I love how two Sion mains (Baus and Tilt) can play so differently and be both entertaining
It's like panunu and woodyfruit. Panunu goes full AP and woody goes full cd. Both fun plays to watch
Who would have thought that someone with a kit that on the face looks pretty boring has such interesting and fun playstyles. Sion is quickly becoming one of my favorite champions.

I prefer Tilt’s tbh. It’s amazing to see Baus carrying games, but I feel like for me, Tilt’s is more “down to Earth” in a sense that I can follow it better and have much more success with it, plus it’s more team-oriented.

Wow, not only a good guide to playing Sion, but excellent performances from your entire team, and the occasional note on how they can do their jobs better. very nice.
Keep in mind its going to look like the team carried because that's how these games should go!!! we are getting other lanes gold leads and helping them snowball into carrying.
Tilterella showint that being important is not just "being the carry and killing a lot" but having a role, doing it better and helping your team to doing their owns to be a better team.
This man is amazing.
Been watching a while for entertainment value, but I really like the thought you put into "the cheese". Putting the enemy jungler (especially Kayn) behind early and setting your jungler up for success even at the cost of your early is big brain. Thanks for the macro education.

@@Tilterella I also have a question : What's your opinion on starting item? I usually go corrupting pots for the mana and health, and only buy Doran's shield into extreme poking matchups (I don't even buy Doran's shield into Gnar matchup). But what about your thoughts?

Im a ornn main and dont plat sion, but i can say that your videos and makkro guides helped me a ton, it helped me reach diamond for the first time this season so thx for the content you and others put out

Really interesting to actually here the explanations/rational behind everything you did, curious on what you think the fiora should've been doing throughout this, like is it better for her to attempt to keep you shoved in to limit these plays, attempt to match your plays, or something else? Always frustrating to find yourself on the opposite end of something like this with no clue what to do lol

hey tilt, reaaaly insane video! rly appreciate that kind of content. My only Problem with this kinda of playstyle in low elo (gold for me) is that i cant rely on my team that much. 90% of people dont listen 2 pings / calls n stuff. Sometimes i do try to get my team ahead & not me, but only if i saw some kind of humanity like good comunication/ calls/ macro but i realy just stoped to do it blind
This would be super helpful if i didn't int every time for the first 8 levels. Probably should start with D shield as well.
I didnt get to mention it in the video but stop buying corrupting potion its not worth the gold anymore. Doran shield and mana biscuits into bruisers and not biscuits into champs u shouldnt be fighting.
Do you offer any coaching?? I love your videos but really wish I could have a one on one, your mindset is so insanely good I’d love to try and learn how to think like you even during champ select

"Budget Baus" got a snort out of me.
Also got me thinking what a fusion of the best of Baus and Tilt styles would look like.
I go tank into champs that don't HARD win vs tanks. (Aatrox, Trynd, Riven, Renekton, Jax, Irelia, Urgot... And so on) Any top laner that has to BUILD against you is always a good Tank Sion game.
So it's a good idea to go tank because you will overall be stronger than them, pre 15-20 min before they get those certain items.
I go AD Sion vs champs that would HARD beat tank Sion, because you have a better chance at beating these champs due to how much damage you have. (Fiora, Vayne, Daruis, Camille, Garen...and so on). I would go AD into champs that either have built in tank shredding, or ranged champs.
Now Sion vs tanks is hard to say. Both can work, but you need to know what you are doing. I personally go Tank Sion into tanks. But some tanks like Ornn, Mundo and Cho Gath can be REALLY hard because of there %HP damage or true damage.

Happy to see you are uploading more frequently, i love to watch sion gameplay and how versatile he is, Bausffs, you and even a brazilian one (as i'm brazilian too), Sion Tiltado, you all have differrent gameplay methods and i love it
I've been getting athemas chains early on sion and normally dont get hullbreaker, titanic I normally get 3rd or 4th depending (I've gotten it last but that doesnt feel good at all)
Tilt and Babus are basically Shadow Kayn and Rhaast. One is making comprehensible plays in tank and the other starts a carnage with AD build
What is the overlay you use for summoner timers? It looks much better than what ive seen going around reddit
@Tilterella When playing against TF have you thought of using Edge of Night/Banshee on champs that could use them to prevent TF ult from spotting you on the minimap which then you could setup a play without them knowing you are nearby unless wards spots you.

Could you maybe go into why you start red trinket? I see almost exclusively Sions taking it in higher ELO.
because higher elo players drop wards during the start of the game :P Also clearing the wards gives you gold + experience and allows u to hit lvl 2 faster
Bro why is Sion's skill cap so fucking high? I thought I was popping off by just winning losing matchups and making the toplaner useless but there's soooo much you can do with this guy it's insane. I've literally been watching you since I picked up sion and yet I am constantly impressed by how you utilize him

Your macro play is very good. 99% of the time my League brain tells me you are wasting time but you are actually big braining the macro. Super cool.
by the way, you didn't mention something that's super important when you have a kindred on your team. The fiora and the kayn were both marked when they died, so the kindred basically got an extra 300 gold value out of marks, potentially more depending how they snowball with them, and if they're running treasure hunter that's 600 extra gold so even if the dives were 1 for 1s they would've been more than worth it
Huh that's weird I just confirmed 2nd rift is in fact still worth 300 gold local. Why did we only get 67 gold 16:27?
I believe it's 100 for the one killing it and 200 shared by assists
So the one killing it would have 167 PO and the two others would have 67 each
(It actually makes a total of 301 PO, stonks)

bramble suggests you want to fight fiora which isnt a good idea, also buying armor without health is a bad idea

encourages you to avoid team fights and I dont think the current meta allows sion to split push.
