- We're testing the Edelbrock Victor II Manifold on this Charger with Baily's Hyperformance 500bhp package. Notice the Dyno comparison after the installation of the Edelbrock Manifold.

its just the price of that intake is crazy.......
Everything edelbrock is severely overpriced
I got a check engine light on my 392 the first month I had it, they said it was an issue with the intake manifold it was a short long runner valve issue, they did a software update which corrected it.
Hey mine has that too!
Is that bad?
A “short long runner valve” 🤔
Why was the second pull ended at 5700 rpm, well short of the first pull (6300 rpm)?
I would rather have my ported 392 with hellcat intake. A good tuner can fix the dip in the stock intake.
I ported the 6.4l my self wuth a 90mm, havent done any 0-60 yet but feels better. Need to hut the track! To test times etc.
Doing the same w my procharged 392 Jeep right now. Would need to fabricate a snout if I were to do the victor - and I feel it could be tuned out also. Porting may actually do it anyway
I heard from one individual that this Victor 2 Intake will fill a catch can full of oil within 1000 miles and actually start to flow into the Intake.
Have you heard anything like this or noticed this Issue at all?
Thanks
I have this intake. 5.7 based stroker and mine is filling fast
I had this intake installed a few weeks ago and yes, oil issues galore
Tunning fixes the drop & changing rpm activation.
What cam is that? 440whp is pretty much what stock 392 cars make. Yet you say yours has headers and a Cam?
I'm cam only, literally only a cam, stock exhaust manifolds, stock cats and a TSP Stage 3 Cam and I make 470whp on a Dyno Jet.
Your tuner can clean that dip up a lot if hes a good tuner. Mine is hardly noticeable at all and I'll gladly back this up with dyno videos and sheets.
I'm considering this intake when I install long tubes shooting for that 500whp mark. Was there any heat soak? How many runs back to back did you make? To back that number up.
Dale Mullens id say that would definitely put you in the 500hp mark they didn’t make this intake look too appealing to me if that’s all they gained it’s definitely not worth the price.
So with the mix of a cam, a forged motor, cold air intake, long tube headers, and this new manifold it only made 448 to the wheel? Is the tune super conservative?
Hi Baily, nice video bro , but I really interested for see numbers on dyno of srt or scat pack changing to E85 you have a nice and big shop if you do a job like this please upload a video, thanks
Have you tested this on a 5.7l Grand Cherokee?
I am curious if one made the low RPM runners extra long and extra wide, and mad the high RPM runners nothing other than trumpets facing the plenum, if one could stretch the torque plateau in both directions.
It's slim pickins out there for Hemis. Sure it all adds up to substantial gains but yeah, hard horsepower.
I remember having a stinkin' 318 in a 12 yo Dart in the early 80's with 90,000miles on it and putting a secondhand twin point on it and a set of secondhand long tubes and a new twin system in place of the manifolds and a single system - and even with that Ball & Ball 2 barrel Carter on it, I reckon it picked up about 70hp+! It was a completely different car. The bottom end torque increase was not quite phenomenal, but well, sort of was. You'd snap the trottle opened and it just this throttle response thing happening.
Those days seem to have gone ...
that's because engines back then, like the 318 were so horrible from the factory, they made like 150 whp at best, so obviously a couple decent parts would wake it up. The Hemis are already making insane power from the factory comparatively speaking, so they are much harder to improve
The plastic intake is more than enough for these cars on a NA setup, this intake Nd the 6.1 intake shine with boost, its the only time you can justify the cost of this
you're smoking really low grade crack. It must be cut with bleach powder. You also have no clue how to make hp without adding forced air like a millennial chump.
@@TheWikkedchef your boyfriend ride you extra hard today champ?
Why didn’t you tune it on up? It looks like it’s still making power. I’ve never had anything on the Dyno where I didn’t find exactly where peak power was. If that’s because of the rev limiter, then raise it up another 500.
