Tbh, this season reminded me how safe F1 has become. It's amazing that throughout all these crashes, noone was seriously injured. Just shows how amazing the cars safety has become
@@mikhailfernandez24 very, very true. It's increíble how far we've come. But we can't rest on our laurels, there's always more we can do to make sure everyone leaves the track alive.
@@heretustay exactly... some people complained a lot about the Halo when it was introduced (and some still does complain about it) saying that it was unnecessary, that F1 was "too safe" or that motorsport is dangerous and it is how it is... "accept or leave it" and some actually said that the scenario for what the Halo was planned for never happened when it already happened a few times in a number of Formula series with some fatalities... and after it was introduced, it already proved to be useful a few times.

We could have had the worst year in F1 history without the halo, so the fact that F1 stuck to it is just epic.
Plus, as it makes the cars THAT much safer, the crashes are mostly dramatic and not scary like they used to be. Big up 🕺
That, and some people are still against halo which I don't understand

I still find it messed up how Lance's engineer asked "what happened" rather than "are you ok" for his accident at Mugello

Grosjean especially, just seeing him walk out of that fire brings so much relief to everyone's faces

Though he didn't do anything but it must have been horrible to see the fire behind you.

TBH not even a puncture. It just gave up, because everyone dragged them further than they were supposed to last.
I felt so bad for him when it happened and he was blaming himself.
@@Midaspl it was a punture tho. You can see the tyre go all out of shape with a big hole in the side.

Stroll's tuscan crash was pretty scary...you could see how scared he was after the crash

I think he was more dejected that a puncture ruined his podium
He was going to get a podium on pure pace and had his race ended. Gutted for him multiple times this season. Could have been on the podium 4-5 times if he wasn't unlucky.
I remember that at that Moment i was really scared because of the speed he went to the barriers

Dany’s crash still brings tears to my eyes, especially because he was so hard to himself, blaming himself. I just wanted him to know that he had a puncture, that it was not his fault. Just wonder why his time didn’t tell him....

It's still shocking to see Romain's crash at Bahrain. Incredible that he survived with relatively minor injuries. Hopefully we never have another fatality in Formula 1.

tuscany takes up at least 40% of the list. italy takes up 50% of the list, a honda powered car involved in about 50% of the list

@@TheSutoo Do you mean geographically? That is irrelevant. F1 and O.S. split it by races, not geography. Tuscany was a race and Italy was a race. Tuscany had three on the list. Italy had one.

I'm still so happy that nobody was injured or worse in the last three crashes.
The Grosjean crash was the first F1 Grand Prix I had ever seen. Feeling my heart drop when that crash happened is something I will always remember. After researching how far F1 has come safety wise. Its amazing to see him walk away from that crash. scary stuff.

What’s truly scary is aside from the fire neither of those crashes were as kinetically violent as Grojean’s. He could have easily ended up like Francois Cevert or Helmut Koinigg without the halo.

What a season it was! The amount of heavy crashes was insanely high! and everyone got out safe! the amount of crashes is not a measurement of excitement, but it does count to create a spectacular season, where every driver pushes to the limit... can't wait untill the next season start

It’s remarkable notice that the last fire after a crash in F1 was San Marino GP 1989 Berger crash at Tamburello corner (yes, that Tamburello corner) then just cases of fire in pit lane. I’m still convinced that the Haas chassis was defected

When I was a young boy, I got into watching F1 because I loved seeing the crashes which were entertaining to me because I obviously didn’t know what was happening being just 5. Now I realise how dangerous crashes can be and that they are very serious. Despite hating Grosjean with passion, I am glad that he survived so he can see his wife and children again

I love how chill lance stroll is when he crashes.
I remember me and my dad seeing Grosjean crash live. That was a horrific crash. Thank the lord he lived, it proved the halos worth, and even though years ago I did not really like the look of it, I’m glad it is here now.
