I have to agree with Mike Neeves, the guy has years of testing and racing bikes. The Street Triple has no vices, it's the most refined bike I've ever ridden, absolutely smooth under all conditions.
i have just purchased the Z800 and agree with what the MCN lads say its a brilliant bike and puts a massive smile on your face. I have never rode a bike this good before and the only problem I have with it is I do not ever want to get off it!
I really really like how Kawasaki lets the Z800 present itself! Even though its a Naked bike, you can tell they really thought the presentation of the bike through! With its Gorgeous Motor sitting there like its sitting in a picture frame all nice and clean and on purpose! To me personally, the Z800 is definitely the best looking of them all!! Second would be Street Triple, Third... MV Agusta,
Thank you for making these videos Ive been watching MCN for about 7 years, and really love triumph as a brand especially the street triple, an I'm happy to hear it's still going strong. keep up the great work.
I feel proud to own a Triumph Street Triple. British bike. These others are imitation Street Fighters IMO. The Triumph is a true Street Fighter to the core as it's based on a real racing chassis. The others are trying to be both Motard and Street Fighter. Triumph got the Formula right the first time.
Kip Kipper I love that motard riding position! Currently riding a MT03 one cylinder, with is a girly bike but because of its amazing torque in the lower gearing range and the motard position i wheelie it like a mad man, highway wheelies, 12 o' clock, trowing my leg over the steering wheel that position is amazing! I am really looking forward to buying an MT09, for that little extra power i now miss, and i'm glad it has that motardish position. Bike feels AMAZING light by the way so it does also feel like one!
Kip Kipper well, there are many people that would argue with you that ANY of the bikes in this test (or any that come from the factory) are streetfighters. I'm not sure that any of them are trying to be streetfighters, nor should they.
Test rode the MT-09 earlier today and all I can say is what an amazing bike! Of course I'm a bit biased by not having ridden any of the others (the only other "big" bike I've ridden is XJ6) but MT-09 just felt natural from the moment I got on. The torque is insane at all speeds and in all gears, handling is nimble for someone inexperienced like me, brakes are good, suspension is just right. But like I said, I'm probably biased after having put down a deposit for one :)
Really great review MCN. It really did feature real-world relevant data that riders want to know and none of the rubbish we're used to being fed to fluff out these kind of videos. eg, bike specs we can read on any manufacturers webpage etc. LOVE YOUR WORK!
Thank for this. I’m looking at getting a Z900. I have a ZZR600 custom. But now I’m thinking of adding to my bikes a Z900 After getting rid of my Triumph Street twin.
maximus10463yes and no .. the build quality is really bad and it'S not only the rear suspension but the front forks that need to be changed .. in america it's not available with any kind of electronics .. it's the cheapest of the bunch but you get what you pay for .. if you want to make it on par with a street triple it will cost you the same in the end..
It's okay watching these reviews from magazines and test riders, but you never actually know until you ride one yourself, it's like reading a review on a new film that came out, the reviewer said it was terrible, but then you go and watch it and think it's great! Everyone's got there own likes and interest, don't get arsey over some review, go out and see for yourself! :)
twitchy throttle on the mt-09 (fz-09 here in the states) has been worked out through new ecu mapping, but yes the suspension is utter garbage. pretty easy to remedy by swapping rear shock (done cheap by repurposing from older sportbikes) and front forks with revalve / spring kits. here in the states the price difference between mt-09 (fz-09) and street triple is NOT £200, but $4200. so in the US, the fz-09 is still a better buy, even having to spend the extra on suspension mods. if you're in the uk, however, the street triple would be a better buy.
If the triumph is so great, why don't I see more around? I can count on one hand how many I've seen up close. But MCN is always going to make TRIUMPH the winner every time.
