I saw hate Chara when played as alphys skin, but the phase 4 Chara icon looked like p1 Chara but wth half-hated face. Also she screamed as in undertale genocide. She's so fast, but thankfully she didn't have slash ability at that time and I killed her at last second. When she's closer to you, screen is becoming darker.
29:20 there's a trick here, while chara is taking over frisk's body, you could quickly go to chara literally Infront of them and hit them with a lot of spears, until your power is up to max and then simply die and become undyne the Undying and the fight will be a bit easier as when you die frisk takes over again.

I got contact with the developer himself, Woloned, and asked him about the secret Chara form. He stated that he had removed it, but doesn't remember why, likely due to bugs. He said he didn't have plans to add it back, but that he should, though he can't promise anything.
You can dodge Chara's slash by dashing through it, in v1.6 you can dodge through any attack (yes, you can avoid being slashed by first p3 Chara attack, but shes fast enough to turn back and stab again, sp you're dead)

You can actually pull off an invincibility glitch with flowey really easily by saving while burrowing underground then loading above ground and you’ll be invisible and invincible but able to attack and taunt
That...is uber useful information. I may try this, though chances are I'll probably find another strategy to avoid feeling like I'm cheating. Really cool trick otherwise.
fun fact : if you waited in mobile for the revive to come back instead of just tapping to skip it , you can save immedietly after reviving ( i never played on pc do idk abt it) non glitch fun fact : if you hold dash , you can summon knives from the ground if you are in chara mode , this gets longer and also can stall the chara if you dash sideways
Flowey is really fun and it's actually possible to beat the whole game with. It takes a Lot of timing and a bit of Skill but it's duable and also i have no idea how asgore works they are just botton mashing
I kind of figured that with Flowey, I just knew if I learned how to play around the save file, I could probably do it, but I stopped in favor of playing Mr button mash.

Because depending on who you ask, they either say non binary, male, up to player interpretation, or agender. I personally go ahead and say the last one mainly because im pretty sure it was Toby's intent. The fastest character that can frisk is actually papyrus. Combined with the both bone attacks and cool dude attack, frisk dies in few seconds. Also you dont need to teleport to beat frisk or chara, nor you need to move. at the start of the round just hold the gaster blaster attack and release it, after İMMEDİATELY just throw frisk away. This works even in nightmare.
Also for anyone wondering, for the directional gaster blaster, turn on bad time mode on sans, and hold gaster blaster attack. Theres 4 different type of attack settings. First is normal attacks, second is hold attacks, third is bad time attacks, and fourth is bad time hold attacks. Your attacks change if you hold them. Both their power, and the skill entirely. As an example if you press dash ability once, you roll. But if you hold it and release, you slash and dash (doesnt deal damage but dashes even further) this tactic allows you to beat chara in nightmare with undyne, although undyne has a easier tactic where you make frisk green soul, and just throw random spears, right after your energy ends, make it green again
So hey, I accidentally deleted my frisk rework comment, though I have a better idea of the frisk rework Frisk will have 3 weapons. Burnt pan and empty and worn dagger. You have a mercy meter, you can fill by not attacking, it's basically winning without attacking though the rewards are reduced by 75% Now let's into the weapons You can switch between them with E and R Burnt pan : 3 abilities. Cookin! : your pan gets thrown into the air and becomes bigger and shoots auto aimed eggs at the enemy. Heal : if you have landed your cookin! Attack then you could get a heal from it, though you could receive more heals if you hit the enemy manually. Pan Spin : you basically Spin yeeting the enemy away from you. (The distance is reduced if it's phase 3 chara) Empty Gun : 2 abilities Bullets : you have about 8 bullets, you can shoot them Refile : a counter which if you land, you temporarily become faster and invincible and gain back 2 bullets. Worn dagger : 2 abilities Slash : like in the game you could do a ranged slash. (Though it becomes 2 slashes if you are in phase 1 chara) Slas-Ash : you do a long dash dealing damage, you could use it to flee or to deal damage. Your nightmare/phase 3 chara state will have a ultimate for worn dagger. Universal slash : it basically oneshots if the enemy dodges it, then the map becomes blank black though, you would stuck in your base chara form. Though you can't ever go up to phase 3 or 2 chara. You will be stuck with normal chara till you win, unless you didn't use the ultimate at all.
Very Cool Video! Also,Undyne now is the easiest character,because you can just stand close to Frisk/Chara and spam spears ._. The only place where it works BUT NOT IMMEDIATELY is the 2nd and third difficulty levels On demonic mode you do this tactic until the third phase, in the third phase of enchantment, you make a green soul and spam spears.... By the way, she is my favorite character, but I’m sorry that they made her so broken.... (But this does not mean that it is not possible to complete the game without this bug, I did it easily)