We did the test as a straight stock to stock comparison to each other
So this is better than the 6.4 manifold on a 6.4? Have you tested it on a 5.7 Charger
Do you add anything to the kit to help raise the HP, or is it almost a $1000 for an 8HP gain?
There is a lot more to it than "8HP gain" You have a ton more area under the curve now.
justin graham 30ft/lbs of torque gained is hella good too though. More torque will help accelerate faster
It also increases the horsepower and torque potential of future bolt ons like larger throttle body, exhaust, etc. It is worth the money.
Is that just bolt on and go or is it after an air/fuel ratio tune revision? Or was it tuned just to turn off the cel for the mid range runner valve missing?

Not sure why you shut it down so soon? Should be good out to 6500.
Where are you located?
Think your a ways from me.
What compression are you running on that 500hp package on his charger?
Appreciate it!
why not rev to 6000 in the second run? if you're loosing power at the top than this would require a transmission tune to change the shift points.
Stock to stock. Was the test can someone but his manifold install at home and see gains.
You can damn near tune that dip out.
How does the aluminum handle heat soak? Does it make the same kind of power after the engine had been running for an hour with the hood shut like if you were driving to the race track?
For a grand, coupled with the power loss you'll experience with heat soak it isn't worth it!
You can tune it out yes. But the test was done to compare stock to stock.
Heat soak is no worse than the stock 6.1 intake, I have one on a friends 408 5.7 I built 2 years ago , hot lapping at Atco or Island raceway ....No LOSS in times
How do you bypass the active runner from the original intake?.
You can tune the runner out so it doesn't throw codes
To fix the “dip” in the short runners, all you need is a tune... dodge oem intake is far superior to this one. Only way I’ll buy something other than oem is when I want to get forced air.
Exactly. The "Magnum" intake for the Hemi is the one you want. I could be wrong but I think they were on the R/T models - VVT.
I’ve got forced air on my Jeep srt right now was thinking of going this route but fabricating a new snout at the intake seems daunting and the porting of the stock manifold seems sufficient and adding hellcat tb
Is this better the stock 5.7 manifold? And would the tb and cai still fit on that intake manifold
I know this video is kinda old now hopefully you'll see this. But I'm looking to add this to the 5.7 in my 2010 300C and am trying to find out if the Airraid CAI and Moroso catch can I currently have installed will be compatible with this. Mostly the intake, will it need modification? Or is the TB location close enough to stock I can make it work.
The only things you may need to change is the lines to the moroso can. The throttle body location is the same so the CAI you have for your 5.7 will fit.
What's your opion on running this manifold on a stock 5.7 with a 93 Oct tune and a bunch of bolt ons would this help?
Matt Jones yes it will. It was pretty impressive!
Baily's Hyperformance can you run the stock fuel rails or does this intake require aftermarket rails?
Matt Jones you have to buy the fuel rails with the manifold. The bolt completely different
Matt - one of the members on Challengertalk.com tried and tried to get this intake to run well on his 5.7 and he finally gave up. No matter what, the larger runners on this just didn't work well with the smaller engine. I don't recall if he has any mods, so it may be different if you have long tubes and good exhaust. It may also benefit from a high lift, short duration cam with a wide lobe separation to help improve cylinder filling/port velocity.
Sorry for all the questions.
Can you please tell me what is included in your Bailys High Performance Package?
Also, what Cam did you install in the car?
Thank you, Appreciate it
Please feel free to email us at web.bhfactory@gmail.com and we gladly give you a personalized quote.
What cc size Fuel Injectors are on this car?
Thanks Again
i wonder what it would do on a 5.7
What mods would i need to upgrade to this intake manifold? I have a stock 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 R/T
Im not sure this would work on a truck motor.
Hey man just curious. Do you plan on upgrading other stuff or? What’s the reason for only wanting to upgrade the intake?
Victor II gonna fit in this year 392 Durango?
Is this a 5.7, 6.1 or 6.4L?
If 6.4L what Throttle-Body do you have on the car?
Thanks Much
6.4 car and that was on a stock 6.4 tb
Gotta pay if you want to play.....
