3rd Gen!!!
this is the best video ever. very helpful and very easy to understand. cheers!
Glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. Thank you for watching and for the comment. Keep creating! 👊👍
This man is awesome 👏🏾
Never registered my 2i2 when i got it in 2020 I’m so pumped to get all these plugins now 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Same
I just bought the FR Solo 3rd Gen. I'm excited to see what it can do! I (for the last few years) have been using the iRig2 & Amplitube(iPad) to track all my things(including vocals). I will be using a MSI - Stealth Laptop w/i9 & RTX3080. Amplitube was cool but, always very lacking on vocals (both recording, tracking & mixing). Hopefully this has some cool drum tracks too (we do metal music), if not, I'm sure they'll have some cool plug-ins I can buy? I also bought a Shure 55. I know. It's a kick ass Live mic. But, I'm sure it will work just great for what I'm doing. Thanks for the video. I'm kind of in the middle as far as engineering so, I have a lot more to learn but, this helps! Rock on!
Wait this sound great !!!!
Very good video, well done.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment. Keep creating! 👊👍
Great video! I’m just about to start out recording, I’m not a musician but I can sing. I’ve bought the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Generation Studio pack but with a SE X1 A condenser mic, I can’t wait to get started but there’s so much to take in my head hurts!😜 Thanks for this very informative video. 🙏 Subscribed!
Keep up champ
@@LilaMusicDigital Thank you, I will!😊
Hello! Tell me please why i see another plugins in my account after reg?
Why i just get 3 months trial even it say unlimited? This is weird! Can you explain it?
it gives you the auto tune forever?
your a great singer
Haha. I appreciate that. I typically get the opposite comment about my singing lol. But hey I enjoy singing and I’m going to continue doing it for fun. Thank you so Much for this comment and for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Okay, so over this year I've come across your videos a few times and I wasn't sure if I was going to sub, but this video pushed me to sub. :) I have a Scarlett 18i20 2nd Gen so I don't get access to this :( lol But Maybe I'll upgrade, who knows.
Very cool, do all the plug ins with the hit maker expansion pack come with the purchase of the 2i2 or is there an additional charge?
They all come with it for free. No additional charge. You just need to register your 2i2 or other Focusrite interface and all your plugins will be in your account in their site.
Stupid question: How do I find these plug ins once I have installed them? I can't seem to find any of these plug ins on fl studio
Nice videos! Whats the name of the recording software your using?
The software is Ableton Live Lite. It comes with the Scarlett audio interface.
@@AudioTechTV ok thanks
But how do you access these plugins I’m having a mf headache
I'm interested in purchasing this. Does the plug in bundle provide a variety of pedals like reverb and delay?
There aren’t any pedals included with the Hitmaker Expansion but there are tons of free ones available elsewhere like the free Amplitube LE which includes amps and pedals plus tons of other plugins.
@@AudioTechTV Great video!
Great video..! But too sad that i'm gonna miss the bundle because, i bought them few months back.. 😥 #focusrite
I have a feeling the restriction is due to a licensing thing with the plugin developers or Focusrite would likely give them to everyone. But you still got a great plugin bundle when you registered. I did another video on creating a song with that bundle here ruclips.net/video/Lw3hal7q8DY/видео.html in case you missed it. Thank you for checking out the video. Glad you enjoyed it. Keep creating! 👊👍
@@AudioTechTV Thank you very much for your reply.. ❤️ Yes, i do believe that you're correct and they're running a business.. i actually do use the all the software in the bundle you get when registering and really do love them.. And i'll defiantly check out the tutorial you've kindly mentioned as well.. ( Which i already know going to be another really good one ).. 👍 Again thank you very much for the awesome videos!! 👍❤️
Hi, do these plug-ins work on FL STUDIO?
Yes they will work with FL Studio
I cant get the plug ins I downloaded to show up in ableton is there something I can do. The sweetwater video made it seem they would pop up automatically
It's likely due to the folder that you're installing the plugins to. VST3 plugins have a default folder and Ableton Live should pick those up right away but VST2 plugins tend to install in different folders depending on the manufacturer. I recommend installing plugins into "c://program files/VSTPlugins" this is a typical install location. Then in Ableton Live go up to options. click on preferences and then click on the plugins tab in the window that pops up. Make sure "Use VST2 Plug-in Folder" is turned on and then click on "browse" in the "VST2 custom plug-in folder" section. select the folder where you will be installing your plugins and then click "rescan" to scan for plugins in the new folder that you setup. Here is a link to Ableton's website where they go over installing plugins help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209071729-Using-VST-plug-ins-on-Windows
Thank you I pretty much found all my vs3 plug ins in the program files folder. Most of my vs2 as well but for some reason either by my mistake or jus luck they addictive keys and drums are in a different file in my "documents" ive tried looking to move the plug ins to the program file folder but I cant find them. All i know is when I have ableton search my documents for vs2 it finds them. Then when I want to use my other vs2 I have to Then search in program files which makes it a little tedious. As of now I'm just learning and would like all the plug ins to be in the same spot that way I can spend less time loading them in and more time making music
im thinking about getting a scarlett solo 3rd gen ..are all these plugins still free when you register? because i read some of them arent offered for free anymore..
Yes all these plugins are still included. You don’t get Pro Tools First with the Scarlett interfaces anymore because that program no longer exists. Focusrite also no longer give you the “collective” which used to give you free plugins every few months. But all the plugins included with the Hitmaker expansion are still there.
@@AudioTechTV cool! thanks for the reply!
