I can see you guys, in 5 - 10 years (maybe even less) being so dominant in the car world that manufacturers reach out to you before releasing products, to get your opinion, in order to perfect their vehicles.

Probably a person like Thomas from Autogefühl will be the one that is approached by manufacturers. TheStraightPipes makes great video's, but quite subjective

I love how Audi gives each of their RS cars different headlight designs. It's gives each car its own unique look which in turn gives each car character.

Stumbled on your channel a couple of days ago, 100% hooked. At your current sub pace it looks like you guys will hit quarter million subs by Aug 7. Hopefully you hit 1MM by end of year. You're better than Motortrend's Johnny Lieberman and Jason Cammisa, and I really enjoyed them before Jason left. Great review. I have the 2018 S4 which is pretty much the sedan version of the S5. All the things you highlighted are things I enjoy as well. A couple other details you didn't cover: The heads-up display is great. Crisp with great info when navigating. Navigation in full info setting is very good. I usually stick with Google Maps when I'm traveling, but I love the way this car gives you ample warning of which lanes you should be in well in advance of needing to be there. Interior lighting at night. 20+ colors to choose from with recessed lights all over the cabin. Safety tech! The car will warn you you're about to open your door into traffic. Active braking will caution you and even take over if you get into a bad spot. All said, Audi makes a great car.
Awesome! We also didn't tell you the size of the gas tank, the width of the tie rod ends, the types of metal used in the wiring harnesses. What did we even say? 😂
I think you're kidding here so I'll kid back: God forbid you talk about something like safety or usability of navigation when you need to cover important things like visors and cup holders. Seriously though, my additions aren't meant to point out shortcomings of the review. I'm merely excited about the car and want others to know about some other great features.
Definitely kidding. Just pointing out that we can't always talk about everything because the videos will be very long and boring. We change it up from car to car as well

I like everything about this channel.
I had the 2018 A5 after three B8 A5s. I never really loved the car like my others. I traded it for an S5. LOVE IT!!! The electronics have quirks that I hope they reprogram. It rides great. Runs great. Love the looks! Mine is Tango Red. I found a website to get rid of those horrible rear head restraints for lower profile ones. Much better.

Strong and detailed review, excellent. Camerawork and especially sound are amazing again. How do you get rid of all the wind noise??? The exterior shots while driving are my favorites and how you were able to capture that sunlight just right to illustrate the sideline of this cool car. Also the precise sharpness of the shot of the paddels really impressed me. Funny how Yuri tries to hide in the car to operate the top. Your are not that small, I can still see you :) I am always on the lookout for a shot with Yuri in a cool shirt and cap and you delivered. Nice to mention the trip computer reset button from the Volvo S90 review and how you managed to sneak a watch into a shot.
@15:03, Yuri's tangent about finding the night time planet earth for minimal distraction is one of the funniest straight pipe moments I can remember. Never hold back your genius, Yuri! I love your work.

Can confirm the failed visor test is a cabriolet thing. Bought a 2019 S5 Sportback and it passes! I love this channel nice job guys!

Cabriolets always look awkward to me, especially with the top up. Two seat convertibles are more stylish. My humble opinion only of course. Keep up the enjoyable reviews though.Thanks!

Great review as always! One thing not mentioned but easily missed if your first current gen Audi.....The top of the large mmi selection knob is also a touch pad for hand writing recognition etc. and works well.
And this is why your channel is amazing. You guys are honest and the “normal” people... like I was watching an youtuber the other day racing the TTRS and he said he didn’t like audis because they’re too good at everything, like wtf?

Great vid as always guys. Having had a 2018 A5, one thing I will say in regards to the backup camera is that you can, in fact, use the 360 camera while using the reverse camera. All you have to do is click the right side tab while on the radar screen and you can then from there select the 360 camera.
I own a 2018 s5 for almost half a year now, I absolutely love it and it worths every penny
So glad you got an Audi!! As for quattro, all their cars in Canada are all wheel drive, but in places like the UAE (Dubai), you have to pay much more to get them AWD. Keep up the good work guys 👍🏼

The reason you’d get the round steering wheel is because it comes with a heated function. The flat bottom doesn’t unfortunately. It’s like that in all Audi’s

It took me over 5K miles to get used to the knuckles on the D shaped wheel in my 2018 S3.
Now I like it. My hand has been trained to hold it just so with my right hand while my right elbow is planted on the center arm rest.
