he's probably using an amp sim and impulses, you can get great tones out of those

A buddy of mine had this same guitar, with the exact strap. I installed some passive EMGs in there for him too. Haven’t seen that guitar in over 10 years. Wondering if I’m looking at it right now!

You could run a guitar track through Bias FX and get pretty accurate settings.
Take a look at the like/dislike ratio. You've done a very fine job with this and we're ALL waiting for a tutorial on how you accomplished this that exactly!

1 - The are software programs like Guitar Rig 5.
2 - There are so called Impulse Responses. Impulses are caught giutar tone by a software. So everybody can make those extact tones with Guitar Rig 5 and Metallica IR packs. That's the whole magic :)
