Just made this! Turned out super! Made tiny changes like adding a bit of vanilla to the caramel and a bit of cinnamon to the apples. Also next time I'll add less sugar! Thanks a lot for this easy peasy recipe. It was my first apple crumble ever and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.
I use the same method when making caramel! One time I followed a recipe that said not to stir the sugar and I just ended up with burned sugar. Great recipe! I love caramel apple flavors. Crumbles are the best.
Kate in your recipe it says for the caramel unsalted butter but in the video you just said butter and then in your crumble part of the vid it says unsalted butter which is opposite of your recipe in the video details so is it butter in caramel or unsalted and for the crumble is it regular butter or unsalted thanks looks delicious

Maldon Salt is a great option for the caramel. They sell it at most high end grocers like Whole Foods and Gelson's
