Awesome to see the gxr600 back in action! I have a 23 gsx S1000 and it’s one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned and I’ve had many (I’m 49). Love Suzuki!!!
I’m 63 and have owned many bikes, I have a 11 gixxer 600 and I have to say it perfect, plenty of power and handles like a dream, a really good set of tyres improves cornering substantially, I put on a set of pirelli super corsa 2 plenty of grip.
So glad I found your content. I just bought my 2024 gsx-r 600 (black and blue) for my first bike and man that thing is a monster. I absolutely love it. Love your reviews and you earned another subscriber
Beautiful bike, no doubt about it. I think you’ll love that Ninja 1000 SX if you get ahold of it. So comfortable and smooth. I got on a Gixxer 750 before to see how it felt--I felt crunched into a ball 😂getting old!! But that ninja 1000 is sweet
There GPS REMOTES for my two cameras, they start and stop the cameras and the big one for the Insta360 Ace pro let's you see what the camera is recording live , so I know I'm shooting the best Angle.
600 is the ideal bike for street and track imho. I rode a Busa a while back and was really surprised on how well balanced it is and easy to ride. I just didn’t get out of 2nd gear 👍
I think the gsxr 600 transmission is the real gem in the package..my guess is the 600 gsxr transmission is the most complex component Suzuki manufactures...PERCISION ..zero tolerance cut gears...the 750 gets a cheaper tranny..that's how the price is so close ...just m ughhh guess..
Nice! Classic bike bro, love the rawness of Suzuki! No fuss, no muss. I'm riding a Duke 890R at the moment and loving it! Seems like the specs on the 600's are pretty close to mine, 123hp/70fpt and 390lbs. Might be a good race? On a private track, of course 😅. Thanks for reviewing it brother! Much love 👊😎🤙
For some reason, the blue wheels are available on this particular year and model, but they’re also available on the new GSXR 750 but the website of Suzuki does not show anything with blue wheels. Any ideas?
Ah yeah enjoyed riding my gixxer to bikes and coffee and meeting ya! Wish I could’ve stuck around for lunch 😩 see ya at the next one 👍 I’ll even wear the chrome shark helmet again😂
The gsxr 600 is a great bike. Looking at this or the Kawasaki zx6r or the zx4rr. Trading in my ninja 400 on whatever I decide on. Really like the way the zx4rr felt. Had the chance to put a deposit on a 40th anniversary one so waiting for that to come in.
i cant decide if i want the grey and red one allthough iv seen some up cloas epictures and the grey looks veryplasticy...is that accurate in person? i havent been able to find one near me to look at yet
The 600 and 750 had a big upgrade in 2011 and in Britain was designated the L1 the only thing that has changed over the years is the colour scheme. So if want save a load of money buy an older bike with low mileage. The A and B mode is sport and rain only. No traction control, quick shifter no ABS, all this is in your right wrist. I have a 2011 L1 a brilliant bike.
Another great video …. Love the enthusiasm and the detail…. The camera is great too..who is this motorcycle geared for ….. U know guys want the liter bikes and the ultra high end BMW, Ducati, R1M, etc…. This one for beginners?
No maybe not a beginner, but not for the 1 liter only guys- it's a Awesome bike for the money- no doubt!! thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
@@RayBowdenRides went with the GSX-R the rebates they were offering and everything I couldn't pass, plus they only had the 40th anniversary zx6r which I'm not a fan of the scheme on.
Hey Ray! Getting closer to being able to make a purchase. Always enjoy your content and I appreciate you responding to a few of the questions I've had before. Again I am a very newer rider but I plan on riding as much as I possibly can including getting on track. I've decided on starting on a 600 super sport and using my Marine discipline in me lol to stay safe. Do you have a particular favorite between the 600 yourself? The Gixxer, ZX6R, heard Honda's even bringing the CBR back. I know all the new technology helps with newer riders but I'm also an older school kind of guy. Meaning the tech is great if it's on the bike I pick if it's not I am totally satisfied with learning more old school and traditionally. Let me know your thoughts if there is a model you would lean towards as a first bike. Thanks again for your help and I will be coming out to Dallas to make the purchase.
If you don't care for the teck on bikes - your probably better of with Suzuki, It's just what really appeals to YOU, It's your money and you work hard for it so do what your gut tells you to do! Always good talking to people that have restraint and questions. Just do your due diligence! Stay in Touch and I'll talk to soon my friend! Just take it slow and be careful 🙏🏻.
