i bought a Limited as shown in video a few months ago, Love it.... no issues yet stereo is great and its fantastic on gas. my first subaru and i am not dissapointed
I think this car is beautiful and has a conservative design, which I like! The Legacy is one of the only cars that looks like a normal car. These days, cars look too futuristic and sporty for my taste.
Looks like a very safe option. I agree with Drew about the styling. Still, if I were in the market for a sedan, it would be at the top of my list of options.
Excellent review! Really wish Subaru had done full LEDs - signals included - at least on top trims. I mean this is an all new model in 2020 right? But kudos on the CVT, it at least sounds fairly normal, I bet the turbo is pretty fun to drive! All in all a nice alternative in a shrinking segment.
Agree completely. We bought a 2020 Legacy Premium with nav and sunroof and we don't care much for how it looks on the outside. It's got lots of safety tech and does well in crash tests and that was the #1 concern for our family.
Guys, absolutely great review on this Legacy. I opted for the Touring XT myself and your review is in line with everything I’ve experienced so far in this Legacy. I absolutely LOVE this Legacy because rear auto brake, responsive headlight and of course AWD are some of the things you won’t find on the Accord or Camry for about the same money. I love you guys, y’all are two no nonsense journalist that tells it how it is. Wish you well. Oh I forgot the Camry now have available AWD but you’ll pay about 2 thousand or so more and settle for the base engine and same goes for the Altima.
Lots of engine noise inside on acceleration ?? You have to go into P C to shut off engine stop - start feature Every Time you start engine up !!!! That's a game changer for me !!!
I’m 64 years young & I like it a lot........other vehicles out there today look so aggressive to me & I really don’t care for the look.....even wheel covers🤪. Now, I really don’t need or care for these large screens either😬.
i love ur reviews... it feels like i am right there in the cars u guyz review. Very good overall coverage 👍 . Do u guyz have any other channels for gadgets or game reviews? I would love watch that.
Great review guys. Looks like a great long distance all weather cruiser. Glad it has a spare tire. Keep wolfing down all those Whoppers and you may have spare tires as well. Haha!
This is quite a good car, but it got an absolutely awesome review from y’all! 😸😸 I have to say that I prefer the smaller screen and physical climate controls of the last gen, but the new screen is growing on me!😸😻😸
Our WRX has been at the dealer for almost a month now and they gave us a brand new 2020 Legacy Premium loaner. There's no way I'd buy this car after spending weeks in it.
Gee, the exterior design of my 2016 3.6 Legacy RS Premium is way more badass. I also prefer my Legacy RS's interior design though would love that 11inch screen of the 2020 Legacy.
Happy owner of a Forester, so was curious about a Subaru sedan. Much better inside than out - but their whole lineup is much more about competence than flash, and that’s reflected in how well done the interior is (where people spend most of their time!). Love your trademarked BK Coupon touch - you gotta use it if you review a Bentley!
WTF happened to the Legacy? I remember the car being more premium and more sports sedan like(competed against A4, TSX, 3 series). Since when did it start to compete FWD Toyota Camry?
Great with great technology all round, but those wheels are even more awful than the preceding generation. Then they bring back the turbo but no GT badge and they actually went to lengths to not use a hood scoop even though it still has a TMIC. Subaru wants to steal sales from Camry, Accord and Sonata, but what about winning sales to people like me who drive a much-loved Gen4 or Gen5 GT with 100,000km + on it and would like to see a true successor? Sort it out Subaru!
I really wanted to buy another Subaru this year to replace my 2009 Impreza but the entire lineup in the last few years has been so bland and generic I just lost interest.
Makes one think about how times have changed. While today you guys are entirely accurate in describing Subaru’s styling as conservative, 15 years ago or so this was pretty far from the case.
Overall what do you think of the infotainment system in the legacy and the outback? I've heard it takes multiple steps to accomplish 1 task. I am not overly high tech that is why I am asking. I hear the one in the crosstrek and forester is much user friendly.
Personally, we didn't have much of a problem with it. Yes, a few things that used to buttons take more steps to find, but otherwise it's pretty fast and intuitive
