Hey! I know what the black flicker on PS5 is. If you switch between graphics modes too much it basically makes the game go crazy. A full restart fixes it.
I have already contacted Techland support team on the implementation of next gen graphics and performance of this game. I am liking the gameplay but playing on PS5 with 1800p at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps is totally unacceptable! I would encourage everyone to put pressure on Techland to improve this next gen version ASAP. I mean I have literally played many games on original PlayStation 4 that can run games in 1080p at 60fps so why now on PS5?!. it needs at least dynamic 4k 60fps or 1800p at 60fps and native 4k 30fps.
I play it on series x the game locks on pretty good to 60fps on my 4K Samsung tv. The distance afar looks kinda ass but up front it’s not even noticeable compared to ps5 both look exactly the same
This is what you get for playing on console, normally they prefer graphics over performance, I play this game in 4K ultra with RTX on my 4070Ti at more than 90FPS, that's why it is that expensive, you can't pretend to have top tier graphics with top performance on cheap machine, IGNORANT.

The PS4 is running at a lower resolution than 900p. It runs at around 850p. 900p would look less blurry. Nonetheless, it's still good performance and if you are gaming on a 1080p TV you will get used to the low resolution. Other than that, there isn't that much of a difference compared to the big boys. PS4 Pro looks very decent and perfectly playable.
The biggest difference for me is that on ps5 you can change the FOV and on ps4 you cannot. 60fps with wider fov feels completely different than the ps4 version.

Weird that they didn't initially enable FSR for the PS5 to have any sort of 4K 60fps. The RTX mode on PS5 turned out to be somehow unsuccessful, as it takes 30 frames per second, but nothing noticeably improves.
Yes, this technology is not enough for the next generation of consoles. It was interesting to see the result, if this technology appeared during the past generation of consoles, then all games would go in FHD 60fps, and the PlayStation 4 Pro had native 4K resolution and 60fps. Too bad we don't know?
Horrible optimization by Techland, the game can easily run 1080/60fps on series S and obviously in 1440/60fps on Series X/PS5, hell, even maybe some dynamic 4k/60 fps. I'm not a fan of these games but what a let down to every one who really is.
If you compare a similar pc graphics card. Series S can do 900p 60fps easily by just lowering the graphics settings. So series X and ps5 should be doing 1440p 60 easily

I reckon they'll patch in FSR which will allow for higher fps while looking like its a higher resolution. I also think another Ray Traced more will be added for Global Illumination as the Ray Tracing for that adds a better look to the game at little expense. Over the mode they have now. Digital Foundry suggested this stuff. PS5 and Series X can definitely do a little more than this with reconstruction techniques.
@@hhhfdsfs no way to do DLSS on these systems. So FSR is the way to go or a dynamic resolution. It's easy to patch in and allows for higher performance. And it will look slightly better than 1080p.

Es un juego next gen bastante exigente, piden que una consola alcance 4k? es enserio? La optimización del juego es muy buena, eso es facil de comprobar al ver la utilización de GPU y CPU y la grafica de framerate en PC, si tanto se quejan compren un PC y ya, no le pidan cosas imposibles de hacer al estudio desarrollador, ya que las consolas son muy pobres a nivel de hardware
Entre más avanzan las consolas menos lo hacen los estudios, cada vez salen más juegos con problemas de desarrollo pero igual es entendible pensando que es el inicio de la nueva generación y que aún no se explotan al 100% las capacidades de estás consolas tanto SX como PS5

Without talking about frame rate or different modes... I played dying light 2 on my ps5 on performance mode and loved it... Then I played with some friends on ps4, and it felt clunky... It paused to load bits in... NPCs stuttered... It took ages to load... Crafting took ages... The menu too forever...
It's totally unacceptable that this game on current-gen consoles doesn't have a FOV slider, motion blur toggle, and depth of field toggle. These 3 things are killing this game for me right now.

@@EduardoMartinez-ed5lf el problema es que el raytracing consume una barbaridad de recursos, en PC yo tengo una 3090 y si ejecuto el juego a 4K con RT al máximo y sin el DLSS lo muevo a 35-40 fps maximo, en cambio si quito solamente el RT lo nuevo a 75-80 fps, es gracias al DLSS que se consigue mover a esas resoluciones de 4K con el RT a 60 fps y solo con gráficas punteras.

El RT en un juego como dying light, en el que se tiene que procesar TANTAS cosas no solo es el doble LO MULTIPLICA. El verdadero problema es que con el pasar del tiempo los saltos generacionales son cada vez MÁS reducidos. A comparación de antes. Técnicamente la rtx 2060 es bastante más mejor que la ps5. En todo aspecto. No lo puedes negar. :/

No se nada de la historia, solo que es normalita(no me importa, e visto pelis zombis de serie ve muy malas y a mi me encantan) e visto que mejoraron la noche, las persecuciones, que es más difícil, el parkout, el gore. Soy un afortunado por que podré disfrutar de la mejor manera a este juego y encima lo conseguí por 20 € de segunda mano. La gente tiene demasiada prisa y no sabe esperar. Los videojuegos suelen tardar en producción unos 5 años más o menos, por esperar un año más no pasa nada. A no ser que tengas la sensación de quedarte atrás con los jugadores si no lo juegas día 1.¿Puedes creerte que e jugado a decenas de juegos en la play 5 y que todos los e jugado en su máximo estado?. Si un juego sale bien lo juego de salida y si no cuando este arreglado. Si quieres tirarme hate o burla te o lo que quieras jajajajaja. Habían un montón de rumores sobre que el juego tuvo problemas de desarrollo y de dirección, se nota en su optimización y en que se haya descartado la ciudad del primer gameplay, una lástima porque prometían más.

