Yes! I love watching Tilt! Of course he can't do this strategy forever, especially since he's on HCN now, hah. They'll simply start diving your adc on large waves making them be down in both EXP and gold. He always seems to find a way to adapt though, so I wouldn't put it past him to change the strat accordingly!
I think we can all appreciate niche strats but I think that calling this strat new is an insult to the origin of this pocket pick. My man AdellaideSkyhart deserves more credit.
@@HappyChimeNoises Fair enough, not to many people remember it but thelolhounds did a few video's on him... those were the early days of off meta builds.
As an ADC player, I really hope I don't get people inting it down as my support trying to do this. Many support players barely understand how to roam correctly anyway and now they'll be just leaving the lane to steal camps randomly.
I played this too as a former sion otp rocking a very good wo rate. The thing is that some people in your team really don’t know how to work with it and blame the sion, bc it’s just too unconventional for them to see the gain. All I can say is, try to be patient and don’t overestimate kd on this playstyle. You have to see that despite of sion dying to enemies in jngl he will still pull a gold and do lead for your jungler and actually for himself (compared to enemy supp) If you don’t get mad it’s easier to see the plays on the map. (Ppl tend to just perma push lane when tilted ignoring any team play or objectives). I just had a Game like this where a gp was perma flaming but even when I watched the replay I was the reason for our whole team to get an early gold lead, and why we got every single jngl objective. We won btw.
He still gives away gold by dying and you pretty much make your ADC lane 1v2 with no way to counter any kind of dive from enemy bot/mid/jungle. You can't just brush it off as people not knowing how to play with it, it's a stupid tactic with super obvious counters. Just because one guy manages to pull it off (on OCE server!) doesn't make it good, same as it was with inting sion, blitzcrank jungle and many other novelty cheese picks
@@depressedlemur2458 No you are countering dives pretty effectively. Due to constantly rotating and abusing enemy jngl he will not dive youir adc, same for mid who will be either constantly roam to help jngl or will also get ganked by your own roams. If he still decides to roam bot you can just walk up mid and push the enemy tower and wave with your mid, or even alone, so he will lose stuff too. The only champ who really loses out in your team is the adc, for your mid, jngl, supp and sometimes top its a gain. Yes there are situations to return to you adc (for example when a huge wave crashes), but all in all your adc is only suceptible to 2vs1 towerdives. This means this strat is very good vs passive laners and enchanters, as they can not really pull of a 2 man dive with their adc alone. Yes you are giving gold by dying, but you take at least as much by clearing enemy camps plus you definetely wil make him lose xp, which is very very crucial in the early stages of the game. In most of my games even where we lose my team starts with a round about 2k gold lead. (It's super effective with opressive laners, who either wont allow enemy to rotate or make them lose a tn when the laners come to help out) Obv. there is counterplay, but that's with all strats. So it might not always be a blind pick or a good pick in general (with enemy bel veth, a bard, a camille on the enemy team for example) but then again nobody expects this strat in solo q when you lock your champ in. Also generally it requires good macro and vision play. So if you can't read map and do not know when camps are up and how most junglers path when put under pressure, its not the right support pick for you.
@@Schwachsinnn So basically: A) You hope enemy bot doesn't have a duo that can dive your ADC B)You hope enemy bot doesn't have a duo that can chunk your ADC under tower C)You hope enemy jungler/top/mid don't prevent you from contesting their jungle D)If any of these fail (or sometimes not) you need your jungler and mid to waste time covering bot for you And if you pull this strategy off... You still lose bottom side of the map, your ADC loses lane, you have Sion Support, but at least your jungler is slightly ahead of the enemy? Yeah, no wonder this strategy only works for one guy on OCE server
for some more crazy builds on sion support, lethality isn't terrible. I go either glacial or HoB, has worked multiple times in diamond. Although, since more tanks have been appearing I've gone glacial into tank build a lot.
Not challenger but just a meme strategy I've been playing. Queue jungle, Amumu with exhaust and ignite. Glacial keystone. Camp botlane maybe go mid if you can kill. No farming.
brother, i don't know why youtube no longer recommended your videos. I honestly thought that you didn't release any new videos. This is a kind reminder for everyone to press the bell to see these amazing videos!
The first years I played League of Legends (from 2011), I really liked to play Sion. Then it just stopped...probably because I started playing ranked games, and different champs. After watching this video and...well...thebausffs, Sion does seem much more interesting to play. It just didn't cross my mind to play him as a support. It would be nice to breathe some new life into the gameplay of League of Legends, but frankly...at the end of the day, I am not even sure if I want to play it anymore. This is at least a good idea to try out, with the camp stealing or not.
