I think it's gonna be more than $6k because they sold the R3 for $6500
Canon engineer before watching Jared's vid: "$4999 seems fair." After watching Jared's video: ...
Canon R1 will cost 9000 dollars making exclusive pro camera and will be sold on 2026
looks like it foes have very little focus breathing. nice!
You forgot Fuji…new lenses and cameras 😮
Hi Jared 👋
The info Canon gave us is the fact that the R1 is coming out.
Quite funny that most people don’t know that sigma is sony in all except visual ressemblance.
$7000. That's what I think it's gonna cost.
The R3 launched at $6000 and it was never the flagship, so I see the R1 coming in at $7000 or even $7500. They have to pay back all that development cost somehow, and the "I need an R1" crowd will fund it, then like the R3 the price will be dropped $1000 a few years later.
I figured straight up $10k.
Tried the Sigma 24-70 i and Sony GM ii back to back w dding film weekends, and liked it better than the Sony. Although it doesn't have stabilization, the FX3 has good enough stabilization, and and the AF/MF switch is in a better spot than the Sony, and easier to switch with my lens hand.
Its probably a 24 MP.
The R1 specs have been leaked already....
Supposedly
Adorama copy and pasted, word for word, from a January 2024 rumour post on CR that was sourced from Weibo. Adorama knows nothing from Canon.
$7500 US
It does not matter to me, I am a Nikon guy and Canon have never in my scope.... 😅😅
Ill buy nikon gear with those 4,999 usd
3:05 what movie was thatt??

The digic accelerator is probably some ai crap.
R1 blah blah blah, ok whatever. Now get around to announcing the R5 MKII already! Canon moves slower than a glacier. My camera has issues and I don't want to drop thousands on the R5 while the MKII is supposedly 'right around the corner', but if they keep dragging on I may not make it. Hurry up already, sheesh! At this rate the R5 MKII won't be out until 2029!
If Nikon put a release like Canon did , Fro would destroy them. But because is Canon ….
If they have a global shutter it will be a $7k body
People getting bent out of shape over the R1: 352,645,634
People actually planning to buy the R1: ???
Canon R1 will be 6999.99.
7k for r1
Any word about the "Soon to be realeased - as in July-August" R10 Mark II?
I'm holding off buying the R10 until I see what's up with the Mark II - if you have any reliable insight, I'd like to know.
Much appreciated!!!!
There's no way they're releasing an r10 mark II. The camera only released a couple of years ago. They typically refresh cameras after 4 years. Also, I've never heard of an r10 mark II. Whoever started that rumor might be doing some wishful thinking.
@@justinburley8659 Ah! Okay, then I'll buy the R10 - it IS your recommendation, yes?
@@usernamemykel I wouldn’t recommend it without knowing what you plan on using it for, but I just bought one myself to use for sports photography. It’s a very impressive camera for less than a grand (even more impressive when you use the fastest memory cards)
@@justinburley8659 Macro - have you used it for macro?
So the EYE CONTROL thing was bad in cameras? I was scared of it…Who would want the camera to focus where they look. Trying to take a picture of your wife and some hot lady walks by…OOPS…Well…that’s pictures ruined 😎🥳
Imagine if this Accelerator joined the L Mount alliance…
