Had the pleasure to have dinner in his company and with other enthusiast at the now closed 5 9th restaurant in NYC, his passion for watchmaking, life and people is contagious. Wishing him all the best and can't wait to see the company grow.
Great interview Tim! Mr. Biver is a living legend in the watch industry. I was at DWW yesterday and had a chance to see this piece in the fresh. It’s amazing. It’s a shame we could meet this time. All the best for you and for the 1916 family. Best, Amintas
Great opening for the DWW reporting series, Tim! Infinitely better than last year’s coverage. Looking forward for the next installments with interesting watches and watch people. Cheers 🥂!
Tim I loved every second of this. JCB is a precious man. I’d give away every watch in my box for the opportunity to sit and have a coffee with him. I am so jealous of this. Nathaniel K from Florida.
A very animated and respectable interview with Mr. Biver, Mr. Mosso. A very unique opportunity for the one buyer, as well, probably a true once-in-a-lifetime event. Well Done! ❤👍
8:25 thats why Tim is so good at his doing! retrieving JCB from another dwell into what he did in the past wouldn't have been helpful to paint the picture of this new release, so he leads the interview very politely and smoothly to the whats-relevant-here. And I applaud JCB for his transparency on how the company will operate
nice interview Tim, this is great and very interesting. For me if you think about the River background the designs are nice especially for the first watches. Joe could pass the dinner invitation to me?.. Joe, let me know?
The Blancpain history is so murky. He bought Blancpain in 1983, he says that Blancpain didn't produce a watch in 22 years, but there are plenty of 1970's Blancpains in existence.......
I could listen to Mr Biver for hours. The passion and knowledge he has, as well as the business acumen, is an all-too rare trait.
I love Biver's energy. He has more pep than most 20 year olds.

What a brilliant interview. Tim once again showing why he is the best in the business.

I wasn't taken by the original closed dial Biver, but I adore the mostly open version and series!
Bravo Biver father and son duo! 👏🏽⌚🔥

LEGEND !
Wowzers. Amazing 12 minutes.
Impressive conversation and it is a philosophy of enthusiasm for watch making by the experienced watch maker. Really interesting indeed
Great vid! Love him!!
That dude is a force to be reckoned with! LOL! Good stuff….
cool fun guy!
Always enjoy JCB’s injection of enthusiasm for life.
two legends together - @Tim whats on the left wrist?
A Garrick?
@@davidr2802 Indeed, it's a Garrick S6. Serial 001, actually.
Best,
Tim
The Old Guy is Amazing!
Amazing 🎉
This guy is something lol. Shows how many weirdos there are in this community. (I think we are all weirdos to be honest lol)
The green chapter ring…I seem to see striations, is it malachite?
It is!
Best,
Tim
Wow.... ❤
Hardcore Grandpa Energy!
When you look up Passion in the dictionary, you will find Mr Biver picture
*what a king* blessings to jcb
Way too much attention put on these 6-figure insane watch brands. Glad for the exposure but focus on the $10-$50K market
Calm down Beaver, GEESH
Senile
The H*dinkee article on this is brutal lol
looks like a swatch
Leider ist er in die Jahre gekommen.
Mit Respekt; was kann schon der Sohn ohne den Vater in diesem Metier...
Is he passionate or pissed that Tim said build brands?
1:11 so it's nothing to do with the past. Stop making limited edition watches based on the past glories of the name.

A tip for the youngsters in sales: rewatch this 10x... that's how you sell!!
More watch. Less old man
There wouldn’t be these watches today were it not for this man. Stop being ignorant you fool.
