    I installed a fan on the front inside the hood to blow off my front screen. I have it on a switch to do it anytime I want. Works great.

    Nice tractor. I have the 1735m about 190 hours not any issues. Your way more knowledgeable than I. But I'm really liking mine so far. I hit the red button nice job on the review. We are in Northern MI. Have a great week

    How You doing ? Nice video I have a 2018 M-F 1526 compact with a 3 cylinder Iseki & a FEL with a hydrostatic transmission I've got about the same amount of hours on her ,But I don't know if you researched Iseki they started out making implements in 1920 & they have a stout reputation with there engines as far as being reliable & I've never heard any complaints on them as far as not being reliable & I have a 1959 M-F 50 gasoline engine that I have had for 25 years , & I also use it year round & I would have to say I'm happy with both of them & I think You will be with yours . Also I'm a retired truck driver, A day tripper mostly But did do some OTR & was behind the wheel for 44 years & I don't miss it. Good luck with your new Massey-Ferguson 1835M ,& be safe out there , I'm just passing thru.10-4! I'm going 10-10!

    fl2611 loader---the 11 means 1100kg lift which is 2400 pounds at the pins. I have the same tractor, only hyrdostatic. Just bought it sept 29. Are your rear tires loaded with liquid? I loaded mine, but I need even more weight. That loader is a beast for sure. I love how quiet the engine is too.

    I also purchased the same model, and have done the 50 hour oil change. Not bad to do except.... why they put the drain plugs where they did is a pain. I would have thought they could have put them on the bottom, or angled them slightly to allow the oil to not splash up into the frame. Otherwise, I've been extremely happy with the tractor.

    The 50 hour maintenance, for the hydrostatic transmission version, includes changing the transmission filter and fluid. The recommended hydraulic oil cost $155.00 per 5 gallon pail, and the transmission requires a little over 10 gallons. 2 pails plus a little bit. So you can expect to buy a 3rd pail, only to use a few ounces. Might as well change the front axle fluid as well.

    • @ALTONBENALLY
      @ALTONBENALLY Год назад

      My 1835EH manual also shows changing the transmission fluid; manual and hydro at 50 hrs. I called the dealership and I was told that they're scheduled until 750 hrs. In another video, I've read people mention revised manuals.

      I have the 1835EH too. Sitting at 54hours. Haven't had the time to do the service. I only bought the oil. Parts guy told me that the transmission oil needs changing at 750 hrs, but my manual reads 50 hrs.

    I just signed to buy a 1835E 2 days ago, never owned a nice or new tractor. have to wait for them to get a backhoe in stock and mounted, 2 weeks approx. I have dealt with Ford 8N tractors 35 years, an struggled, & its time for something new & nice with bells & whistles, need a bucket & backhoe, 10 years ago I would have just found parts to put on my 8N & then built a sleeveless engine for 30-32hp, lol.
    I have been around MF, Massey Harris, & Ferguson tractors, always liked them but never owned one, 1 of my friends got a "deal" on one 20 years ago, turned out block had worn groove between cylinders due to bad injector, supposedly needed new block, but I welded it against what others said, & he still uses it on his 27 acre farm to this day, a MF265

    Hello, I’m considering a 1825E. Do you think it will be sufficient to plow and disc a field? I’m trying to avoid regeneration

    • @truckingandfixing
      @truckingandfixing  3 года назад

      It is a little small, you only probably be able to pull a one bottom plow, and most likely a 5ft disc. You definitely have to get a four wheel drive model.
