Finally a useful review/comparison that takes into account real life riding as well as track performance. I chose to follow my heart and sacrifice comfort so ride the MV. Your video is spot on!
There is a long discussion as to why exactly the throttle response is laggy and abrupt at times. Check the product page under UPGRADE on MV's site for latest version. The new F range update is expected on 10 September for F3, F4 and F4 RR. Hopefully the B3 will be updated as well (or soon afterwards)
Excellent comparo review!!! You two guys are probably the best head to head bike reviewers on the net. Keep up the great work. .. The Italians are going to have to do a lot more, to sway me away from Japanese engineering. Good luck pizanos.
For practical use Z800, but who needs to worry about that when you can show of with a MV. I like how at 3:54 mark how the guy who should be picking up trash just throws it back into the bushes. Guess it was to big or heavy to carry ;-)
Love the look on the MV looks very high end, but i think the Z800 will cost you lesson parts and service on the long run. Also the MV gotten very bad reviews on the Europe bike shows. All and all if i had to choose i would take the Z800, i have the GSR600 which is a naked bike, i have no issues with wind over 140 besides it doing more than speed limit anyway. Naked bikes is getting more popular, but slowly.
lly cool video... definitelly the agusta is better... but also the price difference is huge, so kawasaki mighyt be the option to go... also... doing track day with no protection??? wow... thats hardcore
yep, but it doesnt change anything, MV Agusta calls itself Brutale 800 the naked bike, and if u dont know there is no such a class called "streetfighter", this name has one of Ducati models, Ducati Streetfighter, and its also called naked bike. If u dont trust me go and google then.
Nice video comparison but the BIG question (for me) remains: Have MV sorted the fuelling on this bike yet? I'm close to ordering one but, with no demos available here in the UK yet, it's a question i need answering........from somewhere.......
MrLitschii Aswell as other (less adjustable) dampers. And only 2-Piston brakecylinders in the front. The non-E version has three pistons. Kawasaki released the E-Version because of new laws in the EU wich says, that if you are under the age of 24 (or have less than 2 years of driving experience while being under 24yrs old), you must drive the bike throttled to 35kW/48hp. In some regions in the EU you must not drive a bike wich has more than twice the power when it is not throttled anymore. Means 95hp / 2 = 47,5hp = You are allowed to drive everywhere you want. If you have the non-E wich has 113hp: 113 / 2 = 56hp = You have more than twice the power of which you had, when your bike is throttled, so you can only drive in germany, but not elsewhere in the EU, like italy, danmark... Thtats why Kawasaki built the z800e. It's just a bike for EU laws.
Crophixx thank you but i know the facts cause I own a e-version i just didn't want to go in detail too much ;) and you are allowed to drive this bike everywhere!! only the A2 drivinglicense is limited to a few countries
Witch one cost the most to service, and how often do they need servicing, and what is the fuel useage for them both ? Little info was given, and more jibber jabber.
The only thing you should learn: The Z800 is already outdated with its weight of 231kg vs Brutale (190kg) vs MT09 (192kg) vs street triple (190kg) vs Duke 790 (187kg).
Z800 is everything it's supposed to be, it's not trying to be a supersport, it's a street fighter. Gearing and seat position is great for around town, it was way ahead on everything realistic. At the track is pointless, why would you even have that in the comparison? California Superbike School have S1000RR's to hire, if you want a track bike either buy one or hire it on the day.
Yeah. Most people use their bike 99% on the road, not on tracks, so I do not get the point of the old dude. Probably he was just playing the bias badass.
bad review imo, yeah sure de z800 is quiet (stock!), take another exhaust and its loud as hell.boring? yeah if you drive it like a grandpa it might be.
kledder2 Why wouldn't it matter? Do you think the Lamborghini cars would be better if it was built by machine? I highly doubt that. The MV Agusta is way more exclusive than any other brand on the market as I said, why is it so hard to understand?
kledder2 Worth mentioning is that I don't like any other bike more than another but MW Agusta is defenitely someting else than Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki etc. no matter how much the other bikes costs. If you have the opportunity to see one for yourself you'll understand what I'm talking about.
How it's installed doesn't effect performance as long as it's installed right. And both humans and robots can do that right. Exclusivity doesn't effect performance so it's irrelevant to your argument in your first reply. Both Kawasaki and Agusta have good build quality but the are for a total different experience. To describe the difference I would rather say they have a different design rather than speaking of build quality.
Weird comparison. I see people push the 800 to the fucking limits. It's freaking fast and they drag knees every corner? Lol reviews make me overthink which bike i need to buy.
Finally a useful review/comparison that takes into account real life riding as well as track performance. I chose to follow my heart and sacrifice comfort so ride the MV. Your video is spot on!
8 years later, Kawasaki still runs, MV has 12 times broken down lol!
TWO BEAUTIFUL BEASTS!!
Excellent show and review ! Now bring more
Nice to see you back!!!
I really want to get the MV Agusta (Nice Video more please !)
great show, Im glad I found this channel

You guys do great reviews and comparos, kudos!! I love naked/street fighter bikes!
Excellent comparo review!!!
You two guys are probably the best head to head bike reviewers on the net.
Keep up the great work.

EPIC COMPARO MAN BEEN WAITING LONG!
For practical use Z800, but who needs to worry about that when you can show of with a MV. I like how at 3:54 mark how the guy who should be picking up trash just throws it back into the bushes. Guess it was to big or heavy to carry ;-)
Nice review. Hope you'll be covering the all new Yamaha MT-09 as well later on. Seems like a worthy opponent for these two.

