Mat Ishbia has the most extreme case of NOS (New Owner Syndrome) I've seen in my limited time following basketball. He comes in, and two days later trades for KD. The following offseason, he trades everything else they have in terms of picks for Bradley Beal. NOS can destroy franchises and it's done that with the Suns.
Obviously he's a GAMER! Man has to have over 1,000 hours playing MyLeague on 2K! But on a serious note, he deserves every cite of criticism he's been given lol.
He's taking a gamble. Cant say the same for most owners/GMs. Look over at the Miami Heat right now. They clearly are a contender that needs ONE superstar/star piece to get them over the hump. I was not advocating for the removal of the charge, what Kevin Love did to Giannis was a foul and a dangerous one. Giannis was already airborne when Love was moving underneath him. It’s not a charge since he wasn’t set, his feet were still moving when contact was made. If you aren’t getting your hands up to contest the play, that should be a foul. Moving into the landing zone of shooters is already a foul, moving into the landing area of an already airborne dunker should be too.
