The Incredible Hulk will always be one of my favorite marvel films. Superhero/Thriller
This hulk is more aggressive, terrifying, intimidating, and powerful than any other hulk, Best version of Hulk ever.
    Every time the hulk spoke:
    9:00 Leave me alone
    37:59 Hulk Smash
    39:27 Betty
32:23 this is when Samuel sterns becomes the Leader.
37:24 The hulks #1 move, the Thunderclap
Thank you both so much 😊, you guys are the best.

Except for the animations of the Hulk and the physical modeling of it look more unrealistic than the versions after this one. He still looks like he is made of putty or something instead of flesh. The ones after look more solid and like a real living thing than this version. Also, there are many different versions of the Hulk, several of which don't work in team ups with other heroes as he is too overpowered. For stuff involving The Avengers, a more average version of Hulk is necessary. The versions Hulk fans like most, pretty much only work in Hulk exclusive storylines.

One thing I've always loved was his fear of it. As much as I don't much hate the approach Mark Ruffalo's Banner took to trying to understand the Hulk, it always spoke more to me when Edward Norton's seemed to always be struggling against it. Hulk after all is a force of nature and I feel the MCU really didn't handle the character all that well.

Don't worry, the dogs weren't killed, just hit with tranquilizers.
In 1978 there was a live action television show with no CGI. It started Bill Bixby as Banner and Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk. While Banner was in Brazil and watching television. The man that gets hit is the late Bill Bixby. (R. L. P.) And the security guard on campus that got the free pizza is Lou Ferrigno. It was a nice nod to the originals.
When Hulk puts out the fire. That's his famous Thunderclap. HULK Smash is also his iconic phrase. ✌️

  • @Alex_Lottus

The film begins with an exciting Bourne-style chase across the roofs of favelas, which is much more exciting than anything that follows, simply because it involves real stuntmen, and not animated effects, no matter how impressive they may be. It's also nice how the film strikes a darkly gritty tone, delving into the inner struggles of the characters, which gives the film a jolt of emotion, especially in one amazing transformation sequence. The Hulk was really incredible. The film was as much based on the story as Ang Lee's efforts, but this reboot has a lot more entertainment for the story, unlike the 2003 version, which was a story, with the "little" Hulk "sprinkled on top." This story was much more satisfying, as was the cast, but it still had some missing points. The Hulk character is hard to look at for the most part, and I personally found that I couldn't help but think about "CGI!" The final fight itself was pure adrenaline and brutal, as it should be, but I couldn't help but feel that if it had been a little more 💥"HULK SMASH!"💥 it would have been better. Thanks for the reaction!💚💚💚

    @Alexszander 5 месяцев назад +28

1:00 during the intro sequence, you can see references about Stark Industries and Nick Fury (you saw him at the end of Iron Man, introducing himself as the Director of SHIELD)
2:05 Yea Norton is from "Fight Club" and Liv Tyler (his love interest in this movie) you've seen in The Lord of the Rings as Arwen, Elrond's daughter.
5:36 Laura entering her John Wick era 😂jokes aside, you can see the dogs got sedated, not killed, so it's not as bad as it looks.
10:18 while transformed into the Hulk, Bruce casually jumped/ran all the way from Brazil, across aproximately 5 countries at least, ending up inn Guatemala. Small little detail but impressive nonetheless.
11:17 Captain America reference - the Super Soldier Program.
16:18 "Look alive" - an alternative way of saying "pay attention"
20:08 by far one of the dumbest moments in this movie. Super trained soldier goes and taunts an incredibly angry behemoth.
22:15 another powerful scene, showing just what a primal force of nature the Hulk is - his instinct to protect Betty would have him fighting the very elements themselves.
23:10 the sounds you heard in the bathroom in the previous scene - that was Bruce throwing up the memory stick. Luckily for us (and him), it didn't have to come out the other end 😂
24:08 perpetual blue balls - what a terrible curse!
24:32 the Super Soldier serum, albeit the greatly diminished version that Blonski got, clearly did its job admirably, putting his body back together.
25:59 Magy getting flashbacks from her two great wars with the taxi drivers 😂
32:26 you might have missed it but the scientist already had a cut on his forehead and some of Bruce's blood dropped on the cut when Blonski pushed him away.
35:59 the final fight between the Hulk and the Abomination was pretty damn epic, from start to finish.
40:20 the post credits scene hype is only going to get more and more intense from now on.
Loved your commentary and thoughts at the end, well done!
Thank you for the great reaction ❤

As for giving the " Super Soldier" variant to a guy like Blonsky..stupid, given what it's done to others ( Schimdt, Banner, etc.) ..Steve Rogers really was the only one with the mentality to make it a good thing.