As a former sion otp I picked up this pick months ago and actually started rocking up to a 70 win rate in high gold (created an extra account for it to not get my main account banned xD)
used to do the exact same strategy 3 months ago but with telling my team to say in all chat sion/heca afk pls report at the min 1:25 and it works in low elo bcuz u know ur teammates dont ward ur jgl which makes it easier for the enemy to invade
This reminds me of the old days of Singed Smite Support player who got banned for playing this idea. Ofc we learned more about him. Good idea but he wasnt talking with his teammates. PS he won his games.

Kinda proud that I found out about him before you made a video on him and before the whole pro coach runs it down as yuumi adc leading to tilt getting wrongfully banned
I just got done after winning a 4v5 with sion in support. His W passive with support item lets you kill minions. and it still gives stacks. not as many as in solo lane granted. very viable.
Tilterella the REAL SION KING! The man invented so many Sion strategies Riot is more pissed at him than basically any other non-nutjob streamer ever! Furthermore, he was banned because of INSIDE POLITICS. Some Rioter or a friend of some RIOT employee played ADC and hated not having a pocket healer/shield So he proceed to pressure the ban of Tilterella. It's why it got so messy and the game changed the ban and everything.

I got a 2 week suspension for playing off meta like this but didn't get it removed unfortunately... Riot new ban system sucks because I was on a 7 game win streak with a 70% wr in my gold promos too...
As an adc main i feel like you should have mentioned what he does when enemy bot freezes (which they can easily do since they can shove the wave under tower and it will rubberband) and have like a Nautilus camping between the wave and the tower. Do you just afk and wait for jgl? I probably wouldnt like playing with that. As always in the end what matters is if it wins games. But to me these kinds of offmeta strats (f.e. stuff like the Nubrac Teeamo roaming support strat) are problematic since you force your team to play exactly like you want them to or theyll lose. This particular strat only forces 1 players hand (ADC) so its not that bad but saying theres nothing wrong with it is simply not true imo.
Dang. That’s got to be so annoying to fight as a jungler. I’ve felt the pain of constant invades from opposing junglers, but man imagine the support joining in. Man.
The biggest weakness of his strat is that his teammates might fail to adapt to the unusual gamestate he couses. Like if he invades botside his jungler sees that and decides to come along for camps instead ganking or clearing other part of map thus making his strat much less efficient unless they meet enemy jungler and gets a kill on him or something like that.
that sort of thing _does_ happen, but if you watch Tilt's videos, he usually pings/tells his teammates to do a certain thing so it doesn't interfere with his cheese. in the case that it _does_ happen, it's 'cause his teammates either ignore him or refuse to adapt to his playstyle, which provides a difficult time for Tilt and potentially snowballs into an even harder game for his team. when this does happen, Tilt changes his playstle accordingly (goes back to a meta playstyle/lack of cheesing) to provide the best chances of success. Tilt does his best to signal what he plans to do/what his teammates need to do in order for his strategy to work efficiently, correcting/giving directions if his teammates are having some difficulty. so as i said, it's a matter of whether or not his teammates decide to listen and give their best at it.
The biggest weakness of this strat is that any competent bot lane duo will be up 60 cs and 3 kills on your ADC by minute 10 even without jungler's help and you will play 3v5. Try this in any major server and you won't pass d1 in your lifetime
Sadly this happened to me while I tried the strat. Got heavily countered because my team wouldn't adapt and I ended up getting a two week suspension for it (which was lifted.)
@@depressedlemur2458 You will not play 3v5. You will play 4v4. At worst. Enemy adc will be ahead, yes, but enemy jungler will be behind. You will be even with enemy supp. If anything, this strategy is theoretically safer than normal laning, because in a situation where the adc will be 3 kills 60 cs ahead and constantly diving, with You there he would have been 6 kills 60 cs ahead. If the skill gap is NOT quite that high, it is actually risk and difficult to dive early, and adc can at least keep up (or even get ahead) in levels. People always act as if enemy team will always have coordinated players that exploit this for all it has, and Your team will be potatoes. Sure, that can happen... But it happens in normal play too. Jungler spending 2 minutes top diving and denying between towers, and drake still not taken? Just a normal thursday. Botlane "getting a gank" and giving 3 kills, double buffs, 2 plates and dragon to enemy team? Yeah, been there, seen that. The only problem with this strat is team mental. ADCs will routinely throw a hissy fit when they don't get a meta support (or even an enchanter when they wanted an engager), being forced to 2v1 will often just make them quit 5 minutes in.