This, you are correct on. However, I neglected to go into more depth on the abilities, and I actually regret not talking about 1.5.2, because that was the middle ground between 1.5 and 1.6 that I actually liked.
The video wasn't even meant to be half an hour long when I originally made the script. And I completely scrapped talking about 1.5.2 because I spent too much time talking about previous versions than 1.6, which was the main point of the video.
For sans what you want to do is immediately use 2 throws then teleport to the right. Then begin charging a gasterblaster this will be small it will have good range and width, it is also more cost efficient. Then immediately use throws till you hear a thud, rinse repeat till done

I didn't watch the whole video yet so idk if it is mentioned but it's funny how green soul + that one fire attack just kinda instantly kills frisk/chara in most difficulties (I noticed this while making a custom character) which means you can cheese all difficulties if you have the undying/rebirth ability
That's...infinitely easier than what I used. Also, I didn't really showcase balanced strategies or much at all with the creator, because that would've made this video double its runtime.

Imagine the nightmare if Woloned took the added features of Chara in this update and multiplied it tenfold, like spamming projectile deleting slashes with infinite range. Plus blue soul and knockback doesn't work and you can't outrun her.
Hey so to unlock papyrus the closest i got was using blue bones to make a wall that slows the human and spamming blue bones on him while also trying to make a wall i couldn't kill the human but i got pretty damn close
For sans I spam blue and white bones making Frisk take damage even in the hardest difficulty and when Frisk gets close I push back use gaster blaster spam blue and white bones so I could make sure I'm always 100% at max energy when Frisk gets close.
Dude now that i watch this idk how i beat the entire campaign as frisk.. it only took me almost a month and some planning out the moves i would do (none of them worked when it came to nightmare chara)
Yeah, I remember in a pre release/ leaked version of 1.6 I blue souled as either sans or a custom character and just watched them slowly walk through the blue soul toward me
I remember that too, that's part of why Chara's nightmarish 4th phase scared me so much because blue souling her moved her back an inch, it was like using a normal throw while exhausted.
I have never seen the hate Chara in the game, but I assume that it's worse than phase 3, in terms of speed and not damage because 99999999 damage already existed in phase 3
I can't speak for 1.5, but in 1.4.2, you had a 1/1200 chance of encountering her, mainly on Hard 3. She's extremely fast, the screen rapidly darkens, and good luck using any control abilities against her because she's immune. The 1.6 beta allowed you to turn into her if you transformed from phase 3 Chara, but it was broken and you couldn't attack or be attacked (and it was missing the model). It's scary.
You're completely right. I'm gonna be honest, I wish I structured the Frisk segment differently. I was supposed to talk about their 1.6 gameplay and my experience, but I had to mention their previous iterations which turned into a rant. The thing is that I painted 1.5.1 as a game killer, when in reality the rework wasn't bad, they were just undertuned, and 1.5.2 fixed that, and then there were a few small changed in 1.6, but ultimately I'm just upset that 1.6 took away the scaling damage between phases.
@@insertuncreativenamehere that is true, depends on what Chara phase the enemy is at. If it’s on Chara phase 1, then if the Player has phase 3 it has extra defense to survive against it. probably for balancing issues to their view. And if both the Enemy and Player are on phase 3, then the balance is that the Enemy has a ton of defense, so it doesn’t get too easy and end quickly. Like in Demonic Mode.
It is okay for quote on quote ‘misgendering’ frisk and chara, as since they have no canon gender. They can be whatever gender you want them to be. It is up to the players interpretation.
Guess that's how I beat Hard 1, haha. Now I know how to cheat hard 3 and demonic without using infinite bad time and zero cooldown...though I'll likely still try for an actual strategy, too.
In medium or easy? Ive been stuck on medium demonic mode for weeks now, i havent played easy because i think easy modes ruin games, ive tried the blue bone strategy, but sans gravity attack is too weak to push them back, so chara catches up before you can regain energy...
I did the entire video on medium difficulty, which I did not acknowledge existed until the Frisk segment, however I decided that I should not have to change the difficulty for beating the game to be possible. As far as I know, you *can* beat Demonic with Frisk and Undyne which I could not reach, however Papyrus is impossible. Not sure about Flowey and Asgore. But the game, for the most part, is doable on easy settings, the large gaster blaster and blue soul works on demonic for easy difficulty settings, but not so much medium.
As a mobile user (ın easy mode) The leves ı beat: -sans -undyne -papyrus -frisk As for Asgore and flowey... Well ı stuck and couldnt finish. -Asgore (demonic mode) -Flowey (hard mod 3) As a person who couldnt play any other .chara.chter other than sans and bearly beat the game with frisk, with this update, this game ıs now a GAME to ME. It ıs now fun to ME and ı get addictied. I do belive, ıt because of better enemy aı and characters ın general. ( 12:06 chara was strong but the gameplay was personely awfull. And ı couldnt even play as other characters ıt was to hard for ıts own good. But now ı fellt like game ıs fix and mostly frisk gameplay ıs fix. Plus they even became my main XP farm! ) So ıt ıs a better update to me but character creator ıs bugy as hell. 36:49 All ı want was play as chihiro fujisaki but "her" Skin always glicth out :c "My hopes and dreams now ruind and all ı feel ıs despear..." I couldn't beat Demonic Mode on Papyrus even on easy mode, but everyone else I did. I'm doing a followup video, and in it, I manage to beat the campaign as almost everyone. Flowey has a really funny trick that makes it stupidly easy. Asgore is impossible for all I know. Now, I'm glad you bring up Frisk, because I regret how I structured my Frisk segment. I painted the rework as some kind of game killer, when in reality, their numbers were just undertuned at first and the followup patch (that I did not talk about) fixed that, then 1.6 had 3 main changes, one of them being that you no longer scale damage between phases, which turns it into "spam ranged slashes." I absolutely agree when I saw that the gameplay of old Frisk was terrible, but a part of me wishes they kept the scaling damage so that when you finally transform into nightmare Chara, you feel like you earned the power to delete your enemy, or at least you could in 1.5.2. I have an entire document filled with a list of bugs I've encountered, and the character creator has a number of them. Your writing was perfectly understandable, don't worry.

