"So I know you haven't even really started making the game, and only want to show off a mysterious teaser, but can you give me a detailed summary of the entire plot and backstory right here right now please thank you."-A good interviewer
Moments where Geoff Keighley shines are very few and far between, but this is exactly the situation when you need someone like him. He was famous in GameTrailers for getting very useful information from developers in very secretive game. He has a very effective way of getting information about upcoming games. I wish h would've followed up the last question with something like "But why this idea, now?" Apparently this wasn't an idea he had been working on just the first thing he did when he set up the studio and team, but why this and not another idea that interested him? His name is already established, is he trying to establish the studio or a franchise now?
***** well there's 5 figures in the sky and 6 of those strange dog tag things around his neck, I'm sure there's a connection though, Kojima is really into symbolism. The 5 figures in the sky looked like humans if you look closely. Easily the most interesting game at E3 this year imo, can't wait to play it in 2037!! :P lol
5 figures +1 Normad Reedus = 6 keys or dogtags around his neck. There's the connection. It's their tags including his around his neck, is my guess. There's a close up shot that shows advanced physics equations engraved on them too. Very interesting stuff. Speculations abound.
I know Kojima is a cool guy and everything. But he is a human being, not a God. Is it really needed to thank him and honoring his existence 10 times in one interview?
xValsion yeah that´s cool. but the interviewer could try to be a bit proffessional and not act like a 13 yo fan girl. He could appreciate him at the beginning and end. Not start every other question with " its such a honor for you to sit here with me,"
Exactly...Ben Bridge (the youtuber who just commented on your erroneous statement about "two faulty games", and who has been paying attention to the interview of Kojima) is right: Ludens is just a mascot. Essentially, Ludens embodies the essence of the creative ideologies and philosophies of Kojima Productions' art--or rather, game design (which I pretty much consider to be art).
So he said it has no relations with pt and it has action elements to it? I hope this is scary i dont want silent hills to be just a game that never came to be.
he is not working with Del Toro on this (DS) project, as he mentioned in interview. However, Kojima said - ,, ...we are not collaborating for *THIS* project with Del Toro". He explicitly said "This project", so I think that he will in next project.
+Antonín Boušek i just hope Kojima is messing with us with everything hes saying. Theres news that he secretly met with del torro and reedus. And he says that this trailer needs to be treated like a puzzle. I just hope this is silent hills
I predict the game is a scifi action with "psychological thriller" elements where the player is scared of the "Unknown" of the world. Norman Reedus's character had handcuffs in one arm and "dog tags" around his neck; implying he might of been a soldier but he might of done something against the ones he served. So he was arrested. Thus, the five floating people we see in the trailer might be his overlords/"Gods" where they banish him to this "wasteland" to die. And that's where the player will explore the "unknown".
+Cosmonic You can see on high resolution poster of DS ,that Normans character has some equations on "dog tags". One of them its related to black hole effect
+Cosmonic Dude, you probed my mind: That was EXACTLY one of two ideas i came up with. The baby? He was created to reproduce asexually by the 'gods' as a biological weapon. the incision in his abdomon was them removing his child so he couldn't! My other theory? Its a dream that PT's Norman Reedus is having while 'stranded' in the house :P
I highly doubt the game has even begun to be made. It seems like only an idea, so far. I don't think he's being secretive; I just think he doesn't know anything for sure himself.
Kojima is known for being very secretive about revealing games. His company has likely started the game but it won't be released for 2-3 years from now. We're lucky this game got announced at all.
+Harry Banova Thats being optimistic. It doesn't sound secretive. When they don't even have an engine yet, it seems pretty clear the game has not begun. 3-4 years at best.
Manuel Boglio They have developed similar assets on both engines and are deciding which ones they should use. Also the reason mgs5 took so long to come out was because they were being restricted by konami and they also had to build an entirely new engine to make this game. Now they already have two engines built with progress on either of them but they're just deciding which one to use.
Hm. I don't think Kojima even knows what he's doing fully. I think he just wants a game with Norman Reedus cuz P.T. Was cancelled. And just through a random trailer together
I know it's just your opinion, but do you really think that he doesn't know what he is doing? I mean, we are talking about a man who created MSG, and even then he doesn't reveal a lot until the game is released.
+Ricoshe Ric I'm just exaggerating. But I just felt from his answers in this interview he doesn't have a full game yet. It's not like the game is a huge sequel that has to be kept under wraps
ryann45 I see, maybe what you are trying to say is that he still does not have the full concept of the game yet? that would be possible and if it is the case I believe it would be more of polishing the ideas about the game. Afterall, Kojima is a crazy genius so sometimes people doesn't really understand what he is trying to say in his games lol
he obviously has an idea what the game will be, but spoiling it now, i.e promising content that might and WILL change during development would be a stupid idea.
He said in an article interview a little bit before E3 that his next game would play like Uncharted 4, generally speaking. Obviously with Kojima it won't be identical to that but he indicated that was the type of game/action he was trying to base his game around, obviously the great success of Uncharted 4 in terms of sales, popularity, and critical reception being a least partly an influencing factor. It's impossible to ignore for someone in a position like him, having visited Naughty Dog, partnered with Sony, looking how to make his next big game on his own... I don't think it's a stretch to say he was at least partially influenced there. If Uncharted 4 flopped I highly doubt he'd have said he was basing his next game loosely around how Uncharted plays, lol.
Fans of "Uncharted" and "The Division" will like this........hahahahahahahahahaaaa Fans look at this "DaFuq" :P Joking aside, I'm certainly intrigued by it
+Abrakadabra don't believe everything kojima says, when the phantom pain trailer was released, kojima said that he has nothing to do with it and that it wasn't a metal gear solid game. he loves trolling the audience, I'm sure the game is already in development
That smirk on his face. You just never know how he's gonna mess with us lol
"So I know you haven't even really started making the game, and only want to show off a mysterious teaser, but can you give me a detailed summary of the entire plot and backstory right here right now please thank you."-A good interviewer
Playable Teaser: nothing more, nothing less...
he asked all the right questions
No he didnt, need to know genre
He did ask, Kojima replied saying he wasn't able to say... Maybe he doesn't know himself yet
He failed to ask about the 5 figures in the sky, what do they represent? I'm confident Kojima would have said its a secret, but still...
4:22 LOL look at the guy in the backround
lol that's me
Man, it'll be forever before we really learn anything about this game, but Kojima hasn't let me down.
4:24
DAFUQ? what you're saying, mate?
lol that's me
3:21 That's a nice LIVE-E3 shirt that guy is wearing...oh

