The all-new second-generation A5 Cabriolet is 55kg lighter, 50mm longer, has a 14mm extended wheelbase but is 8mm slimmer than the model it replaces.
Each model gets Audi’s singleframe grille, narrow headlights, smooth body surfaces which feature a defined crease along the flanks and a pronounced boot lip.
The cabriolet gets a flush cover for when the fabric roof is open which is stored behind the rear seats, while with the top up, it retains an elegant profile.
A new roof opening mechanism can be operated by a one-touch button, taking just 15 seconds to open and 18 seconds to close at speeds up to 31mph.
The roof consists of three layers of acoustic fabric and the car features seatbelt microphones.

The S5 Cabriolet with its Quattro all-wheel drive and is even faster, yet more efficient than before.
It gets a new 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 TFSI petrol engine, which develops 349bhp and 369lb ft of torque from 1370 to 4500rpm.
From standstill to 62mph takes 5.1 seconds and it has a limited top speed of 155mph.
Depending on the engine you opt for, available transmissions include a six-speed manual, seven-speed S Tronic and an eight-speed Tiptronic. All models are current fitted with Quattro all-wheel drive.

The A5 has always best one of the best in class, if not the best.
I enjoyed this Video Review of one the best Cabriolets on sale
Thanks Jamie Pickles. Happy weekend
is it scuba blue or moonlight blue?
Audi makes/has made a number of blues. Driver's seat/ Matthew, can you recall the colour of this one? Thank you.
I think you enjoyed this one - a lot. Lot of car/enjoyment for your money.
Brian Fish might have enjoyed it a smidgen. Awesome car.
Audi A5 ist the most beautiful car alive. Only a thing I don't like in the new A5: the navi screen which is towering on the cockpit like a sore thumb. I prefer the cockjpit of the previous model.
Got mine two days ago
not a twin turbo either, omg do the research
It's predecessor - the B8.5 Supercharged version - is a better looking car IMO and has better build quality. Audi have blanded out the classic look of the car which is a shame.
I can live with tamer styling in the 2017, but you are wrong on quality being less. The big gains for me are in the interior design and features. That afterall is where you spend 100% of your time.
It doesn't come with an electric steering wheel?!
Timmy Picton did we say it did?

The side looks so boring still... besides that how beautiful is it!
Jigsjigz you should have someone giving you a. Bj when you watch it. Then it's a great video-
lol what?!
Jigsjigz I mean if that's you in the profile pic there must be people in line who would love to. That's all im saying :-)
The A4 vert still looks better than this.
Jeans and sheux
You need to buy better shoes dude. (sigh)
agreed. those are simply horrendous shoes.....shameful.
I think the A5 is starting to look a bit dated
I think the previous front end design was much nicer and more timeless. This look bloated