Exactly.. Triumph just doesn't have quite the production capacity Honda / Suzuki / Yamaha etc have. So naturally if they don't put out as many, you won't see as many. But owning a Triumph Daytona 675R myself I can tell you (in my own personal option) it is the better motorcycle than others in its class. Better handling, build quality and overall performance (yes, a gsxr 750 will beat it in a straight line..) I have had a Japanese sport bike before the Triumph and they are great bikes but I just felt the Triumph was a notch above them. More mature and "classy" somehow.
I own a MT-09 and since we're talking about stock bike of course, I agree with the conclusion. I never had the chance to test a Z800 and also I don't like it so I never put it into my possible choice rack which was composed basically by Speed Triple 2010, Street Triple 2013 and Mt-09. I discarded the Speed Triple because it's too heavy and too powerful for me so the real heat has been between Mt and ST. I ended up on the MT-09 because it looks better for me, even if it feels al little cheap compared with the ST and also I loved the riding stand from the first second and the half-way bike philosophy. At the end, I recognize that the suspension are almost crap and someone can argue about the On-off of the gas but with the 2000€ I saved to buy It, I will change the suspension with a MUPO kit and I think it becomes the best bike of the set.
i have a z800 as well and im not so overwelmed by it... when u ride it sportive on smaller countryroads and high in rev u shift down it shakes his ass... I was wonderin if any of u also have this? and above 6000rpm it vibrates quite a lot as well
The Mt comes with an adjustable suspension and you can also fix some of the throttle probs by just clicking a few times at the bikes lcd buttons...so not really good reasons for putting it 3rd
I got the z800 to 144mph!! Norm hits 140 super smooth and loved the bike it is heavier going around the corners but can power out make you feel happy too!! The torque is all that it has got in the Yamaha looks cheap and it's a shame wish they gave it more it would be even better imagine better brakes better suspensions and more fined looks would make it win. Even the weighty z800 feels lighter when it goes you don't feel the weight and has great chassis when it moving shame it has that much weight but still better then mt09. Triple is quality fact!!
Just purchased a 2013 Brutale 800 in the UK in 2019... despite what this review says, I dare you to go and ride one. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, a vehicle needs floors/imperfection for you to love it like you would a human (no one is perfect). To me, that’s what my MV is. Makes me very excited every time I ride it and I can’t stop looking back at it when I get off. I know it’s less reliable and parts take forever to come but somehow I don’t care. I can’t say I’d be like this with the other bikes... subjective of course though and I appreciate that. I do feel however that this upload gives the Brutale a hard time.
I test rode an MT-09 a few days ago. It's very powerful, pulls like a train. Apart from this my street triple R is better in every other regard. Way smoother on-off the throttle, much lighter, better riding position and those nissin radials are perhaps the best brakes I'v tried on a bike, and I've tired a few.
Agreed. STR3 is the best middleweight triple, but Yamaha are aiming for the supermoto crowd (or those that think they want a supermoto but want something that is a little more practical). Hence suspension and throttle mapping are set up like this.
I've not long had my street triple 13 model.amazing bike it flatters the rider.but is so much fun! No point in having a 200mph crotch rocket because you can't use it all on the road.perfect bike.
I kinda wish I had the ability to own any one of these bikes other than an MT-09. It's the one I'm getting. Living in the US, Triumph doesn't have the dealer network needed to compete here, the Z800 isn't available here (only Z1000), and the MV is... well, expensive and has a dealer network so small it's not even worth mentioning. It's nice to see a real comparison and see where it stands, but at the end of the day for many of us it's still the only option.
Here's what I've done to it: Penske 8983 rear shock, front fork springs and 7.5 wt oil, and an ECU flash. And it's absolutely AMAZING now. Still less invested than the cost of a Street Triple R. Now though it will destroy one. I don't regret it.
old video but hey what the heck... sooo many yamaha fanboys hating in the comments. goes to show the level of intellect and maturity yamaha riders have.
That says more about a riding ability quirk you have than the bikes. If you can't push your FZ faster through curves than a bike with a better chassis, brakes, and suspension, you need to ride more.
