Cancer is weird I despise it and am grateful for it at the same time from the lessons and wisdom that its given me. I just have a better appreciation for the little things in life after having cancer twice,
My Cancer Bucket List is something that I have cherished for the longest time and never thought I would have and opportunity to acoomplish so heres to living!

Ok I realize the confusion on title!! In the video I’m referring to when I had 3 months left to live!! All good now, cancer is something that I’ve always just feared. The two cancer scares this year has been insane enough and just given me the courage to finally start crossing things off of my list!
Wanted to a bit of a longer video explaining the list and what I was feeling at the time!

This video is a gem. Thank you for sharing. It doesn't even feel weird how happy it makes one feel that you are able - and not only able, but willing to - experience all those things from your list.
And the scenery is breathtaking, pure aesthetics.

"Dear friends, I come to you with a heavy message that I believe carries eternal significance. Without a savior, we face an eternity separated from God, destined for a place of deep suffering and anguish. The truth is, our sins separate us from the perfect and holy presence of God. But I bring you hope amidst this darkness. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, offers us a way of escape from this eternal suffering. He willingly bore the weight of our sins on the cross, enduring unimaginable agony so that we may find forgiveness and salvation. Please, consider the gravity of this message. The choice we make in this life determines our eternal destiny. Embrace Jesus as your savior and experience the incredible love, grace, and eternal life He offers. May the Holy Spirit stir your heart and guide you to the truth."

Please cherish the people in your life and never take anyone or anything for granted. Jesus loves all of yall! Even if it doesn't seem like it now, things will eventually be better.

As a recent cancer survivor who beat the odds despite being considered terminal, it's refreshing to hear from another survivor who has such a bright and positive drive post-treatment. Not to say every day is all sunshine and rainbows, but it's true that the moment you start dying is when you start to focus on living. Like you, the fear that cancer will come back someday is always lingering, but we just gotta keep pushing forward and live our best life every moment we can.
Honestly, I wish I had a friend like you when I was going through it. I can tell you have such a magnetic personality. I don't know if you are ever going to see this comment, but I would love to chat some more!

So I'm struggling with a life that is really painful but won't likley end anytime soon. So I try to find small joys, it also pushed me to not wait a decade to start my bucket list so I started it this year to go after the big joys. He wasn't able to finish his list, but one thing he didn't do was regret. His list was optional, but what wasn't optional was not being there for his children. No matter how much he hurt, he would always look so tough just for me and my siblings. He lived his life one day at a time, and he knew he wasn't going to have much time. He fought this cancer for 3 years, and he was the strongest man I have ever seen. No matter how skinny he got, I knew that he was the toughest man that was a part of my life. Thank you for sharing, I wish it was different for him, but I am so happy he is no longer in pain.

Life is about change, evolving, and growing; rarely is it ever stagnant. Many times, that change is difficult, not what we expect, maybe perhaps never what we had wanted. We can't control everything that happens but we can control how we respond and behave (to a degree of course especially when many of us are dealing with various levels and kinds of mental illnesses) to it. Even if it's attempting to implement a new thought pattern, a new response to an action, doing one thing off a small to-do list a day.. slowly but surely, we start to change, we evolve, and we grow into the next phase of personhood. We thank the person who got us to where we are, grateful for the person we were in the past who was brave to exist then, and welcome, hopefully with warmth, to our future self that becomes the present. Life is a journey, and the unknown can be thrilling.. I hope you continue to enjoy it, learn from it, feel from it, and continue to look to the future and say hello to each new self that becomes the present, each and every day. Best of luck to you and take care of yourself 🖤

I got all the bells and whistles too: an ambulance, helicopter, every scan possible, 2 months in a halo. Suddenly you are wearing this kind of mortality badge to school with a bunch of teenagers who are just trying to pass math class. Every year September 3rd is part grief and part gratitude. I am mourning the childhood that ended that day, but also grateful for the kid who kept me alive. I am so proud of that kid. I am so proud of me.

