I tend to share the sentiment that MB&F seems to have lost its mojo and is trying to regain its footing. Historically they leveraged the “wow” factor to repeatedly come up with unique designs that evoked strong emotions. However it is very hard to continuously “wow” with trying to come up with new designs repeatedly. It’s time they settle on a consistent design language that resonates and evokes a consistent emotion. The past for them noticed, but what comes next will determine if they are merely a fad or have real longevity.