I just bought the scarllet solo,do the hitman expansion plugins come in the box or how do we download it?
Go to the Focusrite website and register it if you haven’t already and then you should see the plugins in your account with instructions on installing each one.
@@AudioTechTV alright thanks!
@@AudioTechTV hey just noticed that it comes with choosing one out of 4 addictive keys piano and i’m stuck on which one i should get, just wanted an opinion if i should get the mark one or the cp80, i make r&b jazz and lofi
@@Bryan-yp2xy I went with the Mark One. I never really listened to the CP80 so I can’t comment on that but I do like the Mark One it’s pretty versatile. You can download trials for them and see what works best for you.
@@AudioTechTV ah alright thanks!
I have problems to install and see plugins on garage band, could you help me?
Sorry I’m a windows user so I can’t help with that but here’s a link to a video from another creator that looks like it’s what you might need ruclips.net/video/xlreWvaQyB0/видео.htmlsi=F-Muvv4yPtOVl3nr
How can i use the plugins? If i download it my pc says i dont have a software to use it can anyone help me pls?
It kind of depends on what DAW software you’re using. But you want to install the plugins into a folder typically c:\program files\vstplugins and vst3 plugins will all get installed to the same location and you shouldn’t have to worry about them.
Once you have them installed, go into your DAW software and in the preferences there should be a section for plugins or file locations and in that section you want to add the folder where you installed the plugins. Your software may also have the option to manually scan for plugins so you can do that too and it should find them all. Then you can load these plugins in your daw however you want.
Plugins, aren’t stand alone programs they are effects and instruments that you can load into host software typically (DAW) digital audio workstation software.
@@AudioTechTV aah now i underdtand thx so much 😊🙏🏽
I need to figure out how to find the free plug-ins that came with my focusrite
If you haven’t registered your Focusrite interface yet, do that. If you have registered it, go into your Focusrite account and you’ll see “my software” along the top. (If you’re on mobile it’s hidden in the menu button) click my software and you’ll see all of the included plugins plus some plugins you can download for free for a limited time.
@@AudioTechTV oh snap
@@AudioTechTV I’ve had it for a year bro
@@creepymcpeepers if you’re just registering it now then you’ll get the new plugins. If you registered it before, you’ll get the time and tone bundle which had some decent plugins and either way you’ll get the Focusrite Scarlett compressor and EQ which are excellent.
@@AudioTechTV do I have to get the daws that come with the plug in to get the plug in or can I use the plug with the logic
what speakers work with the solo powered non power don't want to spend a fortune
If you are connecting the speakers directly to the solo then you will want a powered speaker/monitor. There are several decent budget priced studio monitors. I like the Edifier MR4 monitors. There's also some decent affordable Mackie monitors, and the Presonus Eris monitors are decent too.
Non powered speakers will need an amplifier as the Solo doesn't have an amplified output.
Thank you for the quick reply I appreciate that@@AudioTechTV
Are these trial versions?
No they are plugins that you get codes to unlock so not trials. You can keep them forever.
@AudioTechTV or
anyone know if AUTO-TUNE Access is forever. ik one said 3 months but almost sure that was for another software
Autotune access is a free forever plugin. The Autotune unlimited subscription that you get with this is 3 months trial.
@@AudioTechTV my interface just came in and as m setting it up there's no Auto Tune Access download in "my software" what do I do? this was the main reason I bought it
If you registered your interface and you can see all of the other plugins that come with the hit maker expansion pack but that one is missing then contact Focusrite support. It still shows on their website that AutoTune Access comes with it.
@@AudioTechTV do you know if refurbished interfaces get it too? or if someone has downloaded it I cant get my chance to get it since someone already has? if that makes sense
I’m not 100% sure on this but I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that the former owner has to de-register the interface from their account first. Contact support to find out for sure though.
Unfortunately my Focusrite iTrack Solo interface is too old :(
old? what do you mean?
I cannot download the software, because it’s only for the Scarlett series :(
Can't find Marshall softube plug-in in the hitmaker expansion. That is lame.
If you go into your Focusrite account and click on my software, you should see it in the Audio FX section.
Man, this sucks. I got my scarlett in early 2021.
I didn't know it came with pro tools daw, I downloaded cakewalk trying to be cheap 😂😂
It doesn’t come with the same version of Pro Tools as it used to. But you can grab Pro Tools Intro for free. However there’s nothing wrong with Cakewalk.
Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
@@AudioTechTV alright
@@OneBiteBeatslol, just “alright”
i bought mine 2 years ago and i dont het it....darn !!
That is a bummer but you did get the Time and Tone bundle which is pretty good. The delay and Drawmer plugin in that bundle are excellent. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
@@AudioTechTV yes its cool tho and yes you are absolutely correct i bought the bundle about 2 years ago and its awesome you cant go wrong im using it with studio one and reaper and its worth every dollar. for someone recording at home you have everything you need right out of the box good quality and the sound you get from all the included pieces is great. your review was spot on you can easily make pro quality music with this set up !!! thankd\s for all the great vids !!
@@AudioTechTV addictive drums 2 only, is better than all time and tone bundle. Because it is very easy to find a great free compressor, delay or reverb plugin but so hard to find a free realistic drum vst (I have ad2 too but I bought it myself)
I've been with focusrite since gen 1, their products are fine but... new interfaces within focusrites price point have much better converters now...focusrite could have retained me if this package was available for long term customers, but now I'm just steering new producers away from them. Sorry focusrite.
And yes...I received plugins when purchasing the product initially but they are in no way comparable to these plugins.