Yeah but not outrageous eddy prices
can I run this set up on my stock 2021 stock 6.4 without a tune will it go into limp mode.
I didnt i have just swaped it and it feels so much better then the stock no tune
...you get the same torque/hp increase with a stock 6.4 intake manifold...ask me how I know ;)
How?
ScottyK on a 5.7 or something?
@@moosestanggang Yes, 5.7
ScottyK how you know that ???
Yeah but the 6.4 Intake I hear isn’t as good for boost as the victor. It’s a cheap N/a gain though
Does it fit 90mm throttle body?
How much is your 500hp package, and the cam that you install. Will it chop???
carguybrown98 this car sounds really good with the cam. We put a converter in this so we can get more aggressive with the cam. Email us for a quote at info@bh-factory.com
Someone actually paid you to forge their motor for an intake Cam and exhaust?
ruclips.net/video/KxxVh9t0kCA/видео.html
Most if not all of our customers have ever-evolving goals and plans with their builds. I included the link to the most recent evolution of this vehicle. Had we not done a solid base for which this platform could stand on we wouldn't be where we are today with....The Mango Chango.
Some people want there short blocks to be reliable.
@@BailysHyperformance Hmm no Edelbrock! I see a sheet metal intake..
What cold air intake was installed w/ this edelbrock. ?
we made our own real fast for testing but i would recommend the Legmaker intake for 5.7
How much hp can that forged motor handle
Jaime Flores motor itself will handle 900 crank and about 800 to the wheels
Is this worth it for a 5.7?
How much is it?
I know your busy tried contact you guys a couple times.
Will this be a direct bolt on a 2013 dodge ram rt 1500?
I dont think this will work on the trucks
Will i be able to do this to my car and still keep my shaker?
tranny tuning required? shift points should accommodate these changes
malamri424 wow! Really?!?!
@@Sak-zo1ui looks like it, see the after dyno graph
malamri424 yes it was sarcasm.
I don't get your chart.... Look at the before vs after mod RPM, one peaks at maybe 6300 while the other peaks around 5700..... How is this a good compare? tbh seems this channel si dead as the op doesn't like or reply to any comment.
What would be needed to fit this manifold on my 2012 charger srt?, the shortrunner are giving me issues on the stock manifold.
typically what we need is just a different way to hook up the intake to the manifold.
Baily's Hyperformance does that consist of different items that must be purchased or simply finding a way to squeeze it on
Osvaldo Berumen yes you will have to buy additional parts
Osvaldo Berumen i have everything for sale with low miles for 1K hellcat injectors to run e85
Scatback 392 still got it
Soooo. That intake manifolds $1,000 for 8 horsepower pass
HiShoK wheel hp. Every little bit adds up
@@Sak-zo1ui for less than 1000$ I'll go buy a 300 shot fogger system 300hp in a bottle screw paying 1000$ for 8hp that's like wiping before you poop it make no sense
HiShoK its called building up. With the same system you could prob squeeze 20-30 more hp out with the intake. Or just find one used. It is all timing on that.
@@Sak-zo1ui lets see your logic to the left 1000$ for 30hp with extra porting to the right actuall logic 700$ for 300 shot so I can literally port the stock one for a extra 20+hp for free you couldn't build a shit sandwich without the bread
HiShoK if you buy the manifold there is 7-900 bucks. Porting is usually around 400 bucks. So you are around say 1200 for a stock manifold ported. Or spend 1000 for the edelbrock already ported. You will build more power out of the edelbrock than the stock one period. Also styling the edelbrock looks better. It is made of metal which will be more reliable over time and it will stay much cooler under the hood. Now i am not saying the 6.4 is a bad choice but the edelbrock is definitely better.
Why is it so heavy
Dave Sogn cause its a muscle car dumbass 😂
People say it adds nothing this and that blah blah blah well the track numbers will be different I’m sure of it.
forged for n/a 500 hp. if it walks like a duck its a duck people....
Only 8 hp. Better off running E85 less money to.
What a waste of money