I sat on the same bike in that dealership last weekend! Nice to see someone in the plano area!😃 Thinking about getting one and this video helped a lot, thank you!!!
For sure man! I honestly dont know whether or not I want to get the gsxr600 or sportster 1200 cause ive sat on both and really love both. And again thank you for a great review!!!
Blue looks great. Shout out to the new riders out there, if you are in the market for a new bike, the GSXR600 could be perfect, fully analog old school bike, easy to operate and maintain. And, if the GSXR600 gets discontinued, then it might really hold its value like the defunct R6. The 750 is the better all arounder, but I like the 600 motor better, it makes more noise at idle and when downshifting, it is an exciting fun bike to ride. Yammi's are prettier, and more premium perhaps, but the GSXR600 is a very fun bike to ride, keeps you entertained.
Hey Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, I can tell you have been Riding for a while- Ride Safe and hopefully talk tou you again my friend!! Have a Awesome 2024.
Ray, great review! I am going to be purchasing a 2024 600 this spring and am locked between this and the zx 6r non ABS. I believe the zx is 11,399.00 and comes with the quick shifter but no stabilizer. If you had to pick the zx6r or the gsxr which way would you go? I also love the tft display on the zx6r. Thanks and keep em coming!
I like the looks of zx6r a little better myself but , and you can always ad a stabilizer, but that's just me! Thanks for the kind words and Commenting & Watching the video. Let me know what you do, Ride safe and God bless! If you can try and get the 40th Anniversary zx6r . That thing is going to be extra special!
This is just my own opinion, and take it with a grain of salt because I’ve never had a 1000 but you cannot go wrong with a 600 to start. I absolutely have loved all 3 600s I’ve had and never felt I needed to go to the 1000. They are quick, nimble machines and a ton of fun. Whichever you choose, good luck and safe rides 👍🏻👍🏻
@Jeremeytickle27 they are truly a AWESOME machine, 600's are a really good choice to start on! You still need some Right Hand restraint. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
O yes I keep her spotless it's The only way to keep it in good shape I had the z900 before that 2021 all that modes I wasn't fussed on and the wind hits you more on the naked bike
Great review, sir. Looking to get a sports bike next. This was very informative. GSXR seems to be a solid pick. Do these come with the option of adding ABS? I don't need TCS per se, but ABS would be nice. Keep up the great work!
The front headlights look the same as the older ones! I wish itd have some led headlights not halogens in 2024 and 2025. I hope theres aftermarket headlights for this. Id want some leds something bright . I do love the turn signals integrated into the side mirrors the side mirrors look like a cars 😂
Nice video. I love this 600 specially in this colour. I never want them to change this look as still I don’t have enough money to buy here in India😅,( imp duty tax is nearly 100%,not officially launched here). I’m 30 still like old looks of bike with that analog rpm meter and been fan since kid.Hoping still to get one😊 glad to see you riding them & enjoying, ❤from🇮🇳.
Man I miss my GSXR 600. I miss riding in general. Genuinely considering either the GSXR 600 or the 750. I’m also kinda digging the looks of the new ZX-6R. Wouldn’t mind a MT 07 or 09. But after that video you did on the GSXS 1000 it’s crept into my mind a time or two. Don’t know what to come back on.
Also surprised there still doing the brake reservoir oil like that still. Looks old school. They need more change its 2024 even the 2025 looks the same. A couple changes qnd its perfect
Hey Ray I have a question I’m 18 and want to get a motorcycle I was gonna get a Ninja 400 but from the reviews I watched it’s too small for me I’m a pretty big guy (6’3) so do you think this bike is a bad beginner bike? In the video you say beginners shouldn’t start on it but I’m very stubborn and probably gonna get it anyway so like can you tell me what to expect?
It would be a Great bike - but take it EASY, TAKE it slow , no group Rides for a while- it's really up to how much Restraint you have!! If you make bad decisions- you'll get bad out comes!! Thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Please promise me your going to take it EASY! Stay in touch and let me know how it goes.
During the 600 mile break in I believe you keep it under 8000 RPM, this makes for a very docile experience. I was talked out of a Ninja 300 when I first started, bought the FZ6R instead (detuned R6). I got a GSXR600 6months later. Anyway, I progressed through GSXR750, then to R1, and now all the way back to another GSXR600 over a decade later. The best thing about the 600 is you have fun spinning the motor without going to fast (at least under 10K RPM), just put it in 4th or 5th and roll on the throttle and it is plenty of fun without going warp speed. Riding the R1 behind slow traffic is actually frustrating, then you start passing everyone, because you can. On the 600, you rejoin normal society, and pass when safe, and just have fun, no need to be riding at dangerous speeds all the time. Just got back from a trip out on some of my favorite country roads, had so much fun, and never even went triple digit, it just isn't necessary to go so fast all the time.
