That scene where she lets Cornelia wear her late mother's veil makes me cry every time. Samantha cherished her memories with her mother, so her giving a piece to Cornwlia shows great generosity and maturity on her part.

I love this movie. And I was already an adult when it came out! . It's really well cast and has a great storyline. Nellie is a great character in the stories. It's so sad they never did Kirsten's story. And even sadder how American Girl got so far away from making and marketing the historical dolls

A true masterpiece, one of the best A.G. movies of ever. Samantha is an adorable girl, a true angel and Anna Sophia had unbelivebly merged herself in the character:maybe her best performance 🤩 I have to add something: I am italian and had to see this movie (for the fourth time) in english as an italian dubbing does not exist; I had to be satisfied of the A.I. generated italian subtitles (which were neither available on my first viewing, two years ago). If one day the dvd or bluray with the italian dubbing will be released, I'll run to purchase it!

I love watching the “American girl“ movies 🙂 I just love how they make both the movies and the books are so entertaining and so engaging that your kids /and might not realize their are learning about different cultures and different ways of doing things and how how to make things right and how to a voiceless and to fight for what’s right for everybody. .Also,the movies are so entertaining and so engaging and so entertaining that. Your students and/or your own children will love watching the and reading the books and watching the movies so much that they might not want to stop. 🙂Definitely a great educational series. They should make a series like this for boy’s,What they could do is to take the series and turn it into a version of the “American girl “ movies and the book’s and tell the same stories only from a boy’s point of view. For example,they could Make a version of “Felicity an American girl ( which is set in the 1700 hundreds during the time period of the revolutionary .Anyway,they could do the same basic story only from a boy’s point of view. For example,they could use different lifestyles and different ways of making a living.Two things that I like to see are: 1) seeing what daily life is like from the apprentice from Benjamin Davison,who has an apprenticeship contract with Felicity father and also what daily life is like for a shopkeeper in the 1700’s So, I would really like to see a second movie about how thing’s have been going since the original “ Samantha,an American girl” movie and also,I would like for the sequel to start were the original movie left off. In conclusion, I would really like it if someone could please make a boy’s version of this series and I would like to have some more American girl stories please 🙂