Not surprised! Triumph Street Triple is awesome! Kawasaki Z800 is really good too. Now with the 900 it's even better. Disappointed in the MV Agusta Brutale if this review is anything to go by... Yamaha XSR900 doesn't have the throttle issue that the MT-09 does and I really dig the XSR900!
Ok I know this video was some years ago, but I just got a used 2013 Triumph Street triple S. She only had 1800 miles on it and never been in the rain. I love this bike, it's incredible and so fun to ride. It's my first street bike but I know a good bike when I sit on it. I have road dirt all my life and love dirt riding I have a 2018 KTM 500 exc-f. I'm starting to get used to the feel of the Trumph it is surprisingly different than a dirt our dual sport bike. I think it's still the best out there in terms of rideability and quality of build. I have thought about the 2020 Triumph but DAM my bike rides so sweet. I have thought about changing up the front sprocket and drop it a tooth. Just to give it a little more torque on the bottom end, okay make it a little easier to get a front wheel up. LoL from Freddy in North Carolina cheers and Merry Christmas.
I've watched and read a lot of reviews MCN have done and certainly don't agree with a lot of the moans I've just read on the comments below. Why do people have to moan all the time about someones opinion, hell fire I own a MT-01 and that gets slated all the time for being slow, but it's a fantastic bike if thats what you like. Unlike some of the narrow minded comments below I don't think MCN are biased to Triumph or have a downer on the MT-09 they are just giving their opinion. Well done MCN
Yeah but it's not. Triumph genuinely make some class leading bikes, and most motorcycle media agree, as do customer sales. Just because MCN are british, and they approve strongly of a few of the recent Triumphs bikes, it doesn't mean there's some national motorcycling conspiracy going on.
I do have to agree that the streeple is that good. I own one and a ducati diavel and when riding around with my buddy in not able to pass up the streeple until we both get to triple digits, same story for him when I'm the one riding it. She's soo nimble and flickable
The most comical comments are about the MV as Neeves is testing the MV Rivale, which has the same chassis, engine, wheels, suspension and electronic package as the Brutale version, yet this one handles amazing, the fueling is on par with the Truimph and he couldn't find fault with it at all.
Is it your opinion that the brakes on the MT-09 would be greatly improved simply with SS brake lines? Also how much time was spent on tuning suspension between the bikes? Or are they all factory set? I think we can all agree that what really shines with the Yamaha is that brilliant engine and the price tag! Great comparison and review. Cheers
I'd still take the MT-09 unless we comparing to the Triumph Speed triple. New 2020 Street triple does have absolutely beautiful styling! Yamaha still kicks ass when factoring in price.
BHP are limited to 85 here in Brazil, but i love even more my Triumph Street Triple R! I can do 0 to 100 km/h, brake and stop in 120 metres... Fuel consumption varies between 26 km/l (60 MPG) @ 60km/h in 6th gear and 7 km/l (16 MPG) @ 234 km/h in obvious 6th gear.
I agree with 99% of you said. But the engine cover IS a design flaw. Regardless if riding with or without proper gear. It simply sticks out and it hits you leg. I've ridden xt660. Speed triple. Drz. Srad. Even Harley and none of them had this issue.
Never rode a Triumph, if it's that great I really need to try one. I loved the MT-09 though, so yea, can't really comment until I try the Triumph..Nice test-ish ;-)
this is my dilemma right now between the Yamaha and the Triumph. The Yamaha is definitely way too soft in the suspension setup but that can be fixed with approx $1000 worth of parts. I'll be riding them both again back to back later this week.
Actually I loved both but the new insurance rating which made the Yamaha 4 times more expensive than my current zx6r and 7 times more expensive than the triumph has sealed it's fate. Great deal but in the long run its just too expensive for the running costs, it's cheaper to insure a Ducati...
Alex Martin Gosh where do you live Alex? So your choice is the Triumph then? I hope it isn't to harsh over here in Belgium haha. I am buying the Triumph next year. The only thing i am worried about is, that i think it would be hard to sell because Triumph is not a famous brand like Yamaha, Kawasaki or Honda for instance.
