    Calvin, I discovered your work not long ago and after watching pretty much most of your videos like if they were ice cream on a summer afternoon, I decided to invest in buying my first ever iPad and your brush set. I just did my first project following this step by step tutorial for this super cute house, and I’m thrilled! I am enjoying myself so much, thanks so much for creating and sharing such amazing lessons!! 😊

    Thank you, Calvin. One of the best things about your videos is that they are short and easy-to-follow. Even in our busy routine, we can find 15-20 minutes, which is a stress reliever for me, to create this beautiful art.

      awww thank you so much ❤️ sometimes I was worried they can be too long. I try my best to keep it less than 15 minutes. I'm so glad you enjoy the video! ☺️

    Wow! It looks so attractive in my eyes. Another challenging project for me but it’s worth it. I love fall season because of its colors. I just did your “Peaceful Autumn Forest” last month, so I will have 2 paintings if I successfully finish this new forest landscape. Thank you!

      No problem at all ☺️ I think the brightness slider thing is the most important aspect of the gradient map. I wish procreate explained or noted this somewhere. I learned about it from Photoshop tutorials. My video for this Thursday will largely be about using the Gradient map to re-color this daytime scene into a night scene.

    I just finished my art work. It looks nice but a little pudgy. 😅The Blacksands Watercolor Paper is perfect for this digital painting. The texture is visible on the leaves, especially, the first layer after the sky. It’s a hill but just imagine it a vast lush rainforest. It’s beautiful! I learned couple of things from this tutorial: Organizing, Gradient Map, and Color Fill-in, etc. are cool tools. As always, thank you Calvin for your unselfish tutorial session!!!

      aww thank you so much 🥹 I would love to see anything you paint - you can always send it to me on the Etsy chat! The tutorial for this Thursday will be a bit more about gradient map and some tricks to make the colors of an artwork look like a night scene. You can also apply these same techniques to change the 'feeling' of an artwork quit a bit. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video 🙏

    Hi, Calvin! I really enjoy painting with you and your brushes are amazing! Thank you so much for doing what you’re doing 🎉
    My light color trees tend to be transparent (although the opacity is 100%) I can see the green background underneath. Please help 😢

    Thank you so much for your products and tutorials on RUclips. They are so helpful and just amazing! That’s why I registered on Etsy especially for buying two of your products. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it twice. It’s so sad! Would you be so kind to help me figure out what the problem is? And is there any way to buy your products in the final? Thank you!😊

    How to setting the paper texture, it must on the top layer?

    • @calvinatdrifterstudio8438
      @calvinatdrifterstudio8438  10 месяцев назад

      hi! Yes the paper texture should be above the artwork. This is becuase the layers in procreate work from top to bottom.
