Serial killer John Wayne Gacy, also known as the Killer Clown, is a terrible name in the history of the United States of America.
He was known as a man of weak character who lied constantly.
After divorcing his second wife, he began to rape and murder the boys he invited to his home.
He buried 27 of them under and around his house.
He had intercourse with some of his victims before they were killed and with others after.
Known as Pogo the Clown because he dressed as a clown to entertain children while volunteering for a charity.
gacy was convicted on sodomy charges in 1968 but was released on parole in 1970.
Gacy, who was known as a wealthy businessman and a good Catholic, was discovered to have raped and murdered a total of 32 boys when 7 bodies were found in the basement of his home.
He was arrested in 1978, sentenced to death in 1980, and executed by lethal injection in 1994.
The basement of his home was found to contain the remains of dozens of bodies.
He is America's most hated serial killer for targeting children.