Ilias Joels Resale isn't a problem here in the USA and the triumphs hold their value pretty well. I'm still deciding, Triumph is at the top spot right now but i do want to ride the hypermotard also just to see which style i prefer. You will love the street triple, i would definitely check insurance rates prior to making a decision, i had my mind set on the yamaha but the insurance is stupid for such a cheap bike.
Alex Martin Let me know what you choose. Triumphs aren't popular here in Belgium but it's one of the best bike that i can ride with the A2 license. Thanks for reminding me that. I will definitely check for the insurance rates.
NOPE.I mean,I love you fellas,I love triumphs and all but it is starting to get lame. The triple is a boring bike,10 hps and awfully lotof nms weaker than mt, looks like a cheap speed3 wannabe, hard to maintain, greedy- dont know this model but the old 675 was- and expensive. And you are all road racing oriented;soft suspension is always on the cons for you.Well,we naked guys sometimes like it soft, you know? And that stiff feelingless-long front shocks?Well it may be bad for kneebenders but for us people who are looking for some soft wheelies and comfort on paved roads it is actually very balanced, not to forget the fact that tank slappers will be more hard to come. In a price quality match I would pick the MT 09 anyday. If it is quality and track days I would pick the Z 800. Dont know agustas but that weird styling and looks are kinda attactive. But I believe the Rivale is the bike that had to be here.
Can't believe i didn't see this video yet, great review. Could not agree more. That STR is just a giant killer. Can you imagine what it could be like if Triumph also made a 800cc middle weight version? Also, I know it's an older model but i would have like to see how the Ducati Streetfighter 848 did in this comparison?
From just an engine performance standpoint is the 09 as punchy and quick as the Brutale 800? If anyone has ridden both, please comment if possible. Thanks
MT09 hands down...Best engine of the lot with it's monster torque, the triple sounds amazing and it's by far the most playful and fun. Snatchy throttle is sorted out with the $100 O2 sensor mod and suspension fixed by swapping the ZX10R shock ($250) which is a straight fit. I've added drop bars to mine and it's unreal on the track
***** $7,990 USD - MT09 61.5lb @ 8480rpm $11,998 USD - Brutale 55.5lb @ 8940rpm These figures are from Cycle World test which I would take the word of over someone on RUclips. So the Brutale is slower, less torque and way more expensive.
a) Stop using capitals b) I'll believe Cycle World (and numerous other documented comparisons) over you. c) GSX-S1000 is a... 1000cc so has no place in the discussion
Then why does every magazine hype up the MT-09 like its amazing? Every time I open a mag all's I see are rave reviews on how good this bike is. I looked at one at the dealers when it first came out. The instrument section looks cheep, small and non-existent
Your review realy help me. First choice of mine is brutale, because i love the tork and the looking. But overall, i think brutale is not the best choice. Now will study a bit about z800
right i also know a comment that goes by from bike show, an most dont know until they test ride, also lots dont worry about what others ride unless its there level!
+Andrew Willcox yeah they have fix the issues and the street triple is still the same and they have not improve it where the brutale has improved and has gotten way better just test ride man and you will see
Im in the US and have the FZ09 and did 145MPH. also Disagree with the throttle being jerky. The only thing is yes suspension is soft but lets face it you are driving on the road 95% of the time and its the best suspension you can have for that. Comfortable and not stiff. Unless you are a track person. So the winner is the FZ09 . I have ridden all these bikes and ehhhhhhh. Triumph is a great bike but needs a little more power to keep the fun or 675CC vs 850CC... Also the three modes make it more versatile and gives it personality. Also the price sais it all
You can always adjust suspension.... You can't adjust an engine though. I'd rather the Yamaha any day. Better engine, cheaper to buy and maintain also insurance would also an cheaper. If I spent the money saved on performance the Yamaha would be something amazing.
this was a very good review. too bad about the mt-09 (fz 09 in usa) I want that middle weight naked bike category to become popular here but almost all options are ridiculous priced sportbikes not everyone can afford with the bottomless hole of high insurance that comes with it!
