It's hard to believe the lengths some people will go to because they cannot accept natural aging. It is quite sad.
I went grey early and have spent thousands on hair colouring over the years. I didn't bother during lockdown and my hair is now completely silver. Everyone loves it.

Justine Bateman is to be admired for passing up on the Follyweird craze of having so much plastic surgery. If this is indeed how she looks today she's still pretty much eye candy to us older guys that grew up with her. At least with Justine what you see is really her and not some surgeon's idea of what looks right.

Totally agree! I think JB looks great! We should embrace aging bc that means we are still alive and able to love our people, laugh with our people, and try to do something good for this world. There are so many other things to worry about other than what someone looks like and how their aging. Shallow shit has overtaken our society when we need more humility and self awareness. It’s sad that ppl are more concerned with someone’s face rather than human suffering and the fact our country has ppl living in tents by the thousands in some of the wealthiest cities in the USA. In the case of Billy Gardell, "not looking like we remember him" is fantastic! He was physically a ticking time bomb. Now, with his weight under control, diabetes gone and resting heart rate back to normal, he is living a healthier life now. I'd say that type of tradeoff [recognition for super better health] is a no brainer.
I'm happy for Billy but he looks too thin now.

We all get older and our looks change, it’s a part of life. For so many who attempt to “keep” their looks through plastic surgery and other procedures, it almost without exception distorts their looks, instead of enhances them. It’s as though their bodies are rejecting all the chemicals used in these various methods. I admire the individuals who do not succumb to this, and choose to age naturally. Ultimately they still retain their natural beauty.
I don't understand people go get plastic surgery for vain reasons. Most of the time it results in them looking weird and worse than they did.

We all get old unfortunately.
So his resting heart rate was 113. Right now I've packed on about 25 pounds and my resting heart rate is between 55 and 58 and I'm freaking out. I am used to it being between 48 and 49 and I can't even imagine how hard his heart was working when it was at 113. 70 isn't that great but I do realize men have higher resting heart rates but oh my goodness, that is really scary and if I was at 80 bpm, I would feel like I was on deaths door. 😳🥺
And yes, I run. I haven't been, which is why it went up.

We all need to expect the fact that we age.
The younger generation has information about aging. As long as they stay out of the sun or wear sun screen and do a daily regimen of lotion to the skin, they will be fine.
The sun steals youth.
If you have dry skin, when you take a bath, put lotion on before you dry off. Let it soak in. After a couple of weeks you will notice that your skin is fantastic.
A friend that I worked with told me this trick, because I couldn’t get my skin smooth no matter what I did. It seriously works. I used Eucerin lotion. It’s the best lotion on the market. I am not making this up.
Don’t forget your neck, your eyes too. Use a night cream.
When you’re 19 years old you need to start this and do this every single day. Otherwise you will wake up one day and you will not recognize the woman in the mirror. I am not joking. It sneaks up on you. Drink tons of water on a daily basis. That’s very, very important. You don’t think about it when you are young because your skin is young. It won’t be if you don’t take a proactive attempt now. Be kind to you.
I gave up because I was depressed about life. I don’t want anyone to feel sad about the way they look. Just take care at a young age. Your hair, your teeth, your skin and your nails. Take care of these now. Continue and you will be fine.
And don't smoke. That will age you also.

A lot of these ‘celebrities’ have done these things to themselves! Plastic surgeries will eventually leaving you looking like something alien. You choose alcohol or drugs as your daily living, expect there to be painful and horrid consequences to that. If you suffer mental health or medical issues, you will likely suffer the consequences of drugs and medications you take. Unfortunately you have to show some semblance of beauty and youth in order to get parts in movies or tv, therefore you are required to have procedures done. I love the fact that Justine decided she was fine the way she looks and didn’t crater to social beliefs……she is beautiful. Influencers are also a leading cause of nasty things happening, not all of them are doing good with their influencing, some is downright disgusting and harmful. Just simply aging is the only way to go….you look natural and beautiful or handsome as the case may be. I have no sympathy for those that allow social media to run their lives, you get what you deserve. Love yourself and be you.