Tilterella is not only an absolute madman, but crazy good too. That's why i love the man, but hate seeing people my rank copy the strat. However, low elo is a coinflip anyways, so a little fun doesnt hurt too much^^

Holy shit, this guy is on of few i know from your previous videos! Dude's amazing and actually started my "i don't care anymore, just play whatever, wherever" thingy and i'm greatfull for that :)
That Yummi ADC is also a coach for a pro team, you'd assume they'd be better than sacking a game just because they don't like a strategy.
Another banger! This time with Tilterella! I’ve been watching his recent videos too. This excites me to hear he has the spotlight for your vids. Well deserved. Keep up the great work!
Would love to see an updated video on Tilterella's smite sion strategy where he takes ghost now and rushes to primal smite so that his team can guarantee control of every objective
I've been waiting for tilt to be on this channel for a while now. Glad to see him here
this support guy truly is a goat, I love how understanding he is compared to the general belief of "corrupt company doesn't listen to players"
Tilt was the first Sion main I knew about, bjergsen once mentioned him on stream as the best Sion in the world. Been subbed ever since his cheese is legendary.
this is a start i like to see skills and good thinking not just ramming on the enemy dying and still beign able to win the game with 0/10 deaths
Last Season: Smite supports in the top lane
This Season: Smite top laners in support
True league innovation
All of us from the Tilteralla org waited for u to release this video so that this strategy is officially not trolling. Thank u!
Sion the best design champ. Provide actual unique gameplay and having so much freedom while being metal af.
Can't wait to see this in my solo q games💀
Awesome video, HappyCHimeNoises! This looks so cool!
I think we can all appreciate niche strats but I think that calling this strat new is an insult to the origin of this pocket pick. My man AdellaideSkyhart deserves more credit.
Had never heard of them before today unfortunately and tilterella didn't mention being inspired by anyone.
@@HappyChimeNoises Fair enough, not to many people remember it but thelolhounds did a few video's on him... those were the early days of off meta builds.
i love how funny the support meta is. its a fun role.
As an ADC player, I really hope I don't get people inting it down as my support trying to do this. Many support players barely understand how to roam correctly anyway and now they'll be just leaving the lane to steal camps randomly.
Already been inted by a pedophile smite tp sion support twice today. Unfortunately you have to dodge these people
I played this too as a former sion otp rocking a very good wo rate.
@@Schwachsinnn So basically:
A) You hope enemy bot doesn't have a duo that can dive your ADC
B)You hope enemy bot doesn't have a duo that can chunk your ADC under tower
C)You hope enemy jungler/top/mid don't prevent you from contesting their jungle
D)If any of these fail (or sometimes not) you need your jungler and mid to waste time covering bot for you
And if you pull this strategy off... You still lose bottom side of the map, your ADC loses lane, you have Sion Support, but at least your jungler is slightly ahead of the enemy? Yeah, no wonder this strategy only works for one guy on OCE server
YESSSS TILTERELLA FINALLY HAS A VID ABOUT HIM
You sir, are becoming one of my favorite's choise of entertaining with your great work on these videos!
Keep up with the good stuff!
Many cheers!
The OG Sion Main before the internet even knew Baus existed.
YEEES FINALLY A VIDEO ABOUT TILT! he really makes league fun to watch and loves the off meta stuff
for some more crazy builds on sion support, lethality isn't terrible.
No farming.
Finally some Tilteria non-standard stuff :D
Thanks for the video!
I saw the title and instantly thought "gotta be my boy tilt, right?"
brother, i don't know why youtube no longer recommended your videos. I honestly thought that you didn't release any new videos.
This is a kind reminder for everyone to press the bell to see these amazing videos!
Damn thats a shame to hear.
I noticed lots less views and was wondering why
The first years I played League of Legends (from 2011), I really liked to play Sion. Then it just stopped...probably because I started playing ranked games, and different champs. After watching this video and...well...thebausffs, Sion does seem much more interesting to play. It just didn't cross my mind to play him as a support.
It would be nice to breathe some new life into the gameplay of League of Legends, but frankly...at the end of the day, I am not even sure if I want to play it anymore. This is at least a good idea to try out, with the camp stealing or not.
I would only believe that if a woman came skimpy dressed on my door, and said that!
Next patch:
Riot: "Ok, MF's, STOP GETTING FUN OF THIS GAME! No more of this offmeta sheet, only one player can use smite and foc you"
No offmeta is the way we tell you to play offmeta. Want to play jungle Blitzcrank?
