Thanks for your advices and your lessons , and answering the request. Always a great pleasure to work on Magic Sam. Such a great player, love the West Side Soul album. Thanks Johnny 😎👍
Love Love Love the Magic Sam lessons. Great horn part rhythm parts. Always looking for counter part guitar parts so Im not just riding the same wave as the other guitar player(s). The whack mute needs a little practice but a new groove to me. Nice.
I don't finger pick, but would like to. Could you do a video on how to do it, what parts of your fingers to use, how to manicure your fingernails, etc.?
i don't really bother with manicuring although who knows, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea. I wish I had some more speicifi things to say. the flesh of your thumb has a nice attack and the tip of your first finger sounds great. thanks duckman
@@JohnnyBurginBlues This may sound strange, but the fleshy parts of my fingers sometimes pull strings when I don't want to pull them. I've found that the older I get (I'm 65), the more clumsy I get. I find myself slamming my slide on the fretboard, etc. Thanks for your advice, Johnny!
Man I really enjoy your lessons, tailored to the blues I love. Thanks Johnny!
