This is a nice post. The thing that stood out to me the most is you used the word "admired" when you talked about Alodia. Admiration is up there with "respect." It shows that you hold them in a high place... which is where they should be. There is another word that, to me, is at the heart of it all... It is honor. Do my words and actions give honor to my partner? As love grows over time, admiration, honor, and respect seem to replace that flutter of the heart that occurs when we see that special person.
You said Alodia is "in it to win it..." Buddy, that's someone who is looking to "the long haul"... the lifelong commitment. Love flows, grows, morphs, and changes into something far different. I was thinking about this last week and wrote a little something about it. I'd like to share it with you.
I’m starting to understand that love is a whole lot more than what we see in movies or hear in songs. I realize that we have heard about love for our entire lives. We’ve had the opportunities to witness depictions of love on the small and large screens. We’ve heard about love on car radios as we drive to and from school or work without really thinking as we sing along. We’ve got paper cards, e-cards, singing telegrams, cakes, candy, flowers, and videos all celebrating love, but do we really think about what love is?
We find out about love as we meander and sometimes trudge along the path God lays down for us. Although we may see flowers along the trail, I think there is a guarantee that there will be a good deal of mud and rocks on it. It isn’t clean and there are times when our toes, knees, and elbows will be bloodied. Yes, it’s my experience that love is all about shared pain and sacrifice. It’s tears, snotty noses, crying, and occasionally shouting. It’s about debt, payment plans, empty wallets, and giving more than you actually have because you care enough when those you love are in pain and need help. It’s about denying pleasure because you know that in the end that loved one’s well-being is more important than momentary self-gratification.
I’m not sure that we’ll hear a song on the radio about taking a second mortgage to pay for a medical procedure or not going on vacation in order to afford straight teeth for your child. That kind of sacrifice doesn’t make the Billboard charts nor wins an Oscar for “Best Supporting Parent.” Despite that, love really makes the world go round. Although we don’t usually hear songs about it, it’s still worth going to the mountain top and singing love’s praises.
If you're "in it to win it..." then be ready for the whole enchilada. The sacrifice is worth the pain that ALWAYS comes with love. Happy Valentines Day, you two... And let the love Keep on Keepin' on!

There are couple of times in the past that i would make alodia's pictures as my fb covers and comment to her videos like theres no morrow. Suddenly, some time 3 or 4 years ago. He jumped in to the picture. He was just so busy learning tagalog back then. And his good and he was zealous about it. I was so amazed how persistent this filipino american tsongo on learning our culture. But, hey, theyre not on the same picture yet. I am seeing them in the same world "RUclips " on a whole different perspective. Year 2017 was the tinakdang taon if tama ako. I saw these two wonderful creatures hanging together. I felt so giddy somewhat ecstatic, it was mixed emotion when they ended going abroad together with some thirdweel. Ahahahah. It was intensified when their vlogs became so collaborative and so cheesy na. I wonder how these two ended up friends when they were two different people(sa maraming bagay, were kasi isa theyre sharing na their likes) which happens to be my faves.
2017 was when Wil was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, i thought it was the end. I thought he will surrender his vlog for full recovery. I thought something worst was bout to happen. But, hell no, it didnt stop him. He fought cancer so well that he didnt just beat it but played with it. He even gained million of followers not because he asked for it but because "WE" saw a lot from him. We love him and his enire family. The battle was ot easy for wil but knowing that his parents and sister Haley was there. He kept his best foot forward and just enjoyed the journey. Hey! Hes got his lucky charm Alodia whos been there from day 1 til today. Travelling bacj and forth from Pinas to California.
I was so skeptical about this because its too good and so amazing to be true. I thought Wil was just friendly and Alodia on the other hand was just respectful. Lol. But, no, theyre officially together. Theyre both loving each other differences, plethoras of it. im so proud of how genuine your love for each other. Im loving how both of you enter each others world and enjoyed it. Im just so joyfull and excited how your love for each grows forever.
Im not a fan but a super fan. Im looking forward for more vlogs from both of you, together. Im now imagining how tsongo and siopao offsprings look like. Hmmm. 😁😀😂☺

God was there the whole time Wil you see He knew that you needed to stop for a moment to see the blessing that He was sending you. Alodia was your light at the end of that dark tunnel. She is your blessing and that you needed to realize that after your encounter in malaysia. You needed TIME to realize that and so the timing was perfect. You had to go through cancer to experience true love. You know what they say...God has a plan for everyone but only in God's perfect time.

It's such a pure joy seeing the eyes of a couple who love each other, parang bituwin sa langit na kumikinang-kinang....and making time, sharing joys, being with the sick love one to care, expressing through actions how deep is her/his love to the other person because he/she is someone SPECIAL part of his/her life now.
I'm touched and got teary eyes while watching about the real status between you and Alodia. Your love story is an example of one true love and it's good to see that both of you have positive impact on each other. It's good to know that you also confirmed your real relationship in time when you're on your way to full recovery. There is something good when you are not confirming or denying anything in your audience because that is what makes your subscribers more get excited and looking forward and waiting about it. It's also for both good for you to have your privacy. although for me I could say you are already a couple bf-gf level, but it's not totally good to assume especially nowadays there is what you called MU or mutual understanding but not on the gf-bf relationship yet. MU is like you you just like each other, but no string attachment yet. it's best to reveal about your relationship on the right time. Ah! The excitement of a new love. Like multitudes of people, I am giddy with excitement over the prospect of a confirmation for something that has been pretty obvious all this time. It has been as plain as day that they were smitten with each other from the very first time they met so there has never been any need for them to affirm what they have between them.
So I make myself a fresh cup of coffee as I wind down my day and proceed to watching the video. One simply cannot deny the electricity coursing through them and between them. In simple errands and in the most trivial of things they find joy because they have found each other. There is no need for a special occasion or for grand gestures, because in the moment and with every movement life is spectacular for those in love. What they have is a beautiful thing, beginning with serendipity, forged through adventure and strengthened by adversity. It is the stuff legendary things are made of.
So I say to Wil : "Good on you for finally making the move to declare your love!" Not because it benefits the millions who follow you but mostly because it is a move to honour your beloved by telling the world that is it so. You raise her up by your decision to proudly declare you cherish her. Undeniably you have tugged at our heartstrings more today than you have ever done but it is also a testament of your affection for your significant other, to wear your heart on your sleeves and unabashedly stake your claim to your mutual eternity. Take care of her and take care of what you have with her. Time like life is a precious commodity. Take great joy in the fact that you have been blessed with the one you can call your own and travel through life's highways with.