How did you only get the Street Triple up to 131mph? Cycleworld got 142mph and just recently I was able to clock 148mph on my bone stock 2014 Striple R
Definitely. Beating the street triple at its own game on the first go, with a lower pricetag is a tall order. I doubt that was even Yamaha's goal. It seems their focus was on the engine first and then putting something out that could compete with the striple at a lower pricepoint, which they have achieved and lots of people are picking them up. It will only get better as they sort out the kinks so watch out Triumph.
The guy who said about MT as "most exciting bike for decade" set MT below Kawi? Then, Brits are No.1? No way, gimme a break. MCN should fix measurement factor for every bikes like German MOTORRAD, at least. Otherwise, they can pick and choose measurement factor as they want in order to let the Brit bike be as #1. This looks so unfair and limited point of view. Almost like Harley magazine in U.S.
One Brothers Productions dude mt-09 has a very good price 8000€ (8800 w/ abs) but actually the street triple has two versions. there is street triple abs - 8400€ and there is street triple r abs - 10.500€. Z800 costs 9000 (9500 w/ abs) and brutale 13000. I think ,considering your options including prices, maybe the mt comes above z800 but for
One Brothers Productions Where I live, comparing an Mt09 to a street triple is like comparing an 8500€ bike to an 8600€ one. Yes, I wrote that correctly, 100€ difference. So this review is just what it is, comparing motorcycles regardless of their price.

Where I live the triumph is 2 grand more than the Yamaha, so I'd still go with the FZ-09 (MT-09) with a few mods to sort out the bugs.
Thank you for making these videos Ive been watching MCN for about 7 years, and really love triumph as a brand especially the street triple, an I'm happy to hear it's still going strong. keep up the great work.
World Exclusive Group Test!
MT-09 vs its rivals in the first 'real-world' group test of the new 3 cylinder from Yamaha!
Goooo Streety! :)
I feel proud to own a Triumph Street Triple. British bike. These others are imitation Street Fighters IMO. The Triumph is a true Street Fighter to the core as it's based on a real racing chassis. An MCN review thats not in the rain :)
We considered the 848 Streetfighter, but it's much more powerful and expensive than the bikes we have here - it's a class above, really. Neevesy, MCN.
The MV is a piece of art. It's not about riding it, it's about looking good on it.
I love the Kawasaki Z bikes. Great looks, sound great and perform surprisingly well in comparisons...
Thank for this. I’m looking at getting a Z900. I have a ZZR600 custom. But now I’m thinking of adding to my bikes a Z900 After getting rid of my Triumph Street twin.
@@kushsakhu go to dealership to sit on one. I'm 6ft1in, and do not fit z900 very well. Z1000 like a glove 🙂 it's a bit bigger bike.
@@czierwo Thanks for the tip. Good advice especially as I like both bikes.
The Yamaha still the fastest bike, put an aftermarket shock in the back and you have the best bike of the bunch

The Triumph is maybe the best bike to ride, but i hate the looks of it. I think i will go for a black Z800.
wich i own :))) and is marvel

It's the most common bike I see on the road these days... They must be very good. (Never ridden one)
james hamm There are loads of them around here, probably one of the most common modern naked middle weights (i.e. excluding old Hornets etc.).
Full story and performance data in MCN - on sale now, or on iPad/Android. Cheers Neevesy, MCN
Great review once again Neeves! You do great reports mate.

striple. Fastest to start, fastest to stop, best sound, lightest. love mine, not surprised it won. Love it, and i aint no Brit!
I bought a street triple four month ago and I'm everyday surprised.... The best bike I ever own.... :-)

It's nice to see a real comparison and see where it stands, but at the end of the day for many of us it's still the only option.
AnklebiterTypeR how has the Yamaha MT-09 been one year down the road? Would you recommend it?
