I was able to finally watch your entire video this time. I am going to try your recipe, but use Trivia due to diabetes. Thank you for the informative video.
I feel so special! 🤩 I enjoyed this whole video. I’m sorry you used your last canning lids for me, but I’m excited to get my hands on that jar of blackberry preserves. I’ll be eating it all the time! 😍💛 Thank you so much for doing this for me.
I thought your video was helpful, but lacked some information that would have been helpful for anyone who has not canned jelly/jam/preserves. How many cups of blackberries did you have? How much sugar did you use?
Hello Judy! Thanks for watching the video! I’m glad it was helpful!! If you’ll rewatch the video, at the 1:48 time mark of the video, I go over the amount of blackberries (10 cups) and at the 2:46 time mark of the video, I speak of the amount of sugar (7.5 cups). ❤️
@@manda0531 Thank you for your response. Somehow I missed this information. It seems that I did not get the beginning of your video for some reason. This information is extremely helpful. Thank you so very much.
Watch your video look like it was good until you added three teaspoons of I don't know what you didn't bother telling anybody so I guess it's onto another video
Hello Trish! Thank you for watching my video! At 1 minute and 25 seconds I explained that I am adding pectin (and show the bottle) to the blackberry preserves because I purchased these blackberries from the store and they are extra ripe, unlike more unripened blackberries that contains more pectin! Good luck with your preserves! :)

Looks delicious. I am new to this canning so . You added butter? Thought if it had butter it had to be pressure canned ? 🤔😁 And what is golden eagle?
What is golden eagle ?
@@gregleach5833 it’s a syrup made in Alabama. I believe you can order it and have it shipped.
