- Dave and I are mobile again for the Wisconsin QSO Party. This time hitting four POTA parks and five counties on our multi-multi-mobile road trip. Will we end up with an epic score or fail miserably?
Team K9M is Michael KB9VBR and Dave KZ9V. This is our second year as mobile operators in the Wisconsin QSO party. If you made contact with K9M during the QSO party and would like a card, please QSL via KB9VBR. As they say, I'm good in the book.

I see on QRZ that call sign is assigned to someone else. Hopefully it is straightened out. Great video Mike!
1x1 callsigns are special event calls. They are temporary and are often reassigned to others for their event. You request it for the duration of your event. After that it goes to someone else.
looked like great fun! 73 w3rrm
MIKE IM SORRY BUT IT AINT A PARTY TILL SOMETHING GETS BROKEN 😂👋like the outside videos 👍
It didn't make it into the video, but about 5 minutes into the contest, an Anderson power pole connector on the positive battery lead melted and nearly caught fire. Fortunately, Michael had a spare battery lead, so we just lost a little time. That could have been a disaster, and something definitely got broken.

@@davewhite7679 thanks for the reply, YEP ILL CALL THAT A PARTY 😂
I live in CA and as far as I can tell no one lives in Nevada. It’s a difficult state to get even when you are next door.
For me, it was the last state for my POTA hunted all states award. It took forever.
100 contacts an hour - thats like human FT4 rates of QSO :D
At one point, when both of us were running big SSB pileups, we had a combined QSO rate of 240 Qs/hour. It was insanely fast.

@@davewhite7679 amazing - i struggle with just having a regular QSO but then I'm just starting to get into Telephony and weaning myself off datamodes. The videos from yourself really motivate me to get out and do more PoTA - I've even found a park nearby that so far no one has activated !! Might need a little bit of your QSO skills then :D
Wausau needs a GMRS tower.
I've heard one on GMRS 20 around here. Antigo maybe?
I'm by wausau so i cant reach it from here.@@natep121
Awesome video guys! What a great party. 73 de KD9PCD