I was test driving Legacy back in December and almost got in an accident trying to fiddle with their huge infotainment system. Even basic functions that used to be physical buttons are now buried within multiple screen menus. Very distracting. That’s the only reason I did not buy a Subaru
Most of this new crap is the same. Here in Oz it's not legal to use your phone while driving and using this great big tablet is just encouraging you to have an accident.
If you guys are looking for a Jaguar/Land Rover Dealership to partner up with, there is one in Charleston WV, & I think the dealership is called Astorg Auto give them a call
I enjoy your reviews guys, but with this one I'd ask one question. If it were you, would you pony up for the turbo 4 or not? Asking for a friend. Thanks again. By the way, I must be getting old. I like the simple lines of the Legacy. Some of these newer cars are trying too hard to be different.
Thanks! Personally, I would pay the extra money for the turbo 4 because it really helps liven things up. It definitely makes a noticeable difference, so it just comes down to personal preference if it is enough of a difference to justify the price increase
I drove a 2020 Legacy Limited for a few days and it what the worst implementation ever. It comes on every time you start the car and now with the giant touch screen, you have to go through menus to turn it off. It would be a total dealbreaker to own. The boxer engine just shakes the entire car and startled me when I forgot about the system at times.
Very nice review. That car looks circa 2013. The styling and interior on that thing is extremely dated especially for a redesign. That's the best Subaru could come up with?.
Absolutely no reason for that ginormous eyesore of a screen. Break out the climate controls and seat heating/ventilation controls as physical controls (as they should be) and you could knock at least six inches off the screen. I've tried to like Subaru for a long time but they always, always, always do something stupid to screw things up.
Although Subaru shown looks nice if people are not aware of other brand cars of present & past. However the fact remains this model has copied various features be it interior or exterior from other cars a few could be named viz, Camry, Accord, Chevy and some other well known American cars.
Not sure about reliability of this vehicle . Its manufactured in America . So quality will dip . The only subaru vehicle still made in Japan is Forrester.
I have the current generation top spec Impreza hatch, and build quality is poor, fit, finish, paint job, dashboard rattles , wiring issues too( lost rear power windows ) 3 out 6 warranty approved repairs, 6 or 7 recalls ( lost track too many), my previous 2008 Impreza (over 100.000miles) was way better only one recall (takada airbags) no issues... more power, no CVT... oohh wait old one was made in Japan, current Impreza is made in the US. I did buy the first batch, maybe that is way my car has so many issues and all service bulletins apply :( to it
@suspicionofdeceit If they bring the 2.5l (182 BHP) engine on the Crosstrek and a manual, I'm all in, If not I'm going for a Alfa Giulia TI Q4 sedan , AWD and 280 HP, red leather interior ....
Have a 93 legacy rs turbo with 340,000 k's and a 2000 Outback 2.5 I just don't look at these things any more looks to me like a camery. Subaru have just lost their way
This is my second car. Already have owned 2 Legacies a 2010 and 2016. Love them!
i bought a Limited as shown in video a few months ago, Love it.... no issues yet stereo is great and its fantastic on gas. my first subaru and i am not dissapointed
(23:00) “And this Subaru Out-Legacy...”
Couldn’t agree more!
Finally, someone do review to Subaru. Thanks a lot really appreciated. Congratulations from Ireland.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
I think Subaru Legacy looks just fine, since I’m a conservative 64 year young female😁
I love the looks of the legacy! I think it's beautiful
I think this car is beautiful and has a conservative design, which I like! The Legacy is one of the only cars that looks like a normal car. These days, cars look too futuristic and sporty for my taste.
I like the fact that the Subaru Legacy still has a 18.5 gallon fuel tank unlike the Honda Accord which only has a 14.8 gallon fuel tank.
They say the bigger the tank guess it’s the worst on gas mileage would be…..
Love it! Looking at getting one currently
Looks like a very safe option. I agree with Drew about the styling. Still, if I were in the market for a sedan, it would be at the top of my list of options.
I have never clicked video so quick

