@@marinapapella3062 What do you mean I have active pickups and when i pick the whole room just vibrates because i pick really hard if i pick weaker then the pick sound is weaker exactly the same as passive but better
This is actually really close to the tone. The reason I believe people are saying it needs more "chug" or "bass" or...whatever, is because you're only playing one guitar. If it was double tracked then you would actually get what it sounds like, because that's how it is on the record. Just like Jon Schaeffer records with low drive since he quad tracks Iced Earth's records. Less is more, especially when you have more guitars on tape
Man I love your channel and your tones are great but honestly your playing is fantastic .I'm a rhythm player that plays a lot of Metallica and your picking is really tight on that damage Inc bridge riff which isn't easy to do so keep it up!

Amazing job. I'm pretty sure you've used impulse responses. It is definitely EXACTLY the EQ Master has. When you layer the piss put of this it will have the Massive sound of Puppets. You are very good a riffing as well. I need to learn these same riffs! And thanks for solving the mystery of Disposable Heroes. I could NEVER figure out that one riff.
Just needs a tad bit more low end I believe but wow dude, great job! Starting off with battery was awesome and really showed how fucking close the tone is. Bravo!
listening to this made me realize that master of puppets sounds a lot like ride the lightning guitar-wise, it's a lot drier sounding and has less gain but there's still this frosty crunchyness to it
More 160 Hz bass and less super high treble. It’s kinda ice picky on the ears. Master is supposed to sound warm and crunchy. There’s too much treble for it to be warm sounding rn.
i cant wait for a kill em all riffage
We all can’t wait
its out
5:16 that riff though
Damage inc is so underrated, love playing that riff
exactly. the most menacing riff I've ever head
2:57 sounds almost perfect. A bit more bass and it'd be 100% master tone
nah he just needs to pick way harder
@@Djentfan420 having active pickups doesn't allow the player to make a sound difference with the picking, you need passive for that.
Its literally just 1 guitar you are hearing, on the record theres like 6 just remember that
It's perfect like it is

Clearly they've never recorded anything on their own ;). Doubling up and then adding in the bass == album mix tone.
Master of puppets 4 tracks 2 right 2 left 2 L+R frontside for the rythmn and the back 2 L+R backing guitars for full effect
Love it! When you jumped into Battery, my mind went back to hearing that riff for the first time!
Could probably use a little bit more chug, but other than that it sounds really good
The Guitars always sound heavier in the mix.
@@jensenparker5504 but even when singled out it has chug but here it's missing that nice little extra fat chug
A bit more chug and less treble I believe? To me the MoP tones sounds pretty "dark" compared to AJFA for example
Thats why they layer their guitars to get the maximum amount of chug!
it just needs to be layered a few times
Wow, your playing is super clean!
That suicide and redemption intro 🔥🔥
Hetfield would be proud, i think. :D
The tone is satisfying to hear aswell as how good Bryce plays the riffs
"master of puppets" "starts video off with suicide and redemption" lol
Bad Account Lol he’s talking about the album master of puppets dumbass
Bad Account Lol I knew I knew that riff, but I couldn’t figure out what it was
@@natemahony493 no shit. He was making a joke dumbass

Sick, especially when you went into sanitarium! Great playing bro!
Dude, you're awesome at this
Great video and great playing, man. Looking forward for the tutorials. Really liked the ride the lightning one.
Your picking is amazing man. I'm learning and getting better but wow I got a ways to go ha. Sick skills
Love it, cant wait to see some videos with this
Ride was more close, but this is so amazing.
That’s so spot on. Well done!
Watched this 10 months ago and yup, your picking skills are incredible man.
boi, im really looking forward to your channel
The songs sound exact. This is the person give all my respect to
Logan Molencupp it’s pretty far off from the right tone lmao

And the amp captures all perfectly. In my amp I can't play Disposable Heroes cuz of the E string it sounds shit
One of the best playing I've ever heard!!
0:05 Suicide and Redemption
Tutorial?
The guitar tone aside... your a phenomenal guitar player
Wow, killer tone and sharp playing
You gotta lemme see how you're doing that
He has a video for the ride tone
Aaron Schierz but not for master
CrebleStar has an amazing tutorial on how to get this tone. I think he follows Creble's tutorial

Reeeeeally liked the Suicide and Redemption snippet at the very beginning
They really mastered thrash metal all those riffs connect perfectly and blend amazingly. Great influence for metal.
by right hand hurts watching this, awesome picking. like a machine