2019 at the most
He didn't ask about the 5 figures in the sky, what do they represent?
just a guess but they kinda looked like keys...maybe keys going to the 5 locks around his neck?. just speculating of course. 😹

1:40 This is not related to the game...
So this is Kojima's story in this trailer.
he already stated that at the beginning saying its the company trailer or better to say his live
if DS is good I wanna see Guillermo do the sequel! :D
OH my God...i must be from the future, cuz i allready own the 3rd game in the series! *holding up my 3DS*
BushinRyuCat does it have transfarring?
I know Kojima is a cool guy and everything. But he is a human being, not a God. Is it really needed to thank him and honoring his existence 10 times in one interview?
they are trying to appreciate and give this guy morale up after what Konami did..
xValsion yeah that´s cool. but the interviewer could try to be a bit proffessional and not act like a 13 yo fan girl. He could appreciate him at the beginning and end. Not start every other question with " its such a honor for you to sit here with me,"
well he is kind of a legend in the gaming sense and they are actually friends so maybe that's why he so easily compliments him
Wait what?! It's not even related to the Kojima's productions logo? He has released teaser stuff for 2 games that aren't even finished
it's a trap
No he hasn't? Ludens (the KP mascot) is not part of a game. He's is the mascot for the company itself.
Did you rike it?
That developer looks like the type to wear glasses. Maybe he has contacts.
So he said it has no relations with pt and it has action elements to it? I hope this is scary i dont want silent hills to be just a game that never came to be.

why the hell is daryl dixon from the walking dead in that game??
He's tired of walking dead, so he became death stranding.
why not? if you have the chance to move up in the world, you take it.
Because He is an actor and earn money with that...
they are really good friends
I don't get why this is even a question. this'll probably be the biggest role in reedus life, why would he turn it down in the first place?
I highly doubt the game has even begun to be made. It seems like only an idea, so far. I don't think he's being secretive; I just think he doesn't know anything for sure himself.

Hm. I don't think Kojima even knows what he's doing fully. I think he just wants a game with Norman Reedus cuz P.T. Was cancelled. And just through a random trailer together

It looks more like a David Cage game. I hope so.
reminds me of Bloodborne's DLC...
Yeah totally, with Kos on the beach I can see that
what the hell is that game?
I have absolutely no idea, but it looks amazing
Silent Hills: PT 2?
an upcoming possible masterpiece
My guess is mid 2018
Too early bro
kojima is the ultimate troll
wait, what happened to ludens
i dont believe ludens will have a game.... from what ive heard hes just kojimas team new mascot basically and no game is in development starring him
He does not look 52!
Kojima should take english(ingurish) classes.
seems to be very very good game but most of information about this game are secret.
hope this is not a FPS:(
kojima is smarter than that; he would almost never make an fps.
He said in an article interview a little bit before E3 that his next game would play like Uncharted 4, generally speaking. Obviously with Kojima it won't be identical to that but he indicated that was the type of game/action he was trying to base his game around, obviously the great success of Uncharted 4 in terms of sales, popularity, and critical reception being a least partly an influencing factor. weeb detected.. and fail grammar..
Fans of "Uncharted" and "The Division" will like this........hahahahahahahahahaaaa

More CGI 🤔
