I find it kind of crazy that Kojima is just...pulling in all these actors unfamiliar with games and somehow they're just falling in love with the project!? I mean, obviously they're not gonna say anything bad about it while they're working on it, but it's still remarkable and bizarre to see.
His vision for the game must be very compelling if he's able to convince people that are unfamiliar with gaming to devote themselves to the project. It's possible he gave them a monetary offer they couldn't refuse, but Norman and Lindsay seem genuinely interested.
@@jacobnapkins1155 the story was fantastic. The gameplay was really unique and interesting. The only issue with the game was it was a bit padded with random quests that messed up the pacing. However, I loved it regardless and am excited for the sequel because it is a one of a kind experience I doubt I’ll ever get again.
@@calvinbarboza I am really excited for the A24 film adaptation as well. Kojima has fantastic ideas and visions but his works don't always have the best writing/editing. A24 is among the absolute best in the film industry right now, I have high hope they'll be able to bring together people that could truly present and elevate the world of Death Stranding on the big screen!
Kojima has a great relationship with Geoff Keighley. After Kojima was let go amidst all the controversy of Konami's selfish greed and petty unprofessionalism a few years back, it was Geoff that fired back at Konami the loudest in defense of Kojima. I'm quite sure Kojima didn't forget that.

The theme of the game is about Connections. Not just fighting, connecting things together, and connecting the world together. That already is a fantastic concept to explore in a game and it already makes it different from all it's competition.
It's an online pizza delivering simulator with the ability to fit over 1000 players into one server from all corners of the world without any latency issues, truly a first of its kind.
So cool to see Lindsay back at work and in the game. It was a surprise for me when I saw her. I was transported back to the mid-70's when I first fell in love with her. Was always jealous of Steve Austin.
Lindsey Wagner is probably my favourite actress of all time, and it is deeply moving that Hideo Kojima made a massive epic with a huge budget to rejuvenate her and execute a complete depiction of her in the different ages of life. For me the greatest homage, and the situation reminds me of Lottie and Goethe from the Thomas Mann book

This E3 was very violent, but Death Stranding was so different, so calm, so reduced and minimalistic, but also so scary and threatening. Death Stranding will change Gaming.

Look how much of a game changer it was being able to fulton enemies off the map to work at motherbase in MGSVTPP I suspect this new game will introduce one or more of these kinds of features.
After watching this i am interested in this game even more. I am glad Kojima didnt leave behind the deep thoughts that were spread out through the whole Metal Gear Series because in the middle of all those game that had you shoot up guys by the hundred his games were so special. They didnt keep you from killing but they sure as hell didnt endorse you for it and the plot themselves had you know that its bad. Thats why Metal Gear Solid is still such a special game, especialy if you realize that it came out when game industry was still being born. And yet it had more depth and thought than lot of games have today.
We only see Sam walking and the other female character in the trailer. What was the he talking about "we see other characters walking around..."? Guess most people were thrown off by the character occasionally having his hair in a ponytail?
