I have this feeling that Verg is specifically mad at Don, not just from her fucking up the whole operation it's probably because what she does is reminded him of what Garnet does in Leviathan and how his innocent really want him to be a hero and save Lapis. And the fact that he talk to Charon at the start of the cutscene kinda backs my point
this actually makes things a lot worse, do needs desperate mental health intervention but (obviously) can't achieve so and she's stuck in a limbo of being a slave to her own false ideals. What the website meant was that the manager should redirect her delusions to achieve a smooth mission but not directly encourage them fully if that makes sense source: I have delusions lol
Oh yes the moment where Virgilius did us a Chad move and proceed to show dominance on the stuiped Don Quixote. Than again I'm pretty sure anyone will agreed she had it coming both the players and the characters themselves.
I love Don for the little idealistic gremlin she is, and even I knew this shit was coming. They were not gonna keep up with her always being the cause of problems, and I appreciate that

I feel really conflicted about don's beatdown. On one hand it was definitely justified with how much she had messed up some of the missions, but then again all she really wanted was to do the right thing and help others. Obviously that isn't always the best approach, but i somewhat relate to her need to do something to help those in need. Im definitely curious to hear her backstory, i wonder if her constant need for justice stems from her trauma...
Without spoiling Leviathan too much i believe Mephistopheles is based of the device from the comic that make people able to be their other self, that's why the summoning animation is Mephi's mouth, in the comic those who use it and failed turned to crystal and break (this probably why there's so much glass effect in this game) Charon is the only one that permanently change identity without becoming crystal, also one of the death crystal start to glow in her hands, the red crystal might be the core of Mephistopheles, thus made the bus actually somewhat alive and only work when used by her.
Spoiler: Not exactly, it's likely based off of Yi Sang's Mirror Tech and not Ashea's Glass Window, as Mirror seems to be about putting on an alternate identity while Glass Window is about utilizing multiple at once

Then runs into Inquisitors who continue to be the bane of my existence (Though I eventually EX'd them all too) and calls them free. I mean, he is running a team that is literally nothing but some of the most highly rated IDs in the community, but still.

I think the casino 'jackpot', if verg's not referring to anything offscreen. gives me hope that he's actually being understanding of dante in his own way, that we can't really force the sinners to behave, but we do have to push our way through with them - which is why he does rather lightly but factually scold dante without any real harm. a small mercy given that the sinner's punishment is dante's punishment as well with rewinding.
I thought it should be 4. 1st for killing Ryōshū. 2nd for hitting Tintanger Gang. 3rd for reaching for slot machine button. 4th for breaking a glass at K Corp.oration Checkpoint.
I mean, killing Ryōshū wasn’t an event that happened during a mission, and all the sinners that died in the bus were just brought back, so it ain’t much of a “fail” when there were no long-term repercursions. Therefore, its shouldn’t be considered as one of Don’s fuck-ups

Don ruins plans. She ruins every single plan. She starts shite all the time. Every time something goes wrong, Don was the instigator (the only exception was in Hell's Chicken). That was indeed a long time coming.
It was certainly surprising but deserved what happened to Don. But if you go back and listen closely, you can hear the main music slowly fade away in the background before it happens, adding to that foreboding that everyone knows is coming.
Even as a huge don fan I would be lying if I said this wasn't completely deserved. It was hard to watch, but necessary.
