What Annie's talking about: Since eve didn't clear her jungle, the camps weren't respawning with higher levels (more xp). So the enemy jungle camps were worth more xp. It's "true" but only because eve was stupid enough not to farm her own jungle.
Eve should have farmed her own jungle while you put Nidalee behind. Eve would have gotten ahead uncontested and Nid would be behind. Izi jungle gap.

@Fal and friends@@jahmive Nah Annie was flaming sion "its painful to play with" as in the sion doing the off meta strat is painful. Annie was also pointing out that "Catch up exp" makes putting nid behind not matter. which is partially true... Catch up exp is crazy strong when you fall behind this hard, but it doesn't make up for lost gold and the early lead.
Indeed, especially an eye player should know that clear/minute is pretty much the highest prio for eve pre 6

The hardest part of doing anything off-meta is that you are the defacto cause of anything that goes wrong. So few people are willing to even attempt to adapt, even when its abundantly clear how much value you may be creating.
Yep, it's sad. I'm supp main and I love when my adcs pick weird shit, especially in rankeds (I'm master peaker). Every time in the lobby when I see stuff like nami adc I say 'bring it on'. It gives the game a flavour.

had a game when blitz jungle just got buffed and someone picked it, there we're 2 people flaming before it even got locked in even after the guy told them to read the patch notes, he carried that game.
Truer words have never been spoken. I love playing off meta champions and even when I crush in lane, if my team loses the game I will 100% be blamed by not just my teammates, but the enemy players as well. In LoL you play meta poorly it's okay, but if you play off meta AT ALL, it's the worse thing a human being has ever done.

I get itchy if I dont clear a camp in at least a minute, and this eve really just meandered her way from enemy red to enemy blue with a pitstop for snacks

Jungle is the most boosted ass role. Druttut made a video recently showing how a Reksai stood botlane for a solid 2 minutes and then still had same exp and gold as the enemy jungle that just farmed for years. I'm not explaining super well, but jungle is the most boosted and easiest role to climb with. And it's only getting easier too next season...

Also she complained about Nid's camps being worth more but if she just full cleared then invaded the weak Nid she could just steal the second spawn of Nid's camps and Nid could do nothing about it.

@@autisonm no she didn't. She went straight to Nid blue from Nid red. Both Eve's red and blue are up when she gets to Nid's blue.

Lmao Nidalee is level 1 at 4 minutes into the game yet Eve is a level down 10 minutes later. If that is not a jg diff I don't know what is.
Actually it's not a jungle diff.
Both junglers were out of this game. Which is why it was so close and the deciding factor was the bot lane that actually was a bot lane and not a cheese lane to get someone incredibly behind without too many risks.

It's not a jungle diff, that was the support diff spoon feeding the jungler (who threw by not even farming her own camps)
@@mauer1 other comments highlight why this happened. Eve chose not to farm her own jungle when she went to try to take the enemy blue buff. This left so many camps up.
@@mauer1 Nothing put eve out of this game.... She was free to farm while the Nidalee was SUPER behind. Literally nothing put her out of the game but her own inability to clear her camps lmao. Its a jungle CHASM. I've also done this exact lane and yes you lose some gold, and really if they are doing a good job of zoning you, you go even in exp usually. But the gold difference created from the invades early more than make up for it... When I did it with my buddy it was a shaco support running ignite smite.
I think what Annie was refering to is how jungle camps level up. A jungle camp's level is based on the average champion level. A jungle camp gives more experience at higher levels. However, jungle camps don't level up until they respawn, i.e. after they're killed. If you were to leave a camp alone until late game when everyone is level 18, that camp will still be level 1 and give the level 1 amount of experience. Because the enemy jungle was being cleared and your team's wasn't, when the enemy jungle's respawned it would give more experience. I'm not a jungle main but looking at the experience numbers, its not that big of a difference, unless you just didn't clear your jungle.
But if Eve knew this, she would've done the smart thing and just did a full clear of her jungle, so it'll give the max amount of experience.

Furthermore, if Eve wanted to invade the Nid after the first full clear the gap would probably have been big enough that she could just invade for the second spawn of Nid's camps.

Not only jungle camps lvl up, but League has a mechanic that IF a team is behind it gets caught up in EXP with the leading team.
And this is exactly why Eve was the one who threw, by leaving her safe, 6 camps in her jungle at level one out of her own choice.

You cant seriously tell me this eve is a master player. In my gold games i have junglers who have a better understanding of pathing than this guy. Its even more ridiculous that she has the audacity to blame the loss on you. Crazy how poeple like this even get to high elo.
Junglers are the ultimate prime target for not being able to adapt to difference game situations. They're basically robots who have the play the same way each time.
@@Tilterella I can confirm this. Whenever I play Jungle I run the same path unless something happens like invades or something. But I can be flexible, and this Evelynn straight up can't even use brain to see whats going on haha.

