My 1st Day at Chemotherapy (UCSF)

- Today was my first day going through Chemotherapy at UCSF. Accompanied by Alodia and my dad, I knew we would be in the hospital all day so i did my best to keep things entertaining and just have fun with it. This was my first chemo experience in the hospital as i went through the process. Next video will detail the side effects from the treatment and how i handle the difficulties of what is to come. Thanks for taking us on the ride with you. Like I said before... your dad is my hero. If you could have someone "riding shotgun" with through it all would be "Pudra." I guess he knows the ropes and knows the ins and outs of it all. From the IV stand dance to turning into a "walker"... it's all good! Here's what I'm taking away from this video... I see some great things. I am getting to see how a father "is there" for his son... keeping it light and just having fun. It's funny how we learn by just watching and laughing sometimes. I see a relationship building between two people. Sometimes life gets in the way, but there are times when the awful stuff is the glue that actually cements the bond between people. Finally, you show that even during chemo... you're taking laps in the hospital. Activity breeds positivity... and you're putting that out there.
You are not providing just entertainment. You are sharing real life experiences. They are tangible and can help other people grow. Bethcha didn't think you were actually fulfilling the role as a teacher and life coach, did ya? Keep on keepin' on.

Went through chemo myself. Try an emulator for video games if you don't get too nauseated. Otherwise I always recommend sleep because you need rest! Good luck dude!

Man... I just stumbled upon this video and then watched your last few videos and I just want to let you know you are nowhere near alone. I just got married this past July and then literally on my one month anniversary I was diagnosed with cancer myself. And then seeing your video about being a father made me smile because we also have a child on the way. After checking out your channel more we are kindred spirits through and through. I am excited to see your upbeat and excited mentality. I am about to have my third round of chemo in 3 days. I wanted to let you know I am following you closely, and I am experiencing this side by side with you as I go through the same steps. I am sending positive energy and keep on keeping on. Cant wait for your next video.

I can see the pain in pudra's eyes, clearly he doesn't want to show it because obviously this is another one of those tough times they have to go through as a family, he'd rather show strength and humor. yes it is tough and heartbreaking to see your son go through the same ordeal you've been through. but remember when the going gets tough, the tough gets tougher.

Been dealing with a rare disease diagnosis for the past couple weeks. Saw this video on my feed and it really brought my spirits up. I'm looking into some difficult treatment plans myself and you inspired me to bring a good attitude with me. Thank you for this video.

Today is the day that I finished watching each and every vlog of yours. Thank you for reminding me to be myself and to DGAF-ing what others might think.