And ı kinda also wish that we can still hit one shot as chara. For people who are new gonna have hard time beating the game anyway so ıt can be a good buff to hit one shot after beating the demonic mode. I mean, at least ıt can be very good award after beating the demonic mode as frisk. I dont think ıt ıs not İmpossible to ımport that. They can do this only to that character and not allow ın character Creation. Just to thinking about ıt makes me wanna beat the game with frisk all over again! I hope they can fix bugs to. I remember playing in an old version of the game and got evil chara she was so fast it was impossible to see what happened but the only thing i saw before losing is that sprite of dark chara with red smile and eyes , don't know why it was exhausted frisk when you played it, maybe there's a difference between pc and mobile? We might never know
It might be a bug with the specific version, but then again, the secret itself had a number of bugs that had Woloned remove it...at least for now. Funnily enough, he forgot about it until I messaged him about it.
If you liked bonetale then play Undertale: Last Corridor its like bonetale but 3d and online I reccomend start by seeing a guide so you know how to play the game Also the game is multiplayer
i saw that secret chara phase in the beta of 1.6 i could self kill myself after phase 3 chara and i would get that healthbar portrait however i couldn't use any abilities

Presumably, it should be possible. I can't prove that because I've only played the PC version of the game. However, trying to encounter it may be a slow process since in PC you can hit esc to go to the main menu at any point, whereas on mobile you have to kill, die, or close and re-open the game.

Papyrus IS impossible. Flowey? He has a funny trick that lets him do the level as fast as Undyne. Asgore? I have yet to try.