The PS4 is running at a lower resolution than 900p. It runs at around 850p. 900p would look less blurry. Nonetheless, it's still good performance and if you are gaming on a 1080p TV you will get used to the low resolution. Other than that, there isn't that much of a difference compared to the big boys. PS4 Pro looks very decent and perfectly playable.

The biggest difference for me is that on ps5 you can change the FOV and on ps4 you cannot. 60fps with wider fov feels completely different than the ps4 version.

Weird that they didn't initially enable FSR for the PS5 to have any sort of 4K 60fps. The RTX mode on PS5 turned out to be somehow unsuccessful, as it takes 30 frames per second, but nothing noticeably improves.
Yes, this technology is not enough for the next generation of consoles. It was interesting to see the result, if this technology appeared during the past generation of consoles, then all games would go in FHD 60fps, and the PlayStation 4 Pro had native 4K resolution and 60fps. Too bad we don't know?
Horrible optimization by Techland, the game can easily run 1080/60fps on series S and obviously in 1440/60fps on Series X/PS5, hell, even maybe some dynamic 4k/60 fps. I'm not a fan of these games but what a let down to every one who really is.
If you compare a similar pc graphics card. Series S can do 900p 60fps easily by just lowering the graphics settings. So series X and ps5 should be doing 1440p 60 easily

I reckon they'll patch in FSR which will allow for higher fps while looking like its a higher resolution. I also think another Ray Traced more will be added for Global Illumination as the Ray Tracing for that adds a better look to the game at little expense. Over the mode they have now. Digital Foundry suggested this stuff. PS5 and Series X can definitely do a little more than this with reconstruction techniques.

Fsr is not good, it looks nothing like native. They need ai upscaling like dlss or xess.
@@hhhfdsfs no way to do DLSS on these systems. So FSR is the way to go or a dynamic resolution. It's easy to patch in and allows for higher performance. And it will look slightly better than 1080p.

Metro exodus va a 4k dinámico 60fps con rtx y se ve infinitamente mejor que esté bodrio.

Es un juego next gen bastante exigente, piden que una consola alcance 4k? es enserio? La optimización del juego es muy buena, eso es facil de comprobar al ver la utilización de GPU y CPU y la grafica de framerate en PC, si tanto se quejan compren un PC y ya, no le pidan cosas imposibles de hacer al estudio desarrollador, ya que las consolas son muy pobres a nivel de hardware
Entre más avanzan las consolas menos lo hacen los estudios, cada vez salen más juegos con problemas de desarrollo pero igual es entendible pensando que es el inicio de la nueva generación y que aún no se explotan al 100% las capacidades de estás consolas tanto SX como PS5

Tramquilos llevo casi 30 horas jugadas ya y debo decir que es super divertido y casi no me encontre errores. El juego va super fluido y te sientes poderoso matando y haciendo parkour. Una gran experiencia. Lo juego en ps5

Olvidáis un detalle importante, en consolas no hay DLSS como en PC que ayuda bastante al rendimiento.

@@EduardoMartinez-ed5lf el problema es que el raytracing consume una barbaridad de recursos, en PC yo tengo una 3090 y si ejecuto el juego a 4K con RT al máximo y sin el DLSS lo muevo a 35-40 fps maximo, en cambio si quito solamente el RT lo nuevo a 75-80 fps, es gracias al DLSS que se consigue mover a esas resoluciones de 4K con el RT a 60 fps y solo con gráficas punteras.

Técnicamente la rtx 2060 es bastante más mejor que la ps5. En todo aspecto.

Vengo del futuro, y el juego lla esta acabado. Yo siempre e dicho y siempre cumplo esta promesa que me hago yo mismo en esta generacion. No juego a ningún videojuego hasta que este totalmente arreglado y cambien mecánicas, ambientación etc que no gustan a la gente en general, no lo juego ahunque tenga muchas ganas. Y como siempre pasa, siempre tengo razón. Estuve un año comiéndome las uñas como fan del género zombies ahora soy un afortunado. No se nada de la historia, solo que es normalita(no me importa, e visto pelis zombis de serie ve muy malas y a mi me encantan) e visto que mejoraron la noche, las persecuciones, que es más difícil, el parkout, el gore. Soy un afortunado por que podré disfrutar de la mejor manera a este juego y encima lo conseguí por 20 € de segunda mano. La gente tiene demasiada prisa y no sabe esperar. Los videojuegos suelen tardar en producción unos 5 años más o menos, por esperar un año más no pasa nada. A no ser que tengas la sensación de quedarte atrás con los jugadores si no lo juegas día 1.¿Puedes creerte que e jugado a decenas de juegos en la play 5 y que todos los e jugado en su máximo estado?. Si un juego sale bien lo juego de salida y si no cuando este arreglado. Si quieres tirarme hate o burla te o lo que quieras jajajajaja. Lo digo por que este mismo texto lo e escrito en muchos foros y lla estoy acostumbrado a los maleducados y tontitos. Jajajaj. Paz
