Awesome. As stated in the video I'm going to Start a SoH army. Reaver and Justerian combos look like allot of fun. Chain axes themselves are just solid at their base. I think as long as one doesnt go crazy with upgrades they are great. Still even of one does kit them out. Heaps fun unit.
Why do they only get 1 more power fist attack when you double the squad size? Shouldn't they get 16 attacks on the charge with 5-man (non black Reaving) and a 10-man have 31 attacks (non black Reaving) with power fists?
A 5 man squad [BASE] (Without Rage 2 or Hammer of Wrath from Jump packs etc). Vanilla . The Chefton (SGT) gets 3 Attacks base. then one for the charge and one extra for the pistol in assault special rule, A total of 5 Attacks. The four more models with 2 attacks base + 1 for the charge and then + 1 for the Pistol assault special rule. So 5 + 4 x4 == 21 Attacks. NOT on the Charge they get the same as they have counter attack (1) so even when your not charging you still get that extra attack. But yes they must have a power fist and Pistol equipped.
@@CommandCentreWargaming you don't get the bonus attack with pistol and power fist as the power fist is a specialist weapon. You have to have 2 specialist weapons to get the bonus for 2 weapons.
@Dracus40k yeah for some reason while doing the video I thought the Pistols when in assault counted as a specialist weapon. There is no rule that I can see that says they do. Thanks once again.

I run Reavers with mostly chai. Axes, with rage they're pretty solid especially with a chaplain in the unit

My favorite 30k Unit esthetically...but unfortunately 1 of the most overpriced Units in 30k.
They are a bit over priced. My mate tried to use them for Alpha legion lol. There are better options That's the thing. As cool as they are.
best tactics for reavers - don't use this overpriced crap unit.