Wow this beyond impressive
screen record what the software be looking like , we all need this 🤣
Made my day!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
a little more gain and ur tone is gold
I guess he wanted to capture just 1 channel (Hetfield) tone without more gain to sound like a studio album
The gallops is so on point
That was identical! Perfect tone! You did play disposable heroes a bit slow tho. But good job anyways!
0:04 Suicide & Redemption 🤘
Thats a great right hand!
Spot on
Accurate yung tone kuya hehehe, nice shirt!
I wish I could play like you man
Nice work! Your tone is somewhat on point here. Would you share your rig with us?
That's awesome basically the same
You know what would be really interesting? Recreating the No Life Til' Leather tone.
If Fight Fire with Fire was on No Life Til' Leather, maybe?
No economy picking was included in this video.
Nice playing man 😎
this sounds like ride the lighting more than puppets but still a good tone 👍🏻
You're genius
Awesome, dude lml
listening to this made me realize that master of puppets sounds a lot like ride the lightning guitar-wise, it's a lot drier sounding and has less gain but there's still this frosty crunchyness to it
Good tone
Perfect
2:08 i wish i could pick like this. it’s not the down picking that’s the problem. it’s those fast little triplets he does i wish i could do
Triplets are easy😎
this sounds really good but i think it needs more chug
Dude, if you can find a way to make a Slayer Hell Awaits tone, I will be the happiest man ever!
More 160 Hz bass and less super high treble. It’s kinda ice picky on the ears. Master is supposed to sound warm and crunchy. There’s too much treble for it to be warm sounding rn.
Yeah the treble makes it sound more like Ride The Lightning (But I like the tone from that album more so idc lol)
@@mr.nicktheboy1030 that tone is much brighter
Bruh where u from. I have that shirt here in my country lmao
I love toons ❤❤❤🎸
3:18 holy crap that sounded beautiful, I don't remember hearing it on the album tho... when is that played??
Can you do no remorse on ride the lightning please?
Nice
....crystal...❤
Sounds like a hybrid between master and ride the lightning
How do you do this? Is it an amp into a computer program? Are the programs publicly available? Appreciate a response - love the videos
I haven’t tried the whole amp to usb thing yet so excuse if it’s an elementary question lol
He made a video explaining how he did it
Did you remove your videos on how to make the tones? I can't find them anywhere
Nailed it perfectly! Dying to know what gear do you use
which program, software, amp, cabinet, etc. have you used?
Kerry King Guitar jaja Niceee
What are your amp settings
Edit: and what amplifier do you use
Unbelievable! Is this just one guitar?
Leper messiah is so fkn accurate
Can you do one of these for kill em all?
This sounds more like AJFA than Puppets, way too trebly.
Nah, it has that liveness on the mids that is Master's _raison d'etre_ . He should only add more low end and it's perfect.
DerTodesmeister It sounds like Damage, Inc. more than anything.
@@xxEzraBxxx Might be, every album has different kinds of guitar tracks and the one Bryce used might be based on the Damage Inc. one.
Sounds too good to be the justice tone lol
noice
Kill Em All guitar riffage when?
That would be badass as fuck
tight as fuck
Perfect. Nuffsed.
How u getting the so good tone?
My man with those downstrokes
Everything except leper is played very good
how did you get that choppy attack when you hit a note, tried to recreate using the same emissary setitngs, was it the reagate settings that did that?
Ditch emissary and use Megafuzzie MK4 instead lmaoo
@@BryceBarilla I haveeeee I used that for like a year now, also why did u delete your tone vids I can't find them on your channel
I love this tone, but it sounds more like RTL than MoP because of the treble and lack of low end.
The Black Album riffage please
I support this request!!
JaymZ same
How have been you playing guitar?
Haz video de cómo hacer ese tone please 🙏🙏🙏
Chuggachuggachuggachugga...🤟🤟
Could use a tad more gain/bass. Other than that spot on.
Headbanging in your undies is some mandatory metal shit dude.
Too much treble / not enough bass on this one, but keep making great content!
How can u make a sound like that what tune is it
I have the rp 360 pedal how i can get this tone?
What interface did you use to record?
For Daw he uses Reapet and I think he uses a Behringer.
No one:
Captions at 0:11: *laughter*

What did you use to get this tone?
im so sad i still cant play battery as good as Bryce :(
The guitars were tuned at E standard using 435Hz on the guitar tuner thingo on the original recording
Do some megadeth guitar tone riffage