This is very touching to me as around 7 years ago my grandmother was diagnosed with colon cancer. She was told she had 3-5 months left to live. She has survived ever since. Recently, though, she had to have a biopsy done for some ulcers in her lungs. She has been a smoker all of her life and during the biopsy, she started to bleed in her lungs. She was on a ventilator for 5 days after this. She got off and the biopsy was continued. As we suspected, it was lung cancer. She was not able to walk after this. After physical therapy, she was able to take 15 steps. The next day, she could not stand at all. About a month prior to her biopsy (where things went wrong) she had a major pain in her left hip. This had worsened now. Turns out, she had a stress fracture in her right hip. The doctors said that it'd be an in and out surgery, but after all she's been through, it was hard to go through with this. If it worsened, it could lead to an actual break. This surgery could also be the biopsy for suspected bone cancer in that area. And, like we expected, it is bone cancer. She went home finally and has made major progress with her walking. She has 4 more radiation treatments to go and is able to walk around the house with the assistance of a walker. I tend to not be scared for the future and the things to come for her as I am focusing on the progress she has made. Seven years ago we were terrified- certain she was on her deathbed. I take it as a sign from god that he was preparing us for something... and not to be afraid when it happens. So, for anyone who has been or has a family member that is diagnosed with cancer, do not fear. One day at a time. Always tell yourself that. One day at a time. Do not give up hope, and try to be happy for your own sake. Trust me, I was scared, too, seven years ago. But, once again, one day at a time.

Hey, sharing all this in case it can help in any way. I'd feel bad if I didn't!
I've heard that things like healing the gut/microbiome with diet (keto and others), and/or intermittent fasting, and/or huge vitamin injections, like vitamin C, have helped some people recover from cancer. Look into Dr. Josh Axe. His own mother had cancer twice and was in general ill health for 10 years until she changed her diet. It helped her recover from cancer the second time!
And I've also read that there's been a huge spike in cancer cases recently. Some of the c0v1d v@ccines may cause it due to the spike proteins they contain. If you have gotten jabbed, please please look into natural methods of detoxing the spike proteins out of your body!!
And you should also know that vitamin B12 deficiency is linked to some cancers. Most doctors believe B12 deficiency only starts once the level drops to about 200 pg/mL or so -- but that's not true, as many case studies and reports show symptoms can start at 500 or even higher. It manifests differently in everyone, but it can cause depression, anxiety, symptoms like those of multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, severe developmental delay & failure to thrive in kids/babies, and crippling nerve damage and death. This list is by no means exhaustive, and again, everyone gets different symptoms! Some people have genetic mutations or other factors preventing them from getting enough B12 or absorbing it properly. Some people will need lifelong injections because regular B12 supplements just don't work for them! Thankfully, injections are cheap. Anyone experiencing neurological symptoms should have injections at least for a while. Cofactors are needed, like folate and potassium (the latter should be gotten through food, not supplements).
Please check out the work of Sally M. Pacholok and Dr. Jeffrey Stuart! They wrote the book "Could It Be B12? An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses". This book lists countless verified case reports from medical literature, detailing cases of B12 deficiency being misdiagnosed as various other illnesses, leading to terrible outcomes for those for whom it wasn't caught in time. This book could save your life or that of someone you know!
      Praying for you. 💕

When I had stage 4 cancer at 18 in 2019 I made a list of foods I wanted to eat again. It was crazy to make a list of things I wanted to eat again before I died and then to live long enough to check those items off. I never thought tacos from my favourite Mexican restaurant would be on my "things to do before I die" list but at 18 years old, they were. The way you describe the month you should have died sums up perfectly how I feel about the month I was diagnosed every year and how I feel the few days leading up to my birthday.
I had my first relapse scare in early 2021 and it was terrifying knowing that if my cancer was back I was out of options.

"The moment you start dying is when you finally start to focus on living. So why not do that now?"
Thanks man. I'm 21 now, turning 22 soon. I feel like I've done nothing but watch myself grow older, wondering why I feel sad or lonely; not allowing myself to engage in the experiences or opportunities that appear because I am too fearful of the future. But if not now, when?
The positivity and joy you find in your life despite your hardships is inspirational and has further encouraged me to start taking the wheel of my own life. I want to start living. Or at least try to. It's better than just waiting and dying, right haha? Thanks for posting your journey.

My cancer is certainly nowhere NEAR as scary as stage IV lung cancer, but cancer regardless will really put you in a bad place mentally.
