great video. I have a mercedes c class w205 2015 year, c 250 diesel. I cleaned the adblue injector . he turned on the check engine light. p220162 The NOx sensor (cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. The Signal Cimparmision is Faulty. when I clear the error it is gone for 20-30 days or 50-60 kilometers and then it appears again. how do I know which sensor it is, upper or lower, what should I do?
I still haven't solved the problem, on the second scanner it shows that it's sensor 2, but it's very expensive, I'll try to buy a used one, replacement parts usually don't work, only the original, in my country the original costs 700e
Most OBDll readers will do this. I have a Streetwize one which I bought from Euro Car Parts. It cleared the code fine. The reader may say to do it with ‘Key Off’ but it always does and clears it anyway.
Have a W177 same issue, any difference betwen the upper and lower sensor (lower is defective or sensor 'b') Regarding part number etc, or just same sh*t....? Thanks in advance!
Hi I have changed both my sensors twice as I though the first batch were faulty but the engine light still comes on and it states nox senator issue again. Could there be any other reason why this is happening
I did the same as you, replaced the Nox sensor not being original but I think it needs a strong computer to restart the settings of the vehicle so the car understands the new sensor 😢

Hi . I have same problem i guess . Just the amber engine light came on and obd2 checked it says p229f nox sensor bank 1 sensor 2. Will change the sensor only solve the problem?
I have a mercedes-benz vito 2017 and I have replaced one nox sensor 1 and got it programmed but then the nox 2 failed so got it changed but do you have to get it programmed eg learn and rest again or does it have to be programmed it again because ir the second nox sensor. I was told by the mercedes when I bought the part.
Is this the same on a mercedes-benz vito 2017. I have someone who fitted it but he did not have the software to do that. I bought thr sensor from Mercedes-Benz. I had adblue malfunction message come up and then it said emp op in 490 miles first amd then the sensor was changed but the message did not go away
Thanks for the great video. I think I have the same problem with my E class. If I want to do a DIY job myself, do you mind telling me which OBD tool are you using? THanks
Diagnostic charge say £100 part cost £475 hours labour to fit 75 consumables charge. Also rember your paying for someone's knowledge tools building rates so yeah 700 is a complete fair price.
they are made by siemens and vitesco all over the world cz,de, india, china ,usa , but all sensors made by ngk ntk japan, no one needs to replace entire nox sensor, only the sensor which can be soldered to your old ecu and you have once again oem sensor in your car! the check engine light only comes on when the engine revs are over 3500rpm. now i drive slowly and the light does not come on
What’s the tool you used to clear the code at the end

Lovely set of leaves under the hood
What error code was this for? A mate has a P2200 error.
Hi if driving with this not working. What other sensors can get damaged? Around a year I have driven its it not working.

what diagnostic tool was that
Launch x431
I replaced it to my W177 but the engine light is still on, the nox was not original, maybe for not being original it’s till on ?

Hi. Great video.
I have a P2000 error code. Nox trap efficiency below threshold. Is that for the Nox sensor? Does it need replacing? Thanks.

How much should it cost to replace it?

They do need reprogramming to vehicle, and also it may have underlying faults
Can anyone program them or do you need to go to main dealer
Whats the name of the tool to loose the sensor?
Lamda sensor socket
hi what tester is that? is it launch or Autel and with type/model,

The components are the dearest part and the correct diagnosis of one... 700 is a fair price