I was too busy in game focusing on nidalee to even comprehend why the eve is showing up without a blue buff

your content really reminds me of why i started playing this game in the first place.
being someone in the collegiate NA scene, playing comp takes away a lot of my enjoyment from late night norms / flex or anything with my irl homies. But watching this kind of gameplay, where you can win having fun and doing something odd is just really encouraging towards not hating the game after treating it like a job

It was the opposite for me tbh, played a lot in the UK uni scene. Comp just made me enjoy the late night fuckery even more, only thing I really struggled with was playing soloq conistently because it was so poor compared to planning and talking with a coordinated team. Might just be because Im a top laner though.

I don't even play League anymore, but wow was this Eve...braindead. If you have an ally in the enemy jg who's suppressing them FOR you, why not just free farm clear on your side first, grab exp and gold, and help lanes? No logic. Nothing. They had the lead, and can easily take advantage of it, but threw their game???

I think annie is talking about jungle xp. When you clear a camp the jungle "levels up" and gives you more xp next time you clear it or something like that.
But, like, eve coulda just took her own camps. Then bullied nid with the level lead.
Also, eve went from 70 to 84 farm when in the time it took nidalee to get from 25 to 70.
As Evelyn wrote in chat "JG diff" because it really was the case. U've done hard work to give her a lead and she didn't even do her part of a job, which is... clearing her side of the jungle! She should've done it, without worrying for her shitty ass to be ganked, and start bullying enemies on lanes to give a breath of fresh air for her teammates. U stated it all at 1:40, RekSai was smart, doing something. This piece of art wasn't..

I've got such a high standard for the quality of games in terms of skill and enjoyment. Which means it usually takes me a while to get a good one... with this new smite tp support sion... every single game basically is crazy entertaining XD

Hey bud, I have a story for you.
I was recently promoted at work to management at a restaraunt, but prior to this, I learned invaluable lessons regarding people. I was set up at a trainer store, learning the in depth ways of how things are supposed to operate, temping food, making sure everything is ready in the morning, proper food storage, the whole nine. While at my store, I found a better opportunity to move up that was much closer to home and needed people bad. When I got there, I immediately noticed huge differences in the ways that that store operated, such as when they closed their line, how they stored their food, how they closed their line, blah blah. Kitchen stuff. Well, we ended up butting heads and I never was able to get the promotion at that store, in fact, it got so heated that I had to walk out on the GM because he was, and I shit you not, more toxic than most league players. Pretty proud of being an ex con. Anyways, I found another store where they also did things (in my opinion) wrong, and it's like pulling teeth to get them to work properly or more efficiently because the management switched as well. They had management at this 3rd store that would let them do whatever they wanted because he wanted to be the good guy. Anyways, now we're cleaning up the absolute trash heap of this store and its turning out a lot better, but with tons of resistance.
The point of this story is even if the play is wrong, there is a deep seeded stubbornness to the "cooks", thus there will be resistance. Your style of play with smite tp is not what everyone sees as meta, therefore you invalidate yourself because of all of the years of supports taking exhaust and being the ward bitch. Tampering with this meta puts people in a really awkward spot to where they are uncomfortable with your play, and thus have no idea how to work around even the absolute smallest changes. These players play thousands of games per year, game in and game out, they see the same thing over and over, and this is written into how league operates. It's the same map, the same champions, the same items, same spells, same lanes, any differences will just cause massive distrust and massive amounts of resistance towards how the game plays out. I blame riot for leaving this game unexplored for different roles or changing the map every so often, and I'd be willing to bet that HOTS (Heroes of the storm) does not have this issue because of how dynamic the games are, since the maps change and it's not so "figured out" as far as who goes to what lane.

Tilt I love what you do, Im currently playing ziggs supp with W max, games are max 25 mins and usually I get 8/10 towers per game. Ill try as annoying 2nd jungle, power tower pusher now :d
This is a very good example of one of the major high risks this strat brings where, although you've successfully ruined enemy jg's flow, you and the jg aren't in sync.
On a side note, is this possible with Ivern?

This kind of thing is why I avoid anything too ridiculous in my ranked games, people don't want to/cant be flexible in how they think and fall apart once they are out of their comfort zone
On the other hand, it gives hope that even if you're extremely behind the enemy team can still throw their shutdowns and gifts you the win.

Since your junglers can't think for themselves, the best way to make yourself less culpable = micro-managing your team on what to do in chat before minions spawn so if they still fuck up that's completely their fault for not reading.

I’ve had this happen a lot trying this strategy so many people are unable to adapt or straight up give up trying because “sion is trolling I shouldn’t even try”

If I understand what Annie is saying correctly, she’s talking about jg camp level. When you clear a camp, the next time it respawns it kind of levels up and gives you more gold/xp. That’s why if you skip krugs and come back and clear them after a reset you clear them so quickly. So essentially Annie was saying, because y’all killed all of nid’s camps, their jg camps level was higher than y’all’s because y’all didn’t clear y’all’s jg. Effectively meaning, it’s better to keep clearing their camps at this point, not ours!
But all Eve had to do was clear her own camps and the timers would have been in her favour the entire game because Tilt stalled the Nidalee for 5 mins...
