Last thing you need to worry about if you run so many butchers with transports are forge org slots. Coz you aren't gonna have any points left. 735 points minimum for a squad of fatties that can be attritioned by barely upgraded tacs and straight up lose to any of the other melee elites is not a good investment in any scenario.
That's a good point.
You might want to check out the Sons of Horus Reaver aggressors unit which is on Games Workshop's HH Legacy Units Pdf. Essentially they are Reavers with jumpacks and like their codex breathren they can be troop choices with the Black Reavinh Rite of war.

Anytips on how to kit out Command squad for World Eaters for like a deathstar?
I'm not sure if you'll reply to this vid given how old it is, but... since Red Butchers carry two power axes, are they actually +2 strength in close combat, or just +1 strength (with the extra attack for two melee weapons +1 attack for the world eaters bonus +1 attack again for charging?). I assume if it actually makes them +2 strength, then that would make Angron actually S10 as well due to Furious Charge(2) and gorefather and gorechild?

Really enjoyed the video, thanks for taking the time to put it together. Out of curiosity, do you have any additional thoughts on how to run Rampagers or Predators? Was planning to use falax blades and potentially jump packs, but on paper feels expensive for a 15 man squad.
Hi BK thanks for the feedback. We'll 100% I would run rampagers I would run them as troops with the Beserker assault right of war. Predators I will look into combos for you more. A few Falax blades would be a good idea IMHO. They are 2 wounds and chosen warriors so that will offer them some extra protection. With the jump packs. I would only take them if their was a vital need or the army was fast enough to keep up. Rampagers are amazing for World Eaters.

@Here_KeatyKeaty9539 no worries as I said I'll look into the predator situation also with WE. The main thing is you use points for Spartans etc which are waaayyy more valuable to carry your melee troops in a melee focused army. Predators are a bit hit and miss in 2.0 but when they hit. They hit! Lol they are great in ironhands.

I guess on the Predators my thinking was 2 squads of 2 or 3 could be of some utility with their low cost, provide some additional heavy use while using the unused slots on other units. I was thinking it could use a melta and provide some protection to transports and dreads (if close combat focused), or could help hit troops on approach with another weapon set?
Alternatively, pred's with no meltas and maybe use a third fast attack squad of sky hunter or something with meltas? Then they can hit transports, terms, anti armor opportunistically to give the army another dynamic while complimenting it?
Should say, I am just returning to the game. Last time I played was 10 or 15 years ago in high school and middle school haha! So I could be completely off base, and was honestly just curious from people who are closer than me. Looking forward to more of your content, really enjoyed it.
@@Here_KeatyKeaty9539 If you are going to run Predators then as you suggested would be a solid way to do it. Keep in mind Sicaran Battle tanks and their variants have 4 HP Now, one more than in version 1 of the HH, Preds have 3 HP. I personally rock Sicaran Venatars in a talon of 2. But with that said the WE synergize with the Predators more. So they are a solid choice.

You can use them but it will get expensive.