Here's what I've done to it: Penske 8983 rear shock, front fork springs and 7.5 wt oil, and an ECU flash. And it's absolutely AMAZING now. Still less invested than the cost of a Street Triple R. Now though it will destroy one. I don't regret it.
Let's be honest, this is the nut case class
old video but hey what the heck... sooo many yamaha fanboys hating in the comments. goes to show the level of intellect and maturity yamaha riders have.
Hi. Triumph owner here. So, does Triumph actually pay you to make them win in every comparison you do or...?
just curious if they adjusted the suspension? i now ride my fz09 faster than my gsxr in the curves.
That says more about a riding ability quirk you have than the bikes. If you can't push your FZ faster through curves than a bike with a better chassis, brakes, and suspension, you need to ride more.
opmike343 its more about riding one more than the other and constantly switching riding positions. I have a gsxr, fz09, and z125 pro
Such a great, short, to the point video 👍👌🫡
Do they sell the triumphs in the USA? I am looking to start riding and this style of bike has lots of appeal on me...
LoL
from Freddy in North Carolina cheers and Merry Christmas.
The music on this video is sick!!
Need an update group test with all the new bikes!
I'm at 4:30 and the fz09 just got 3rd. Fair enough. Why do I think the Triumph will take first place.....? 🤔
😐 when you hate being right.
Hello, Looks nice. trail bless What do you think, guys?
Is it your opinion that the brakes on the MT-09 would be greatly improved simply with SS brake lines?
Also how much time was spent on tuning suspension between the bikes? Or are they all factory set?
I think we can all agree that what really shines with the Yamaha is that brilliant engine and the price tag!
Great comparison and review. Cheers
I'd still take the MT-09 unless we comparing to the Triumph Speed triple. New 2020 Street triple does have absolutely beautiful styling! Yamaha still kicks ass when factoring in price.
thanks for the vid!
Brutale for me is the best: she is a raging bull and I love it!!! A real bike for real bikers
Never rode a Triumph, if it's that great I really need to try one.
I loved the MT-09 though, so yea, can't really comment until I try the Triumph..Nice test-ish ;-)
I just bought the MT09 and perhaps should have tried before the street triple, but that won me the yamaha
this is my dilemma right now between the Yamaha and the Triumph. The Yamaha is definitely way too soft in the suspension setup but that can be fixed with approx $1000 worth of parts. I'll be riding them both again back to back later this week.
What was your choice?
147 mph on my 2016 Z800 with puig screen.
That's not exactly surprising, coming from MCN.
yup... basicly is: "we like British bikes and hate Italian bikes"
Most playful and fun wins it for me! The MT09 is a 'mouth wide open with the throttle' bike and for me is a close second.
*****
$7,990 USD - MT09 61.5lb @ 8480rpm
$11,998 USD - Brutale 55.5lb @ 8940rpm
These figures are from Cycle World test which I would take the word of over someone on RUclips.
So the Brutale is slower, less torque and way more expensive.
a) Stop using capitals
b) I'll believe Cycle World (and numerous other documented comparisons) over you.
c) GSX-S1000 is a... 1000cc so has no place in the discussion
***** www.cycleworld.com/2013/10/10/yamaha-fz-09-vs-triumph-street-triple-r-vs-mv-agusta-brutale-800-comparison-test-review-specs-photos
All dyno tested with video and dyno figures ...Now STFU
The problem with the triumph is that is ugly as fuck. Great bike, but Wtf with those lights and that seat...
+Fernando “PUNKYMEFISTO” Montiel so true man! ugly fucking headlights!
+Fernando „PUNKYMEFISTO“ Montiel - that's the reason why I would never buy a Triumph naked. ...oh sry ... I mean a naked Triumph ;-)
Well, the British aren't known for their beauty so you can't really blame them
That was back in 2013, now 2 (almost 3) years later how is the comparaison standing??
one review said something about the start button? that it integrated into the kill switch or something like that. anyone know?
