Is black mesa easier than Half Life? I remember half life gave me a bit of a challange years ago. Would love to go through it again. But that looks extremely easy.
What have the devs done to the music? It was literally fine before, now you get a boring infinite loop? At least make the loop longer or more interesting, it's really awful this way.
@@EnigmaClips Well yes, but also first time players are going to be cautious at this point, because the difficulty spikes up a bit. Generally speaking, it is on the level designer to cater to different play styles.
As the graphics are as 1990s as Half Life (where Half Life at least has an excuse being produced in that era) I recommend all to just play the original instead. Black Mesa is NOT an improvement at all.

Look at the remake of Mafia, there we can talk about actually utilizing not only everything that has evolved since its initial release but also taking on improving gameplay-mechanics. None of which has been done in Mesa. So instead of kicking - defend yourself with arguments. In the end, we who play it decide, not you!
@Tom Powers As a final entry - DO try out the Mafia-remaster It is gorgeous. Same storyline of course, but still a graphical new experience-The ambience of that makes it worthwile for a replay
