What I love about you Finn is not only you emigrated and assimilated to the culture but also helped Filipinos by supporting local businesses, help build a school for trafficked children, helped clean up beaches and get rid of crown of Thorns that are destroying corals, show casing the beauty of the unbeaten path in the Philippines and now showing how you can live a self sustainable life using what nature has to offer by planting your own food, collecting rain water and using Abundant solar energy where you are. Amazing! By building your house, and having your yacht, you provided jobs to people. How awesome! I noticed Finn and Sherlyns skin look so healthy. My son has an asthma but, when we visited last years he said he didn’t have any issue breathing. He actually said he was feeling better. I guess because we didn’t stay in Manila. We’re from Cebu.
Finn as you have loads of sunshine you can use polytunnels with solar power for growing tomatoes and green peppers, strawberries and blue berries. Use seaweed, moringa leaves and neem leaves compost then use as fertiliser. For lighting in the tunnels LED best, put enough ventilation inside so that you can control the temperature, you must build it solid because of the typhoon. The yield under tunnels will be 5 times more than traditional farming. Use bees hives next to the tunnels for pollination. We are developing 16 acres here in Seychelles using this technology . Our tunnel is 30 meters by 10 meters. Our test trials were 6 harvest per tomato tree 800 plants in one tunnel. That yields many tomatoes tons We are also in contract to develop one hundred acres in Tanzania too.

They will still grow tall. But they grow much more slowly, fruit earlier, and have shorter lifespans. So they don't usually reach the height of tall cultivars because they die at around 40 years old (in contrast to 70-100 in regular coconuts).

I grew up on the beach Finn, I prefer the mountains and I will have my vegetables and chickens when I retire. I have a beautiful view of the ocean and the hills. I like the off the grid living.
Yess! It would be fun to know the cost of building a house in the Philippines, starting with land acquisition, engaging an architect to help design your house, etc.. You guys have done an amazing job finding the right lot/site/location to build your house, the right contractor, etc. I love your house design, from top to bottom, and all that went into building it. England is the best place for potatoes as we have about 30 varieties which suit whichever cooking style you want, that's one of the things I miss about living here, the potatoes are not so good. My goals, climb Mount Apo (I've been looking at it for over 20 years from my house) so 2024 is the year. Also solar power for the house. God Bless.

I walk the walk, not talk the talk, is how you want to say it. For those who don't do what they say, it is, they talk the talk but never walk the walk! That's the old saying you are thinking of. We are doing the same going to build a self-sustainable farm. I plan to use solar and a well and water collection with filters etc.! I have a hybrid system we use commercially for power plants but I am going to size it down for a farm. It is much more efficient than panels. Although panels are becoming much more efficient as time goes on. I caught what you said at the end, and now that you have curtains you can try a lot more! LOL! Good luck! Everyone is hoping for a finnlynn soon! You may need to reschedule some trips to land on the correct dates. I have dwarf coconuts. They produce coconuts, but don’t get as tall. Very nice along our fence line. No risk of falling and damaging our house.

I walk the walk, not talk the talk, is how you want to say it. For those who don't do what they say, it is, they talk the talk but never walk the walk! That's the old saying you are thinking of.
We are doing the same going to build a self-sustainable farm. I plan to use solar and a well and water collection with filters etc.! I have a hybrid system we use commercially for power plants but I am going to size it down for a farm. It is much more efficient than panels. Although panels are becoming much more efficient as time goes on.
I caught what you said at the end, and now that you have curtains you can try a lot more! LOL! Good luck! Everyone is hoping for a finnlynn soon! You may need to reschedule some trips to land on the correct dates. Make this your number-one goal I see it in Sherlyn's eyes and actions that is what she wants most! God bless you all!