Refile : a counter which if you land, you temporarily become faster and invincible and gain back 2 bullets.
Worn dagger : 2 abilities
Slash : like in the game you could do a ranged slash. (Though it becomes 2 slashes if you are in phase 1 chara)
Slas-Ash : you do a long dash dealing damage, you could use it to flee or to deal damage.
Your nightmare/phase 3 chara state will have a ultimate for worn dagger.
Universal slash : it basically oneshots if the enemy dodges it, then the map becomes blank black though, you would stuck in your base chara form. Though you can't ever go up to phase 3 or 2 chara.
You will be stuck with normal chara till you win, unless you didn't use the ultimate at all.
Also monster kid is broken because when you do conditions and start the game you are forced to medium 3 with frisk blocking every single attack
Also playable frisk can beat every level on medium mode
funny thing on flowey you can become invulnerable with saving ability

Also,Undyne now is the easiest character,because you can just stand close to Frisk/Chara and spam spears ._.
The only place where it works BUT NOT IMMEDIATELY is the 2nd and third difficulty levels
On demonic mode you do this tactic until the third phase, in the third phase of enchantment, you make a green soul and spam spears....
By the way, she is my favorite character, but I’m sorry that they made her so broken....
(But this does not mean that it is not possible to complete the game without this bug, I did it easily)

This, you are correct on. However, I neglected to go into more depth on the abilities, and I actually regret not talking about 1.5.2, because that was the middle ground between 1.5 and 1.6 that I actually liked.

For sans what you want to do is immediately use 2 throws then teleport to the right. Then begin charging a gasterblaster this will be small it will have good range and width, it is also more cost efficient. Then immediately use throws till you hear a thud, rinse repeat till done

I didn't watch the whole video yet so idk if it is mentioned but it's funny how green soul + that one fire attack just kinda instantly kills frisk/chara in most difficulties (I noticed this while making a custom character) which means you can cheese all difficulties if you have the undying/rebirth ability
That's...infinitely easier than what I used.
Also, I didn't really showcase balanced strategies or much at all with the creator, because that would've made this video double its runtime.

Imagine the nightmare if Woloned took the added features of Chara in this update and multiplied it tenfold, like spamming projectile deleting slashes with infinite range. Plus blue soul and knockback doesn't work and you can't outrun her.
My 1.4 Frisk/Chara strat could beat them, but it takes some skill. Wait until dash would bring you into 1 shot and then dash through them
Hey so to unlock papyrus the closest i got was using blue bones to make a wall that slows the human and spamming blue bones on him while also trying to make a wall i couldn't kill the human but i got pretty damn close

For sans I spam blue and white bones making Frisk take damage even in the hardest difficulty and when Frisk gets close I push back use gaster blaster spam blue and white bones so I could make sure I'm always 100% at max energy when Frisk gets close.
My strategy:
Throw x2, giant blaster, make a blue wall, run, rest, repeat,
Dude now that i watch this idk how i beat the entire campaign as frisk.. it only took me almost a month and some planning out the moves i would do (none of them worked when it came to nightmare chara)
I did end up beating it, but that will be shown in my followup video.

I don't have footage but I swear in earlier versions I've blue souled Chara then they'd jump in midair and slash me.
Yeah, I remember in a pre release/ leaked version of 1.6 I blue souled as either sans or a custom character and just watched them slowly walk through the blue soul toward me
I remember that too, that's part of why Chara's nightmarish 4th phase scared me so much because blue souling her moved her back an inch, it was like using a normal throw while exhausted.
I have never seen the hate Chara in the game, but I assume that it's worse than phase 3, in terms of speed and not damage because 99999999 damage already existed in phase 3
I can't speak for 1.5, but in 1.4.2, you had a 1/1200 chance of encountering her, mainly on Hard 3. She's extremely fast, the screen rapidly darkens, and good luck using any control abilities against her because she's immune. The 1.6 beta allowed you to turn into her if you transformed from phase 3 Chara, but it was broken and you couldn't attack or be attacked (and it was missing the model). It's scary.
For Frisk 1.5.2, it’s easy and a good rework… you just need to get good, it’s easy. You just need to get the hang of it. Like said in 1.6.
You're completely right. I'm gonna be honest, I wish I structured the Frisk segment differently. I was supposed to talk about their 1.6 gameplay and my experience, but I had to mention their previous iterations which turned into a rant. The thing is that I painted 1.5.1 as a game killer, when in reality the rework wasn't bad, they were just undertuned, and 1.5.2 fixed that, and then there were a few small changed in 1.6, but ultimately I'm just upset that 1.6 took away the scaling damage between phases.
@@insertuncreativenamehere that is true, depends on what Chara phase the enemy is at. If it’s on Chara phase 1, then if the Player has phase 3 it has extra defense to survive against it. probably for balancing issues to their view. And if both the Enemy and Player are on phase 3, then the balance is that the Enemy has a ton of defense, so it doesn’t get too easy and end quickly. Like in Demonic Mode.

