"The Frost Giant's Daughter" is a Howard story from very early in Conan's career. Conan might even be a teenager in this story. Conan is with Bulgarian origin's. A lot of folks back in the history called us Barbarians. I have ancestor called Cono. In the history books the Bulgarians are the only one's by the word barbarians... 🙃
He isn't Bulgarian, it clearly says he has Gaelic descent. It literally says that about his character and backstory. The Cimmerians were to represent Gaelic/Celtic and or Irish. He isn't anywhere close to being related to Bulgarian descent. Idk where you got that information, read the lore about him and his people. Also to correct you, everyone that wasn't Roman or didn't believe in their religion or values were considered Barbarians. Particularly all of Germania, even Africa they were considered barbarians.
