@@purevycara nothing is that difficult when you have a studio endless tracks that you can take over and over and instruments I could do that if I had the right equipment
Well this is a phenomenal performance. Wow!!! You are like a one man Beach Boy "wrecking crew" on vocals. I will be watching this forever . Someone get this to Brian Wilson.
Crazy, I has tears in my eyes while listening to that. Keep this to Brian Wilson, soon he will be speakless about those great harmonic voices. Brillant job, man!
@DarknessHowls No, I can't read sheet music, I just go by ear. If you search for "our prayer separate harmonies", there is a video posted by dmcguire that is very handy when learning the harmonies for the prayer.
Utterly amazing, fella!! So how the hell did you record and hear the track without it spilling into your mic (I don't see headphones)?? Or did you record tracks alone and then splice? (And if so - how did you resolve the timing issues?) Just amazing - well done!!!
Thank you, Robert! That a young man such as yourself can appreciate such musical artistry (and do a decent job of reproducing it) gives me hope for the future.
What a wonderful boy!...........How wonderful you !!... great !!!!!!!!!! I have been impressed!.......My deepest congratulations! So they sing! A hug for you from Spain!
Absolutely incredible- I still cannot believe the full complex melodies are so perfect- Great job- I really appreciate your version-Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this is not only amazing, but a thing of beauty! Also, I luv the way that some of you disappear occasionally, presumably to get changed. :) Thank you.
@foutupourfoutu Yeah, unfortunately I think the third to last(?) passage of Prayer is a bit out of tune and I don't know why I didn't go back and fix it, but oh well. Such is life.
Actually, there's a wrong note on 0:37 You have an F there, but it's really F# :p But other than that, really great! Did you use your ear to pick out each voice? Or did you find the sheet music first?
You sure about that? First of all, there _is not either_ supposed to be a G-flat there (the song's in E-flat minor, so we call F# "Gb"). There IS an F natural as the harmonies run through Abmaj, Bbmaj, Eb/Db, Ab/C, and so on. There are F and G naturals in the first two measures of that sequence. Gb doesn't occur until the third measure. Secondly, what happens at 0:37 is a repeat of the sequence at 0:14. Are you saying he's wrong both times? 'Cause he sounds _right_ both times to me. I don't have "perfect pitch", but I have damn good relative pitch AND the sheet music book. Which is one of the better ones ever published by any artist. I may not know when a singer's a few "cents" sharp or flat, but I know a completely wrong note when I hear it.
Wow, that's impressive! Great harmony. Must've taken forever. May I ask what programs you used to record the sound / video and then combine all the videos in collage like that? I've really been wanting to try something similar.
_Really_ impressive, Robby Gotshall I didn't even miss the instruments, except maybe during "Gee" a little bit. I have an important question about "Our Prayer": The sheet music book transcribes the piece as if there are only four individual vocal parts. True? I notice there are 12 of you in this scene. Are you triple-tracking your vocals, or are you singing more than four parts? Trying to sing it myself isn't really an option, but when I fumble through the arrangement on piano, it sounds pretty much right with four voices.
Whilst not necessarily going to the life-saving extremes of BigHerm1033 below(!), I just want to say I really loved this and am so impressed. Whether it's the best thing on RUclips I cannot say (I haven't seen it all!) but as a response to The Fendertones you have met their challenge. Astonishing.
Great job. I don't know if it's the mic, the program, or the transfer to youtube, but its sounds muddy, like it's filtered, not clear and sharp. I'm unsure how to describe it in recording terms.
@ocguitar Thanks! I used Acoustica Mixcraft to record and mix the sound, Logitech webcam software to record the video, and Sony Vegas to edit the video together.
Bro really covered one of the best and vocally difficult 3 track starts to an album ever and dipped
its really not that difficult
@@gimpyjwilliams not that difficult? Let's hear you do this
@@purevycara nothing is that difficult when you have a studio endless tracks that you can take over and over and instruments I could do that if I had the right equipment
@@purevycara I agree really, if you know the tracks well enough you can hear it all just by listening to it in real time
@@gimpyjwilliams would love to hear your version, but your channel doesn't have any content.
it took your entire wardrobe to record this song
🤣
Well this is a phenomenal performance. Wow!!! You are like a one man Beach Boy "wrecking crew" on vocals. I will be watching this forever . Someone get this to Brian Wilson.
This is impressive, this is the only non auto tune cheesy beach boy cover. I wish you sung louder on the lead vocals. But good Job.
Our Prayer was slightly fast but probably the most accurate acapella cover I've ever heard. Well done man.
I thought it sounded near identical to the original, especially in the beginning
Yes, the absolute best I've ever heard.
Bro, you have to send this in to Brian Wilson. He will absolutely love it!! Great job!
Sounds more “Smiley Smile” than the official “Smiley Smile” version, great work!
That’s because this version is the Smile version of it
The fact that this is amazing and still not as good as the Beach Boys just confirms how untouchable that band was
Your version “Our Prayer” sounds almost identical to the original. It’s incredible
#This is incredible-my dad saw this and said "Why are people on talent shows famous and this guy isn't" Congratulations on a great piece of work
Crazy, I has tears in my eyes while listening to that. Keep this to Brian Wilson, soon he will be speakless about those great harmonic voices.
Brillant job, man!
It's great that people like you are covering such masterpieces, and sharing them to a new age. But the hardest part is pulling it all off- amazing.
Your obviously a very clever young man. Amazing, thank you. Wonder what Brian Wilson would think. I think he'd be impressed with you
Well done! You've captured the spirit of the originals perfectly!
When Heroes and Villains begun I got shivers! That was fucking great!
I want to see more covers from you like this. It's so good. All the details are there.
@DarknessHowls No, I can't read sheet music, I just go by ear. If you search for "our prayer separate harmonies", there is a video posted by dmcguire that is very handy when learning the harmonies for the prayer.
Whoa! I had to listen to it several times to really believe you did this. Excellent job.
This is INSANELY good!!! Goosebumps throughout! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Nice! I love the fact that someone as young as you has taken such joy in this music. Thanks dude!
SMiLE is out now. What do you think of it?
Please tell me you’re still singing in some capacity to this day! This is astoundingly great. The world needs harmonies like this
FANTASTIC. yes Brian Wilson would love this!
Amazing! SMiLE is my favourite album of them.
Dear singer,
I write songs in Brazil. If you come here, anytime, it would be a great honour recording some songs with you.

Wow, very impressive! I love to see the younger generation embrace Brian's music.

Very authentic, and well delivered!

Totally awesome. WoW dude you got it going on for real. What a joy!
hope you are still making music, that was fantastic!
This is just amazing. Love to hear your version of Don't talk, put your head on my shoulder or Surfs Up.
Excellent!!! If Brian watches this, I know he will be proud.
You, sir, are a creative genius! I tip my hat to you, and I'm sure Brian Wilson does as well.
This is brilliant ! Well done !!
Bravo!!!!! I do the same when listening the song in my car, but all the voices and sounds at a time, ha ha ha! Well done, Robert!!!
Wow you really nailed "Our Prayer". That's impressive! Great job.
Robin ... brilliant highly impressed x
Sensacional! Parabéns, cara!
Very good! Congratulations, man!
Did you happen to make sheet music for this? If so could I have it?
You are agenius, man! From now you are one of my heroes!
Really Impressed with your work, you should come down to San Diego and do a show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 voices are the minimum, but if you want it to sound like the originals, double or triple the vocals as Brian Wilson did.
@BB45s Thanks! I'm doing a couple more covers and some original songs next. Maybe I'll do more Beach Boys in the future, we'll see. (I probably will)
WOW!