How can Kawasaki make a ZX6R 1k cheaper then the GSX-R6? It has a quick shifter, and a slipper clutch. I test rode a new GSX-R6 today and really enjoyed it but it is more expensive then the Kaw. and has less. Halogen head light WTF. The flap on the gas cap for the key is a thin pease of plastic. It's an over priced old school bike. Still fun to ride though. I liked it because it has a shorter seat hight and it was a lot lighter than the Kawi. I need to test ride the Kawi.
@@RayBowdenRides I will. I have to travel 70 miles to even get to a dealer who offers test rides. I have a few Japanese dealers closer but they wont let any one test ride or except trade in's. If I decide to buy another new bike it will come from a dealer that offers test rides and trade in's. I don't have any close to me except Harley. I will travel to this dealer to buy a new bike just to promote them.
Another awesome bike I didn't think suzuki where making these anymore... I know I got told.from my dealer that they were stopping production...especially the gsx s.
I technically never rode an actual supersport as my first bike ever being a kawasaki650r which is a double twin and my current bike now a can of tuna (katana) which everybody hates, lol, a sport-touring gsx750F, but its super comfortable with high cruiser-like handle bars. But I bought it used and always the thought of it messing up while riding due to xyz makes me nervous. I would like to buy another brand new bike, like my first kawi, but my question is, can these supersport bikes' handlebars be raised for a more upright feel?
I want to say you can change the top triple tree out and convert it to bars - but it's a bunch of work. You need to just buy a GSXS 1000, 11,600 AND it's a done deal . I've got one in my first Rides play list - Seriously one of the funnest bikes I've ever rode.
@carlcarlssen4299 that will put you real close then - Sportbike for sure, I rode a Aprilia Tuono 660 factory that's 399.0 lbs- it's in my play list. It'd 100 hp stock and super comfortable!
@@RayBowdenRides I intend to pay for more lessons and courses but im not rich so im trying to find a bike that i like but wont kill me and one i can keep for a long time
I tell people that if you’re only going to ride in the city, not out of town, then a 600 or 750 is fine. If you’re riding the highway and going out of town then a 1000. Main reason is going out of town on a 600 or 650 isn’t fun. Not enough power or weight, imo. That said, I ride a 1000 around town. So I don’t follow my own advice. lol But I know how to ride a litre bike in the city.
That's great advice. I'm getting that summertime bike fever again! What are your thoughts on riding a 600cc bike on the interstate (i.e., about 10 miles one way) for commuting to work? Would it have sufficient power and performance for the traffic conditions?
@@Micah6.8 600cc is a good choice for you. A naked 750 would be ok too. The only riding difference between a 600 and 1000 on local highways is which gear and RPM range you’re in to average 65 mph, (or whatever speed you plan on driving at). A 600cc is cheaper, lighter, not as wide in some cases, and they won’t feel as hot as a 1000cc. The only practical reason to get a big bore bike is if you’re traveling long distances. Enjoy your ride!
There both really Really good , I like the Suzuki's Simplicity, but I love the Kawasaki's looks - I would have to flip a coin - there Both Awesome, Heads Kawasaki, tails Gsxr. Thanks for watching and Commenting herb 🙏🏻. Have a Awesome 2024.
Kawasaki if you want electronics and features, GSXR if you want simplicity. Comes down to personal preference. I'm a CBR guy, but I own a GSXR600 as well. Love my Suzuki.

600s are the best
They are Awesome 👌
Nice video. I love this 600 specially in this colour. I never want them to change this look
as still I don’t have enough money to buy here in India😅,( imp duty tax is nearly 100%,not officially launched here). I’m 30 still like old looks of bike with that analog rpm meter and been fan since kid.Hoping still to get one😊
glad to see you riding them & enjoying, ❤from🇮🇳.
Hey thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Hopefully you can get one!
That GSXS is awesome, Hey thank you for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, Let me know what you do!!!
I just wish they’d stick a fuel indicator on it. Idk why they won’t 😂
Me either, Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
This bike does have a Fuel Indicator for low Fuel. Do you mean Fuel Gauge Level?