Everybody be like they should have spiced it up a bit. Then when they spice it up, the saying turns to it looks too aggressive for a family sedan.....
Agree completely. We bought a 2020 Legacy Premium with nav and sunroof and we don't care much for how it looks on the outside. It's got lots of safety tech and does well in crash tests and that was the #1 concern for our family.

Congrats on your new Legacy! And thanks for the kind words! 😁
Lots of engine noise inside on acceleration ?? You have to go into P C to shut off engine stop - start feature Every Time you start engine
up !!!! That's a game changer for me !!!
Hey ken I have a subaru legacy. What do you mean regarding the legacy acceleration noise?
I’m 64 years young & I like it a lot........other vehicles out there today look so aggressive to me & I really don’t care for the look.....even wheel covers🤪. Now, I really don’t need or care for these large screens either😬.

May you use RUclips chapters please
So we can share each chapter
I want share it with old person
I actually like the styling
I would consider one
Miguel Ircontar same, but I’m looking at the base model as I’m not dealing with the craptastic distraction called a center stack
Really nice review 👍
i like how you are using the sound meter to measure the actual decibel level.
really like the touch of music in your videos :)
i love ur reviews... it feels like i am right there in the cars u guyz review. Very good overall coverage 👍 . Do u guyz have any other channels for gadgets or game reviews? I would love watch that.
Thanks so much! This our only channel but we appreciate the sentiment!
This is the perfect small sedan! Other than the sporty civic accord and Altima!
Great review guys. Looks like a great long distance all weather cruiser. Glad it has a spare tire. Keep wolfing down all those Whoppers and you may have spare tires as well. Haha!
BK coupons have made a comeback in this vid lol.
This looks clean tbh. I’m very impressed with it, good video as always guys.
Keşke Subaru bu güzel modeli Türkiye yede getirse.Video gerçekten güzel olmuş tebrikler.
This is quite a good car, but it got an absolutely awesome review from y’all! 😸😸 I have to say that I prefer the smaller screen and physical climate controls of the last gen, but the new screen is growing on me!😸😻😸

@@CarConfections how do you make the lights flash?
Our WRX has been at the dealer for almost a month now and they gave us a brand new 2020 Legacy Premium loaner. There's no way I'd buy this car after spending weeks in it.
Great review, sorry I'm late, I was busy yesterday but I really like to Subaru Legacy it's so nice
Still the best sedan for me to buy one bro.
Gee, the exterior design of my 2016 3.6 Legacy RS Premium is way more badass. I also prefer my Legacy RS's interior design though would love that 11inch screen of the 2020 Legacy.
The 2020 Subaru Legacy, it’s alright love Burger King and checkers lol!
Good AWD family sedan Nice review
How much money for that car in Kenya??

Hmm seems about legit
Great video!
Have a great Memorial weekend!

Try couldn't agree more with you they just look AVERAGE!!
I really wanted to buy another Subaru this year to replace my 2009 Impreza but the entire lineup in the last few years has been so bland and generic I just lost interest.
I think Subaru legacy is one of the most reliable midsize sedan on the market.
The exterior does look kinda dated, but I love the interior.
I love Subaru cars....wish God blesses mi I get one soon
Makes one think about how times have changed. While today you guys are entirely accurate in describing Subaru’s styling as conservative, 15 years ago or so this was pretty far from the case.
Which trim level is this? I’m thinking of Subaru over many others as soon as my VW lease is up- this year.
It's the Limited trim level!
Nice review but you can get blind spot monitoring on the premium trim.

