Marty, it's been a minute since I've watched your content, but wanted to let you know that you and Justin Sandercoe basically taught me how to play guitar. You are a huge influence on my life and I want to thank you for that. Cheers brother!
wow that was some homie blues nothing to fancy but with all the butter i liked how u actually demonstrated how to start and end with the root note but in this case the fifth note and that extension stuff is a beginners dream thanks marty😄
Ending on fifth or fourth, instead of same old third or root. :) Last you tube update is messing with my navigating the screen. Got the gist tho'. Smiley! Thanks Marty!
This is something that speed type players should give consideration. You can get alot out of a few smoothly placed notes. Billy gibbons is a great player to listen too. Also hendrix and Stevie Vaughn. It takes a little more time to get use too. Great lesson.
Hi Marty! Great lesson! Yr guitar sounds great with the Boss amp. Have you ever connected pedals to it, like BD-2 or Tube Screamer? Separately and in combination with the built in ones?
Hey Marty! I am a new electric guitar player, and I find adjusting guitar pedals to be difficult, on your videos are you able to show how to adjust the pedals so my guitar sounds like yours in your videos? That would be a huge help for me and all your other watchers. Thanks Marty
Look into the Spark amp - lots of presets to choose from for all sorts of sounds. It's great for beginners that want to get into pedals without having to actually get into pedals.

This is literally the video I’ve been waiting for the past month as I’ve tried improving my blues solos.

if you are beginning you really have no reason to be using any pedals unless it’s maybe one distortion pedal
