Ukraine Asks for the Permission to Destroy Aircraft over Russia

- As the war intensifies, Russian planes bombard Ukrainian cities with glide bombs from air bases in direct proximity of the border. And now Ukraine asks for the permission to hit those airfields with ATACMS missiles and down Su-34 fighter-bombers over Russia with Patriot air defence. That will be a game-changing decision.

And they said it all because they are scared of escalation of the war, and that immediately empowered Putin to attack Ukraine with everything he had except Nukes. President J.F.K would not only have allowed Ukraine to target mainland Russia, he would have warned Putin to get out of Ukraine or else.

@@FoulPet Biden hasn't blocked Ukraine from joining NATO but countries involved in any pre existing conflicts like Ukraine are barred from joining under the NATO membership rules. Biden was probably just reminding that Ukraine is currently in that situation until the war ends, and support has been pledged for Ukraine by the USA for, 'for as long as it takes', so the USA pulling aid as such would be against that promise. It is for those reasons tied in with the fact your comment as worded would obviously be that to be expected from a pro russian false propogandist as your comment as worded would obviously suit the Russian side of this war where it in the interests of Russia to try to minimize support for Ukraine that I said what I did in my reply to you. I replied to the very first commenter here but even though what I said definitely did not and could have not breached YTs published guidelines, my reply in spite of several attempts failed to post, so perhaps I had something relevant to say on the subject?! I only found out about this restriction recently and I feel very bad for Ukraine in my personally not having known anything about it. I had assumed so long as Ukraine absolutely did not strike civilian targets it would have been up to Ukraine to use the supplied weapons and ordinance as it saw best fit within at least an implied understanding that it would be expected to try to use those to best effect which Ukraine would obviously try to do anyway! This is Ukrainine's war - it should fight it as it sees fit. Countries should provide military assistance in terns of equipment and weapons but don't tell Ukraine what or where or how to fight their war.

There is no reason why they should not dare. And I read somewhere that the Houthis in Yemen made an arming agreement with Russia. They certainly won't get slingshots, but probably ship-sinking rockets.