I did 139mph with my MT-09 in france, and due to french restrictions, I don't have full horse power
I have a street Triple ´13 and is best bike I had mount....;)
Then why does every magazine hype up the MT-09 like its amazing?
Every time I open a mag all's I see are rave reviews on how good this bike is. I looked at one at the dealers when it first came out. The instrument section looks cheep, small and non-existent
hi I tinking bike 09 is good bike or not?
Your review realy help me. First choice of mine is brutale, because i love the tork and the looking. But overall, i think brutale is not the best choice. Now will study a bit about z800
right i also know a comment that goes by from bike show, an most dont know until they test ride, also lots dont worry about what others ride unless its there level!
should do another review 2016 street triple vs brutale and the winner well be brutale this year for sure
A few people saying that. I'll have to go and have a try...you know...for research
+Andrew Willcox yeah they have fix the issues and the street triple is still the same and they have not improve it where the brutale has improved and has gotten way better just test ride man and you will see
The street triple R does have better brakes and adjustable suspension. So you would have to compare it to that one.
MCN make this type of review this year too (street triple 765,fz07,z900,z650,monster 797 etc) *_*
^_+
Im in the US and have the FZ09 and did 145MPH. also Disagree with the throttle being jerky. The only thing is yes suspension is soft but lets face it you are driving on the road 95% of the time and its the best suspension you can have for that. Comfortable and not stiff. Unless you are a track person. So the winner is the FZ09 . I have ridden all these bikes and ehhhhhhh. Triumph is a great bike but needs a little more power to keep the fun or 675CC vs 850CC... Also the three modes make it more versatile and gives it personality. Also the price sais it all
thank you
You can always adjust suspension.... You can't adjust an engine though. I'd rather the Yamaha any day. Better engine, cheaper to buy and maintain also insurance would also an cheaper. If I spent the money saved on performance the Yamaha would be something amazing.
"such nice weather"
"yes indeed"
(Allways rain )
this was a very good review. too bad about the mt-09 (fz 09 in usa) I want that middle weight naked bike category to become popular here but almost all options are ridiculous priced sportbikes not everyone can afford with the bottomless hole of high insurance that comes with it!
What's the name of the second song in this vid?
It looks like. Sensational! bright shape
How did you only get the Street Triple up to 131mph? Cycleworld got 142mph and just recently I was able to clock 148mph on my bone stock 2014 Striple R
+Adam Kelnhofer Speedo reading aren't the real speed, there never right
+shakennstirred they are not that far off, though.
+joshuamoore13 yes they are...
You forgot to compare wheelie capabilities!
Did this include the street triple R?
This is the regular street triple, the R is going to be better because of the better 4 piston front brakes, and fully adjustable suspension.
I am agree ,street triple is the best 💪
The guy who said about MT as "most exciting bike for decade" set MT below Kawi?
Then, Brits are No.1? No way, gimme a break.
MCN should fix measurement factor for every bikes like German MOTORRAD, at least.
Otherwise, they can pick and choose measurement factor as they want in order to let the Brit bike be as #1.
This looks so unfair and limited point of view. Almost like Harley magazine in U.S.
I really don't expected that the Triumph would suceed above the MV. Nice test!
love z800 FOREVER...
measured with GPS ?
NO mention of price... wow. dishonest review.
They are comparing the bikes in terms of handling, power, braking and so on. It's up to you to buy what you can afford.
One Brothers Productions dude mt-09 has a very good price 8000€ (8800 w/ abs) but actually
the street triple has two versions. there is street triple abs - 8400€ and there is street triple r abs - 10.500€. Z800 costs 9000 (9500 w/ abs) and brutale 13000. I think ,considering your options including prices, maybe the mt comes above z800 but for
***** no reason i would put it above the street triple
One Brothers Productions Where I live, comparing an Mt09 to a street triple is like comparing an 8500€ bike to an 8600€ one. Yes, I wrote that correctly, 100€ difference. So this review is just what it is, comparing motorcycles regardless of their price.
I love my street triple best bike I've owned
