Keep them coming, Also your was outstanding, Also Superb Comic Book Haul or should I say Superb Final Back Issue Haul of 2023- Fifty Cent Warehouse Sale inculding the following Comic Books they are:1.A+X(limited series)#11(2013),2. Action Comics(1st series)#584(1986/1987),3.Guardians Of The Galaxy(1st series)#25(1992), Also thank you for sharing Northgarden Comics or should I say Chris, keep up the good work stay safe out there and have a Happy & Wonderful New year.🙂💪🏋️🦸👊🟢🇺🇲 5:04 am.
Those Superman issues have triangles on the cover (1991 to 2002) that have the year and order o read them in for the particular year.; there are places online that show the year and order of the books in which to read them.
Another awesome "small haul"! I can definitely see the struggle with multi series, same hero wish list dilemma. Especially with the many volumes both companies are making out of the same series now. Looks like you've had a great year in collecting, Chris! Glad i could be around see it!
Someone recommended I use the series group feature to better see a group of related titles. I tried it and it seems really helpful. Now, all my Superman issues and wish list are one easy filter click away. Have a Happy New Year Richard! Thanks for all you’re watching and engagement.
You're always bringing the goods with the sale hauls. That Action Comics Annual looks nice. I'm gonna have to look into that one. And about that Adventures of Superman issue you showed, I have a bunch of Superman from around that time because I liked the art and several of the creators working on the books during that era. And I'm definitely one of those comic fans who has several stories in multiple formats. I've picked up numerous collected editions of stories even though I've already read the single issues. Happy comic hunting!
While I usually favor single issues there are some titles I prefer as a collected edition. Like if I’m only going for a specific era or run and just want the whole story. Also, I tend to double dip when it’s a favorite run or story. Then, even though my singles are hidden away in a comic box, I can enjoy the collected edition on a shelf. Have a Happy New Year!!
Great to see another local making comic content! I’ve given up on worrying about double dipping on books. If the price is low enough, it’s a loss I can afford, and sometimes it works out (if I have a DM variant and what I picked up was a newsstand). Those Spider-Carnage were some of my first Spidey comics I got back in the 90’s. I think my first Fallcon I went to I was able to pick up part one of that arc. The dealer knew what title and issue it was and that impressed teenage me.
Im regards to keeping your Superman wishlist straight, I'd recommend using the 'Series Group' field in CLZ. You can label all the different Superman titles with the same Series Group and then filter by Series Group then, secondly, by Series. This will cut down on scrolling. You could even filter further if you specify either there someplace like perhaps in 'Tags' that it's of that specific era of Superman.
I struggle with that dilemma also, I have the single issues of Batman...Chip Zdarsky's run but I just bought the collected edition of his first Batman story line FAILSAFE... It's crazy I have the single issues so why do I need to buy the collected edition? I beat myself up over this because this logically makes no sense... If I didn't have the single issues I could understand buying the collected edition but it makes no sense to have both. I'm glad I'm not the only one that suffers with this
Thanks for sharing. When I double dip I do remind myself that the different formats can serve different purposes. My singles live in dark short boxes for example but for some of my favorite stories sometimes it’s nice to have a collected edition to display on a shelf and open up to read easily or share with someone. Happy New Year!

Thanks! I’m glad you liked it.
That Action Comics Annual1 is probably one of the best single issue stories from the beginning of the Post-Crisis era.
Sweet! Looking forward to giving it a read.

That’s helpful thanks! And Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing. I will usually only grab new stand and direct edition. But I am good with just having one or the other happy new year.
Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year to you too!

I’m the same with direct/newsstand. Definitely not a true duplicate.
Do you still hit the local shows like FallCon?
Not so much lately. I can’t remember the last time I went.

Clz comic app is the best for inventory of your collection. Been using it for three years now .
That is simple yet elegant. Just finished setting this up. Super helpful, thank you!
I don’t own many Omnibus just the single issues.
Same here. I like the Omni’s but only have a small collection. I definitely favor the single issues. Happy New Year!