@CheezyBurg3r thanks for Commenting!!
Does Anthony still work there? He sold me my vstrom back in 2022, lol.
No not that I know of. Thanks for Watching and Commenting Ray!!
I like how you ride you got confidence

Very nice bike man... i have a 2012 cbr 250 Repsol but the gsxr 600 is my girl that i really want
Get you one my friend!! Thanks for Commenting and watching 🙏🏻, Get the bike- don't be a Stranger!
Anyone know the difference between the gsxr600 and gsxr600Z?
I'll chk into that for you!
Paint. The z has motogp livery: Blue and white
@undernova777 yes sir! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME rest of your week!
Makes you wonder huh! Make sure you ride the Kawasaki. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a great Sunday!!!
Which is more comfortable? the gsxr 600 or 750?
750 to me,but you need to try one yourself. Thanks for watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, hope to talk again soon!!
The two bikes are exactly the same other than the 750 is a little heavier
@jimamizzi1 Thanks for Commenting, Thanks for being apart of the Channel!

Is this a good beginner
Fast bike is all would tell you. Probably not.
This is about to be my first bike. Just ride safe and stay alert
@Nova-ju3iu let me know when you get it! Congratulations my friend!
anything can be a beginner bike if you have big enough balls respect it and you will be fine
@JamesKnotts123123123 True True! Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
Another awesome bike I didn't think suzuki where making these anymore... I know I got told.from my dealer that they were stopping production...especially the gsx s.
Thanks for commenting Wesley, Ride Safe talk again soon.
Am 54 I had gsxr600 six months ago then I traded it in bought zx4rr 40th anniversary
What you think about the Zx4RR, Pretty incredible huh?
This guy is the coolest haha
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻 my friend!!!
@@RayBowdenRides reason im eyeing a supersport 600 is cause of the weight savings. Im tryina be as close to 400lbs as possible.
@carlcarlssen4299 that will put you real close then - Sportbike for sure, I rode a Aprilia Tuono 660 factory that's 399.0 lbs- it's in my play list. It'd 100 hp stock and super comfortable!
@@RayBowdenRides ok cool ill check that Aprilia out. Thx.
@carlcarlssen4299 have a great weekend!
Nice camera and just like I’m riding with you so it’s damn nice
Thanks Duane!! 🙏🏻 thanks for the Kind words my friend!!
Is it a lot scarier on that without abs?
No , Have you ever rode a motorcycle?
@@RayBowdenRides I passed the motorcycle safety course half a year ago. But I have not been on anything higher than 200cc.
@SIRA063 when you do get a bike- just be very CAREFUL!!! STAY IN TOUCH.
@@RayBowdenRides I intend to pay for more lessons and courses but im not rich so im trying to find a bike that i like but wont kill me and one i can keep for a long time
@SIRA063 this is a very fast bike - use. Extreme CAUTION!!
Yes I used w ride a 86 Ninga
Oh cool 😎, Hey thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride Safe and have a Awesome 2024.
Well said, Thanks for watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride Safe and don't be a stranger!!
@Micah6.8 definitely yes, Great choice!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Ride SAFE and don't be a Stranger!!!
@@SteveSteeleSoundSymphony Thank you for the guidance. Cheers.

The back brakes on the gsxr are pure crap
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Don't like the brakes on a gsxr huh? Thanks for being apart of the Channel!!
2024 Kawasaki ninja 636 or 2024 Suzuki 600?
There both really Really good , I like the Suzuki's Simplicity, but I love the Kawasaki's looks - I would have to flip a coin - there Both Awesome, Heads Kawasaki, tails Gsxr. Thanks for watching and Commenting herb 🙏🏻. Have a Awesome 2024.
I like the Suzuki & the Kawasaki ,but if I get another sports bike, it will definitely be another GSX-R!
@j-bird6563 Suzuki's are AWESOME for sure!
Kawasaki if you want electronics and features, GSXR if you want simplicity. Comes down to personal preference. I'm a CBR guy, but I own a GSXR600 as well. Love my Suzuki.
The 24 zx6 has less hp and less top end. It had to be changed due to emissions
Formula 1 . . . . ليت الشباب

Honestly ive been so disappointed with Suzuki ive bought my first gsxr600 back in 07 out the lot sold it back in 2017 and been itching to get back into riding, from time time since i sold it i would check and see any updates and Wow same bike for years besides some color changes damn near still look like my 07 extremely disappointed with Suzuki