You guys went into the track without full leathers? :O
More like this!!! Good job guys
B3 800 is F3 800 without fairing, so it's streetfighter.
if you buy the MV, buy another seat base and a couple of gel pads. The ride is great but like sitting on a brick
I'll take one of each!
lly cool video... definitelly the agusta is better... but also the price difference is huge, so kawasaki mighyt be the option to go... also... doing track day with no protection??? wow... thats hardcore
Ricardo Ceron Thats what i was thinking, where is the race suits?
DJ Vendetta Well definitely these guys are experienced piots... but you know... you can never be too careful in these beasts
yep, but it doesnt change anything, MV Agusta calls itself Brutale 800 the naked bike, and if u dont know there is no such a class called "streetfighter", this name has one of Ducati models, Ducati Streetfighter, and its also called naked bike. If u dont trust me go and google then.

I'm close to ordering one but, with no demos available here in the UK yet, it's a question i need answering........from somewhere.......
the price is to close to choose the quacker just on reliability, its got to be the mv as everyones choice..
I hope you had leathers underneath those jeans? I was cringing at the track bit.
they're probably Kevlar
Great review
Best way to compare by teasing each other😛😂😂
whats wrong with fueling on the Brutale?
ok...so I have no idea where they are at in the beginning of the video. Where is that?
***** Pretoria central
Narise Roodt thanks!
"the MV is a bit too hardcore" with its traction control?
Does anyone know what kind of bike boots the dude on the MV is wearing!?
MV is for rich guys who ride their bikes on weekend. Z800 can be use as transportation and work horse. comfortably
Did you wear Levis or Diesel jeans for your test?
Hows he riding with no license plate on the brutale? would get pulled in an instant here
MV is THE winner , no dought , I own the Brutale 1090RR and wow !!! The better bike I ever ride
Keep in mind THIS IS Z800E the cheeper version of the Z800 wich is the cheeper Version of the Z1000 :)
no it´s not!!! This is the z800 111hp with the under fairing. The z800E got 97 hp without the fairing and less torque.
How do you know? I thought its the e because of the painting!
Tim Burkhardt the e version has another painting and just 95 hp
MrLitschii

Well i prefer z800.. Beside the cheaper prize it has 4 cylinders 😘❤️❤️❤️❤️😘❤️
so what?
I have a sense that they tested Z800e but not Z800
Why would you get the MV Agusta when it's a sport bike without the fairings? At least the Z800 does not have a split personality disorder.
MV has a few nice extra toys on it, like t.c and abs... Hmmm!
what is the currency they mention?
A_______A The country is South Africa so the currency is Rand - Roughly R13 to 1USD
All time Japan !
Brutale.
electronics and an italian bike, hmmmm I sence breakdowns :P
z800 quite? take out the stock exhaust and see how quite it is
0:47 Black dude is like WTF is goingo on :)
He's waiting to steal one
THEGobLinGaMer Yes, yes it does.
+Jebus no it dosent he may think i want one but not oh im gonna steal this shit
+THEGobLinGaMer no hes already planning how to steal it
+Jebus youre just a racist shit
Z800 (Y) !
Witch one cost the most to service, and how often do they need servicing, and what is the fuel useage for them both ? Little info was given, and more jibber jabber.
Z800 yeess
mv no number plate?
MV ROCKS
I still love Z800
Z800 - naked bike
Brutale 800 - streetfighter
What I learnt from the video is: MV AUGUSTA BRUTALE for the old guys, KAWASAKI Z800 for the younger ones. Well, I am not an old guy.
The only thing you should learn: The Z800 is already outdated with its weight of 231kg vs Brutale (190kg) vs MT09 (192kg) vs street triple (190kg) vs Duke 790 (187kg).
love z800 forever
Z800 has adjustable suspension and 113 hp, while Z800e doesnt...
La z800 es hermosísima pero
La MV siempre será más exclusiva.
As some so cool

instead of being right he is assholelutely right which means he is righter than right he is the rightest. you cant get righter than rightest.
So, the solution is... Triumph street triple r.
Exhaust on the 'saki is hideous.
bad review imo, yeah sure de z800 is quiet (stock!), take another exhaust and its loud as hell.boring? yeah if you drive it like a grandpa it might be.
they are pro
Love the z800..,coz i have one and its the best
Z800
dude is no number plates on augusta :) lol
lfz600 new version
Street Fight! MT-09 vs Z800 vs Street Triple vs Brutale | Group Test | Motorcyclenews.com
Z800 v Brutale... which is best?.....Enough said.....!!!!
At least kawasaki z800 win with the price tag..lol..
Yes but the build quality is less. All MV Agusta bikes are hand built and comparing these two bikes is like comparing a Ferrari with an Audi.
sogmund
How do you know the build quality is less? It doesn't matter if it's hand build or done by a robot.
kledder2 Why wouldn't it matter? Do you think the Lamborghini cars would be better if it was built by machine? I highly doubt that. The MV Agusta is way more exclusive than any other brand on the market as I said, why is it so hard to understand?

MV AGUSTA BRUTALE 800
fz600
คาวาซากิ
Weird comparison. I see people push the 800 to the fucking limits. It's freaking fast and they drag knees every corner? Lol reviews make me overthink which bike i need to buy.
agusta brutale win !
fz 600 nouveau et merci
mv wins
THERE's a lot of black people moving around in that city
maximus10463
His comment is not racist at all. You are just jumping to conclusions. It's merely an observation.
wtf is wrong with alot of black people walking around
Well, they could be riding?
fz600 li drtiha su fb w son meme model layhfdkk
this was a stupid comparison there much different bikes
How reliable is the Mv? 0%😂 buy a kawy
Have you had any? Or just a sad bitch who can’t afford one and does t know shit about reliability?
kawasaki is shity
welcome to the 3rd world...