Great effort

I got the Touring XT Edition, everything is great except only one 12v power outlet is weak.
Have you reviewed the 2015?? I just purchased one and you are so thorough!
We have not. But thanks for watching this video!
@@CarConfections you do a great job! Every video I watch I feel a little smarter about the vehicle.
@@flazada Thanks! We appreciate that!
Do they come in manual transmissions?
Not anymore

Can't stand the auto start stop system.
N Jackson agree! Had a 2020 Malibu as a rental and the start stop system had to be turned off every time you start the car. It was super annoying.
agreed, auto stop start is a no go. too bad as the legacy is a decent sedan.
I drove a 2020 Legacy Limited for a few days and it what the worst implementation ever. You can turn it off. That’s what I do.
Yes am this early. As said b4 hope it doesn't have CVT.
Daniel Hernandez everyone has a better cvt than Nissan 🤣
I had one and I had to traded in for another brand ,the infotainment lag and crash and unresponsiveness was driving me crazy
Very nice review. That car looks circa 2013. The styling and interior on that thing is extremely dated especially for a redesign. That's the best Subaru could come up with?.
Subaru’s design language was always boring to me
Subaru should have stuck with the 6 cylinder engines. Subaru hardly produced but a hand fully loaded cars which is truly a shame.
Absolutely no reason for that ginormous eyesore of a screen. Camry , Accord and Sonata. Until Altima get back their sh**t together with transmissions, they should be put of the league.
Okay, those giant tablets in car manufacturers really don't appeal to me. lol
me too
Their trying to do a Tesla.
Really?!? I like it much better than the tablet glued to the dash, plus this makes it easier to reach. I'm 5'2.
Buffy the mic buffer likes this car!
Camry in a Subaru outfit..
if we replace all the 2020 to 2010, it also make sense ;-)
The Legacy name makes sense... it’s a sedan... a real car!
@@zacharyreynolds4303 Well don’t you think of a sedan when you hear the term “car”?
The new Legacy's infotainment system is too complicated, requiring too many steps to make basic adjustments.
which is better? the legacy or the impreza? you choose!
Meantime Japan only got the old generation model with 2.5NA only, How SAD.
You can officially call Subaru a north america brand.
I think they focus to much on the tech than the exterior of the car
If a subaru isn't 10 or 20 better than a camry then it's not a subaru

very nice sounnd of engine
I’ll buy it in 2030 or sumn like dat
It looks like a 2016 Accord.
Looks like it’s from 1998
субару отличный автомобиль
Not all AWD is the same. Do your own research.
Until Subaru gets rid of the frakking CVT, it’s off the list, CVT must be utterly exterminated!
これ欲しいけど日本じゃ発売されないんだよなぁ・・・
*wtf, is this subaru? Bring back 2004 legacy 3.0 L H6 with dual exhaust*
3y ago but me more. Did that car get along fast?
This car has the appeal of a plain saltine cracker. Perfectly fine, but literally anything is a better snack.
(Also that CVT drone... eugh)
Joey Hahn haha it's called SuBOREru for a reason
Eric P my sister calls them Lesbarus.
Subarus in a nutshell
Have a 93 legacy rs turbo with 340,000 k's and a 2000 Outback 2.5 I just don't look at these things any more looks to me like a camery. Subaru have just lost their way
Climate Control Buttons > Massive screen that will be outdated in two years
I like the display. You car nerds have some sort of strange group think going on. Try thinking for yourself sometimes. It's invigorating.
its got parking sensors ? whaaaaat happened to subaru haha
What's going onnnnnn RUclipsee........
Great video about a super boring car. Subaru used to be fun and strange at the same time.
I guess they call it SuBOREru for a reason. You'll definitely blend in with the crowd with this car 😴😴😴
Great senior car.
The exterior of this car looks looks it was designed in 2002 or something. It's so dated.
Looks like a 20 year old car with an aftermarket interior swap... sorry Subaru
So, back when cars looked good?
It's very sad since the 2002 version of this car looked better but that car was more of a sports sedan rather a huge FWD family car.
