Bro I’ve loved bikes my whole life and I’m just now learning to ride one. The idea of that being me in the hospital terrifies me, I just hope to God I meet people half as awesome as y’all when I get my license. Hope your buddy is doing better
Y’all need to get some saddle bags. You are struggling just to carry some Gatorade! I can carry 2 paper bags 2/3 full with a couple more items if needed.
We ride these bikes like sport bikes and lane split everyday. Respectfully. We’re not gonna do all that for one day. And when we brought a bigger care package used cars lol.

When I started riding there was like 2 videos on RUclips. Now there is more videos to detour you and scare you from even starting than not. “7 mistakes new riders make” “Dan Dan the fireman” “don’t make this new rider mistake” “body positioning” blah blah to the point your thinking to much. I tried to send my friend who’s starting some new rider videos and found myself getting more detouring stuff that makes the entire thing feel overwhelming. I say just have fun.
@@lifeofcorn894Dan Dan is actually a good channel to watch if you watch the bike maneuver vids. The crash vids abt lane positioning is ehat I watched for about a month before I hopped on a bike. Helped tremendously. Realistically it's the mindset because I grew up building mountain bikes and riding them on busy London roads so I couldn't care less if I see a video with someone's leg getting ripped off (obviously I have sympathy but it won't affect my want to ride) That being said if videos DO detour you then you ARE soft. Have fun and be safe is all it ism

I like your style. grew up riding brakeless bmx bikes and track bikes in San Francisco streets. so like you traffic and splitting we don't bat an eye. ride safe, but have fun!