Typing increases your chances you are banned
Yo great video man(gonna try this thing when I play), the editing was a bit SCUFFED but still understandable
Pd. Nvm just a bug with youtube in my phone
Kinda proud that I found out about him before you made a video on him and before the whole pro coach runs it down as yuumi adc leading to tilt getting wrongfully banned
Oh man, haven't seen Tilt content in forever
once i saw the invade sion with smite and TP i knew it was gonna be the man tilt himself
So he's basically Playing a dota 2 support
And got banned for it.
Some Rioter or a friend of some RIOT employee played ADC and hated not having a pocket healer/shield
So he proceed to pressure the ban of Tilterella. It's why it got so messy and the game changed the ban and everything.
Pretty sure the one who got him banned was the one who played smite Yuumi ADC
@@randomcatname7792 Funny isn't it? How a company so large as Riot is standing on a few straws. Which represent very accurately the moral resolution of the people that make decisions up there.
@@randomcatname7792 and said smite Yuumi ADC is a coach for a Pro team 💀
Sion is now two times on the A tier of your list
he really is a champion that can be played in any way
his E and W scale with ap, I can't wait for a sion ap mid video...
Immediately knew it was Tilterella lol, I didn't even know about Baus until later.
If tilterella ever switched server, that server would fall to chaos
This is so fun, love the things Sion can do. Its all so interesting. Are you working on a Sion support video next? Would love to see that.
Thank you. I'm not planning on another but zodra is on our discord(link in description) and loves sharing information about it since he hit master with normal Sion supp
@@HappyChimeNoises Thanks for the info, Ill go check it out right away!
This strat is great for many reasons
1-sion doesn't share xp with his adc creating xp value out of nowhere for his team
2-fuckingnover the enemy jungler money jg item and xp
3- with level adv on adc and probably sion gankingnwhile not behind either enemy bot is mega dead
THIS GUY WAS ON MY TEAM MAN IM SO HONORED I GOT TO PLAY WITH HIM
Well he had a different name, swapped summoners a 45% winrate and I am like silver
BUT DAMN IM HAPPY I GOT TO PLAY WITH HIM
Most likely not him🤷
imagine following this plan just for your jungler being an ivern and expecting them to carry you lol
Redemption best item rush :), interesting video. Always tough to fit in two strats, nonetheless enjoyable. Ty for your efforts
this is the OG ad Son tbh
Holy shit finally a Tilteralla video, put this video on blast and get that S.O.B. “Coach” the fuck out
It’s about time Tilt got on here
I got a 2 week suspension for playing off meta like this but didn't get it removed unfortunately... Riot new ban system sucks because I was on a 7 game win streak with a 70% wr in my gold promos too...
I don't think off meta is safe anymore
Yeah system is really awful atm, very sad to see
Tilterella is such a good player and also has an on point music taste
I love to watch Tilterella, I didn't know he was Chall tho (Because on most of his games it says Emerald/Master elo)
You forgot the part where the inting Yuumi was a coach for a pro team in OCE
Soon by Rito: each team can only pick 1 smite, by the jungler... fuck fun
I am surprised it hasn't happened yet to be honest
Omg, I didn't know he was Challenger. It's even more impressive.
Loving your videos for years, I am not good with English, but you are easy to understand.
Thank you!
This strat is literally to give the enemy jungle emotional damage, tilting them and making them afk
Love it
Btw that yuumi is a pro coach or something crazy like that. Dude tried to make a video and deny the fact he was clearly trolling.
People too scared of innovation
That moment when he took raptors and stole red buff with smite, god that's insane.
ADCs will routinely throw a hissy fit when they don't get a meta support (or even an enchanter when they wanted an engager), being forced to 2v1 will often just make them quit 5 minutes in.
i saw the thumbnail and knew who it was gonna be
Tilterella is an absolute king and now I bet he did it just so he could appear in your vids
I just came here to see how tilts strat is gettin apreciated even though I already know the whole thing fo years :D
Ah yes the tiltirella episode
tilterella been doing this for years!!! classic
Idk riot “ban” support has targeted the wrong players on the flip of a coin. Sad as it is, no ones even slightly suprised
Oh god Sion Support with Smite only Chime can found something like that! Awesome!
"Are Riot that smart" good one.
Oh, vid about Tilterella the real best sion main, nice.
Tilterella is not only an absolute madman, but crazy good too. That's why i love the man, but hate seeing people my rank copy the strat. However, low elo is a coinflip anyways, so a little fun doesnt hurt too much^^