    "En Guatemala."
I want to point out something _especially_ significant about this scene. Banner turned to the Hulk pretty deep in _Brazil._
Now, it would've been startling _enough_ if he had come out of it in one of the countries that _border_ Brazil. That would be French Guiana, Suriname, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina or Uruguay. But for it to happen in _Guatemala,_ he would've had to have crossed _several_ countries as the Hulk. Most directly, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras. _Five countries_ he crossed as the Hulk before coming out of it.

That 3rd transformation always gets me with how painful it is for Bruce Banner to transform into Hulk. Also, one of Hulk's abilities is that he draws more strength from his anger. The angrier he gets, the more powerful he becomes. It shows that Hulk can bench-press a tank without breaking a sweat, but his strength is virtually limitless. To answer any questions, Bruce Banner's grasp over Hulk depends on HOW he transforms. If it happens voluntarily, Hulk has more of an ability to reason and comprehend things. But if it happens through uncontrollable stimuli like anger, Hulk is the living equivalent of a wrecking ball.

But the thing that's important to understand is that "Anger" isn't actually what causes Bruce to turn into the Hulk. It's his heart rate. Anger just happens to make a person's heart beat faster. It's a coincidence: not the cause. If he gets excited too much; horny too much; anything that makes his heart beat up to 200 beats per minute he'll change. anger, fear, excitement; all of that is his trigger. It's just that anger is the most easily accessible emotion to increase his heart rate, so they say that being angry makes him change.

You might already know this, but Liv Tyler is the one who played Arwen in Lord Of The Rings. She is the daughter of Steven Tyler, the lead vocalist of Aerosmith, a famous rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. I would say to check out probably their most well-known, they have many, Dream On.

Bruce Banner feeling responsible, gets a “last” kiss, jumps out the helicopter feeling heroic. Realizes what he’s done. Hits the ground. Dies.
    Movie’s over. 😂🤦‍♂️
That was literally what I thought when I saw it in theaters! LOL
    Just imagine that ending ladies…😬

This is a soft reboot of a movie that came out in 2003 which was just called _Hulk._ It was the goliath's first appearance on the silver screen in CGI rendering and it was pretty rough around the edges. It kind of pains me to admit that, because it had Jennifer Connolly and I'm a fan of hers, but it left a lot of room for improvement.
Edward Norton, though, played this role very well, I think. Unfortunate that they recasted Banner yet _again._

6:35 There are two ways I can glean for why this is such an odd thing he's doing.
First, he's in _Brazil_ wearing a hooded _sweatshirt._ Now, this is not exactly a _cold_ country. I don't think there are many people _wearing_ one of those.
But, second, that sweatshirt is _red._ Read up on the psychology of color, some time. Different colors have different effects. Red is a color to which human beings instinctively pay _attention._ That's why it's the color typically associated with urgency. Something red against a background of, say, forest green, will stand out more than something forest green against a background of red.
Now, how many people do you think there are, in that part of the world, running around wearing something _red?_ This is going to call attention to him all the _more._

Ed Norton has a major reputation for being difficult to work with, specifically the directors, script writers, etc. His contract for this movie gave him final say on the completed script. He also rewrote parts of it and demanded that his own script writer do some rewriting as well.
Norton was then trying to demand full control over the script for his character going forward. THIS is the reason Feige fired Norton from the role. Norton is known to be somewhat narcissistic, especially on set.
In order to maintain a cohesive connected universe Feige knew he couldn't give an assortment of people complete control like that.

Liv Tyler's younger sister Mia once pushed up on me. My older sister taught dance at Stagedoor Manor in update NY which is a prominent performing arts camp/school. A number of actors went there. Natalie Portman was there at the time under her given last name (look that one up if you want, I'm sure it's out there lol). But my family took a trip to pick my sister up and Mia kinda took a liking to me, but she kinda freaked me out with something she did. I probably should've been friendlier about it but I brushed her off because I didn't know how to handle something like that at the time. She was sweet, though. She was just trying to get to know me. I should've handled it better. But it left me with a story to tell. I mean, there's more to it, but there's no need to go into detail here.

Edward Norton was a great Hulk. And it’s unfortunate that he did not continue to be the Hulk throughout the MCU and was replaced by Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo is also great as the Hulk but Norton was the one who began it all in the MCU. But unfortunately the reason why Norton no longer became the Hulk was because he mentioned in an interview that he wanted diversify his career and not be known for one character. But at the same time, Norton is actually one of the most difficult people in Hollywood to work with. He takes his craft seriously which nice to know that someone is dedicated to his work but he takes it way too seriously and that’s part of the reason why Marvel did not want him back as the Hulk anyways.

Do you really believe, the MCU-authors would've changed their Hulk-scripts for Norton? His arc would've been the same as Ruffalo's Hulk. And by the way - Ruffalo's Hulk in the first two Avengers is the absolute best version of Hulk, we've ever seen on the big screen!