I literally have unlocked undyne after my first game of the save file yes the LITERAL first game
When playing as undyne the undying attack twice then let Chara attack then you will never die because you have 0/ infinite health.
Guess that's how I beat Hard 1, haha. Now I know how to cheat hard 3 and demonic without using infinite bad time and zero cooldown...though I'll likely still try for an actual strategy, too.
Also, if you stand near to frisk/ phase 1 or 2 chara, you can use spears to attack [] and spam them until [] dies.

In medium or easy? Ive been stuck on medium demonic mode for weeks now, i havent played easy because i think easy modes ruin games, ive tried the blue bone strategy, but sans gravity attack is too weak to push them back, so chara catches up before you can regain energy...
I did the entire video on medium difficulty, which I did not acknowledge existed until the Frisk segment, however I decided that I should not have to change the difficulty for beating the game to be possible. As far as I know, you *can* beat Demonic with Frisk and Undyne which I could not reach, however Papyrus is impossible. Not sure about Flowey and Asgore. But the game, for the most part, is doable on easy settings, the large gaster blaster and blue soul works on demonic for easy difficulty settings, but not so much medium.
You should play Android version cuz' it's completely different from pc

As a person who couldnt play any other .chara.chter other than sans and bearly beat the game with frisk, with this update, this game ıs now a GAME to ME. It ıs now fun to ME and ı get addictied. I do belive, ıt because of better enemy aı and characters ın general. ( 12:06 chara was strong but the gameplay was personely awfull. And ı couldnt even play as other characters ıt was to hard for ıts own good. But now ı fellt like game ıs fix and mostly frisk gameplay ıs fix. Plus they even became my main XP farm! )

I couldn't beat Demonic Mode on Papyrus even on easy mode, but everyone else I did. I'm doing a followup video, and in it, I manage to beat the campaign as almost everyone. Flowey has a really funny trick that makes it stupidly easy. Asgore is impossible for all I know.
Now, I'm glad you bring up Frisk, because I regret how I structured my Frisk segment. I painted the rework as some kind of game killer, when in reality, their numbers were just undertuned at first and the followup patch (that I did not talk about) fixed that, then 1.6 had 3 main changes, one of them being that you no longer scale damage between phases, which turns it into "spam ranged slashes." I absolutely agree when I saw that the gameplay of old Frisk was terrible, but a part of me wishes they kept the scaling damage so that when you finally transform into nightmare Chara, you feel like you earned the power to delete your enemy, or at least you could in 1.5.2.
I have an entire document filled with a list of bugs I've encountered, and the character creator has a number of them.

And ı kinda also wish that we can still hit one shot as chara. For people who are new gonna have hard time beating the game anyway so ıt can be a good buff to hit one shot after beating the demonic mode.

Sadly 1.6 removed the ability to trigger demonic mode from hard 3 with endless badtime and zero cooldown.
I remember playing in an old version of the game and got evil chara she was so fast it was impossible to see what happened but the only thing i saw before losing is that sprite of dark chara with red smile and eyes , don't know why it was exhausted frisk when you played it, maybe there's a difference between pc and mobile?

It might be a bug with the specific version, but then again, the secret itself had a number of bugs that had Woloned remove it...at least for now. Funnily enough, he forgot about it until I messaged him about it.

Presumably, it should be possible. I can't prove that because I've only played the PC version of the game. However, trying to encounter it may be a slow process since in PC you can hit esc to go to the main menu at any point, whereas on mobile you have to kill, die, or close and re-open the game.

Btw here something i dislike about bonetale or no about the game more like how the people interpretat something, idk why but there's that massive misunderstanding in the community that the fights in Undertale are like some kind of anime fight, no they aren't, what you see on screen is how the fight goes, Frisk's attacks are autohit and buleta hit the soul not the body, bonetale kinda adds fuel to that misinterpretation.
Then explain how you could make it canon without it being boring or just straight up undertale
